24/05/2026: I went there at least five times during my vacation. The service was very friendly and efficient. The wait for the food was always minimal. The atmosphere was cozy. And most importantly: the pizzas are sensational. Varied, delicious, and cooked in a beautiful wood-fired oven. Even the locals agree that this pizzeria is the best in town. Top-notch!

04/07/2026: Just arrived to our nearby airbnb and popped in for some lovely food. Place was warm and welcoming, with great service and fantastic food all very reasonably priced! Homemade limonchello was a hit!

03/05/2026: If you want to eat fish that truly tastes of the sea, this is the place. I had an octopus and shrimp appetizer that was out of this world: incredibly fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked, and a presentation that shows how much love they put into the kitchen. The octopus was incredibly tender and the shrimp were incredibly sweet. An experience that reconnects you with good food. Five well-deserved stars!

23/06/2026: Two friends and I took an aperitour at Cantine Paololeo, and the experience exceeded our expectations. Booking was simple and intuitive through the winery's website in the Wine Experiences section, where several options are available. We chose the afternoon aperitour. The morning of the experience, we were contacted by Giuseppe, Tour Manager of Cantine Paololeo, who provided us with all the necessary information about the location and confirmed the time we had selected during the booking process. This attention to detail was particularly appreciated. We arrived a few minutes early and were immediately greeted by Giuseppe at the winery's main headquarters. The tour was engaging, rich in detail, and expertly explained, both the winemaking process and the history and philosophy of the company. We then moved to the Wine Shop for the second part of the experience, dedicated to the aperitif and tasting. Giuseppe proved to be extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and capable of guiding us through the tasting in an interesting and never boring way. The wines offered were all excellent quality and accompanied by carefully selected and very enjoyable food pairings. The tasting was well-organized and relaxing, allowing us to fully appreciate each wine. At the end of the experience, we had the opportunity to purchase the winery's products, at absolutely fair and competitive prices. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone who wants to learn more about the world of wine through an authentic, professional, and thoroughly enjoyable tour. Congratulations to Giuseppe and the entire team at Cantine Paololeo.

15/06/2026: Aperitour on June 5, 2026. Giuseppe, a brilliant sommelier, was immediately captivated by his passion for explaining the production processes and the history of the company. The highlight of the experience was undoubtedly the tasting of excellent wines accompanied by a delicious Apulian aperitif, which Giuseppe led with masterful involvement, charm, and expertise. 25/05/2026: We just finished lunch at this wonderful shop and couldn't be happier! Starting with the appetizer, we sampled their artisanal platter of the finest cured meats and cheeses from all over Italy, followed by some delicious first courses. The owners capped it all off, leaving us with wonderful memories. Thanks again, highly recommended!

04/05/2026: Our second visit in a month, again tempted in by the live music. This time a trio playing bossa nova. My starter was advertised as a fried egg and I was intrigued to see how they could make such a humble breakfast item into a restaurant quality dish. They somehow managed to cover it in a crumb coating on a creamy pea puree base with crispy bacon. Excellent. Mary prawns were very good. For main I had a deliciously succulent pork. Mary’s tagliate di manzo (beef) was beautifully pink and tender all the way through.

13/04/2026: Not just a pizzeria but a full menu restaurant. We have dined there several times before. On this occasion we were tempted in by live music. Mary and I shared a couple of starters: prawns with yellow tomato coulis and thinly sliced roast beef. For the main course Mary went for fish with wilted greens and I had ravioli stuffed with chicken served with asparagus. Everything was delicious and clearly cooked freshly to order. An observation – Italian children are well behaved in restaurants because they are introduced to dining out from a very early age. There was a little girl who was clearly enjoying the music.

12/04/2026: The place is wonderful with amazing atmosphere while the food is really great, starting from top notch raw materials (seasonal and locally sourced, either from the sea or the land). It’s really hard to top what you can find here. Even if this was not enough, the service is impeccable and the maitre Jack is the best in the world! Highly recommended: no chance visiting Puglia without stopping by at Coccaro Beach club restaurant
