29/11/2025: What can I say? It was divine. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch, and the dishes are beautifully prepared. We had cardoncelli mushrooms (outstanding) and culatello for appetizers. For our first course, we had lorighittas with sheep's milk ragù and fregola with cheese, melon, and truffle. Guys, it was amazing, a 10! Next, we shared the braised goat meat; we didn't even need a knife. The house cake was delicious! Good luck, guys: I know you're hidden away, but then again, gems are hard to find! We'll definitely be back.

10/09/2025: An extraordinary culinary experience! During my stay, I dined every evening at this splendid restaurant, always feeling welcomed and pampered, even though I was alone. The fish, always incredibly fresh, shone in every dish, with the raw fish leaving me speechless. A special thanks to Antonio, the owner, for his passion and the unique atmosphere he creates. Kudos also to Stefano, Francesca, Angelo, and Stefhi for their professionalism and warmth. The service was impeccable, precise, and never intrusive. The refined restaurant, with attention to every detail, is perfect for a relaxing evening. Every dinner was a special and memorable experience. 24/01/2026: A very welcoming bar, restaurant, and pizzeria, fully stocked, located near the bus terminal, just a few steps away. The owner and staff are very courteous, friendly, kind, and always available; just ask them for anything. Excellent local cuisine, not to mention the fresh pasta they use, which is out of this world. A la carte menu, and no waiting for a table. Delicious pizza and excellent desserts, especially the ones they make fresh. Highly recommended to all tourists and locals. 💯👏🥰

03/01/2026: On our last evening in San Giovanni Rotondo, we were looking for a place to eat something without being ripped off again because we were tourists. We went into this place and ordered some rustici and ate them on the spot. The place is air-conditioned (it's very cold outside). Everything was good, lots of choice, and especially my kids (who are strict judges) loved it! Five rustici, two cans of soda, and a bottle of water for €20... what can I say? EXCELLENT! Recommended...go there!

24/11/2025: Having traveled extensively in Italy, gelato is found on every corner of every city. Very few are actually art in a cone. Vieste is a true treasure in Italy and Ruggieri serves some of the best Gelato in Italy

09/09/2025: While sightseeing in Vieste, we happened to stop at Caffè Gelateria Ruggieri: a welcoming place with truly delicious gelato. We found the service friendly and the atmosphere pleasant. A highlight: they offer a wide selection of lactose-free gelato, ideal for those with lactose intolerances or simply preferring lighter options without sacrificing flavor.

19/10/2025: A very characteristic restaurant with a stone structure and traditional cuisine. The portions are generous and the dishes are excellent. We ordered both first and second courses, and everything was excellent. We'll definitely return.

18/08/2025: I had dinner here with my family. The portion of fried food was very small, and honestly, it certainly wasn't a memorable dish. The pizza was average, neither good nor bad. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The prices were honestly high for the products offered.

08/11/2025: I'm a professional driver and I often go to San Giovanni Rotondo. Since I discovered this place, I've been coming back more often. The quality/price ratio is top notch. Excellent food, rock-bottom prices. Pasquale, the owner, is incredibly kind and delightful. I recommend this place to everyone.

11/10/2025: A 5-star quick meal. While looking for a quick bite, I found Pranzi Express, which was truly delicious, from the first course to the second course, etc. I had Emilian wheels, parmigiana, pork loin with arugula and parmesan, and potato gatoo' for the modest price of 18 euros, nice large portions. Really good. The price was reasonable for the quality and quantity, even a little low. When I return to San Giovanni Rotondo, it will be one of my stops. Lunch only available for takeout, in convenient containers, with forks and everything you need; just ask.

24/08/2025: We rented two sun loungers and an umbrella. They were very kind, helpful, and very quick. We took advantage of the opportunity to have lunch. The dishes were very good, but the only flaw is that there's no menu with prices displayed because it changes daily, so the price was somewhat unexpectedly high. Overall, recommended!

15/08/2025: Had lunch. Excellent dishes in a simple location with a sea view. The only flaw, which I'd already read in other reviews, is that you order without knowing the cost of the dishes. The service charge isn't shown on the receipt, just the total.
