Spent the day in the Roman spa. Wonderful experience. Friendly staff. There are ruins of a medieval tower that were preserved in the floors. Very cool.

An amazing hotel with a modern and baroque charm. Polite and responsive staff. Attends to all your requests. The restaurant is fantastic and so are the servers. The Spa and massages are very interesting and refreshing. Location is central. Every spot is within walking distance. Has a fabulous time staying at the hotel. They sell produce from their farm. Try it. You won’t regret the taste. It’s so captivating that I bought their extra virgin olive oil, pickled mushrooms and a tomato sauce made from apple cider vinegar vinegar.

So it's an extremely beautiful property with very helpful staff who go out of their way to make you comfortable. The rooms are beautiful as well, and the cleaning staff does a great job making up the room. The reason for 4 stars though and not five, is just because at the price point of ~$1K a night, I expect everything to be perfect. The room had a noisy air conditioner which was making a bunch of gurgling/draining noises that woke me up a few times. I called down about it, but presumably they weren't able to fix it because it continued to happen. There was also a flickering light in our room, and the shower would leak water in gap next to the glass and make a puddle on the ground. These things probably wouldn't even be mentioned in a much cheaper hotel, but again, given the price they are things that bothered me.

An absolute Golden 5 Star hotel, from the beginning greeting by doorman, concierge and dining room experience, breakfast daily, all and all is definitely 5 Star quality and deserved. Attention to every little detail, high ceiling beautiful curtains and all, absolutely definitely coming back.

Helvetia & Bristol is amazing!! The rooms are gorgeous and very spacious, and we loved the aesthetic bathroom supplies and great breakfast buffet. All the employees were hard working, kind, and quick to offer help. It’s also very conveniently located near the main historical sites and many restaurants + shops. Totally recommend this hotel if you’re staying in Florence!

I loved this hotel. I stayed at the four seasons following this hotel and I honestly almost preferred this one with price in mind. I loved our stay here.

One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in Italy. Absolutely gorgeous and plush. Perfect location in the city center. The decor is dreamy. Truly italian design with Renaissance flare…as only the Italians can do it. We had a suite which was very spacious and well designed. I woke up every morning feeling like a princess!! Comfortable beds and pillows. Cozy bathrobes, great bath products, lovely turn down service. The rooms were always impeccably maintained. Excellent cleaning staff! Front desk and valet staff and Alessandro the concierge were lovely and more than helpful! They truly made it a wonderful experience. We cannot wait to return!
