Only by eating can you understand the difference in the food! The owner Pasquale is a professional who knows how to manage his place... and knows how to entertain his customers! The great simplicity, expertly transformed by chef Matteo, who accommodates every request and transforms your desires into dishes steeped in tradition and delightful goodness.... Thanks also to those who, with great experience and ambition, manage this business in a contemporary way, yet respectful of the history and culinary experience and ancient flavors of our city.

15/03/2026: The staff is courteous, friendly, and friendly, without ever being intrusive. Dishes are made with top-quality local ingredients, and are described clearly and quickly at each course without being boring. The wines are excellent, with the option to purchase bottles from their selection. I chose to buy two bottles of Aglianico Kandèa to accompany the tasting menu. The prices are in line with the quality of the food and the beauty of the dishes. Everything was excellent, but the broken candles with almonds and the cod with gazpacho were incredible! Highly recommended.

21/02/2026: I went for dinner and can only confirm what I thought. Excellent food from appetizer to dessert, with top-quality ingredients. The owner and all the staff showed great care and attention to the customer.

26/01/2026: OK, the best sushi spot in Sarasota, FL is no more... see my prior review history for location, sadly it's gone forever. Now, moving up a slot, is Utamaro Sushi Bar located downtown Sarasota. Been going here for years, always exceptional, now 100% the go to place in SRQ for sushi. Note this review is for take-out, holiday party at the office, everyone but the CEO loves sushi, but he stepped up and tried Yellow Tail, LOL, and loved the cooked orders. You won't be disappointed, please GO. Check out this spread of delish photos! Here we have: SUSHI = Hamachi, Bluefin, Uni, Sake, Scallop, Fatty Tuna. The only thing missing was Saba... I requested but somehow the request was denied LOL by ordering party (private joke). ROLLS = Manhattan, Flamingo, Seakosho, Dragon, Emperor, Spicy Tuna, Bang-Bang, Mexican Roll, Triple Tail, Eel, California.

14/01/2026: We have always had a go to sushi spot. But, tonight we wanted something closer to home. Utamaro exceeded our expectations! Quite possibly the freshest, best quality sushi we have had. Will be our new sushi spot! Thanks for providing such quality and service.

27/09/2025: It's hard to imagine a more beautiful place for a wonderful dinner. The food itself – mainly fish and seafood – is truly excellent, and the price-performance ratio is excellent. The freshly baked, delicious bread is also a real highlight. Add to that the fantastic atmosphere and the attentive service, and you'll have a truly unforgettable experience. But the tables with your feet in the sand are the icing on the cake. We'd love to come back! Grazie mille!

01/03/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant on a Sunday. When we arrived, it took a while to ask where our table was because the place was packed. We chose to sit on the outdoor veranda because the weather permitted. As soon as we were seated, we were served by an elegant and polite waiter, who brought us bread and water, while our order was taken by someone else. We ordered an appetizer and two first courses and decided to wait until later to choose the second course. The appetizer arrived in a timely manner, good but sparse, considering the price. After that, we were no longer considered; we waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for two first courses, which cost €16 each. I'm not a complaining customer, but all the tables outside (which arrived after us and were much larger) ate well before us. The waiter, sensing our disappointment, came over after an hour and said we'd have to wait a few more minutes, but another 20 minutes passed. The two entrees were cold and not worth the expense. We ate and left. We were charged the full bill and asked if we wanted a limoncello, but after two and a half hours of waiting, we just wanted to leave. A bad experience.

13/12/2025: A truly positive experience. The freshest fish, cooked to perfection. The homemade desserts are also highly recommended. In winter, the warm atmosphere creates a Christmassy atmosphere. In spring and summer, the terrace with its breathtaking views of the Gargano offers a romantic and evocative setting.

26/11/2025: The best rotisserie in town! Clean chicken and excellent fries, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Foggia's excellence.

09/11/2025: A renowned rotisserie, serving only spit-roasted chicken, excellent fries, chicken skewers, and paccanelli. The restaurant is located on the central Viale Colombo in Foggia, a densely populated area. Always very busy. Reservations are recommended. The owners are extremely kind and courteous, and the staff member who cooks the chicken is extremely friendly. Pantagrill's chicken and fries are a true delight.
