08/05/2025: We looked for a typical restaurant with meat. At the top!!. Fast service, friendly welcome, excellent skewer, slightly sweet Tiramisu, excellent flowing chocolate. Very pretty decoration

The downside was that the main course was served while we had not yet finished the starter. But otherwise a delicious meal. A bit more expensive than the other evenings we ate out in Carovigno

It felt like going to a family member's house for dinner and having the best food. Everything was fresh, well seasoned, and cooked to perfection. My only regret is that I wish we found this place sooner!

01/06/2025: For us, one of the best pizzerias in Ceglie. Beautiful ambiance in the vaulted cellar of an old olive oil mill. Outdoor seating is also available in the summer. Friendly and attentive service, and an interesting selection of different doughs.

07/05/2025: The antipasti della casa were excellent. Varied and of good quality. Then we ordered risotto ai frutti di mare. That was a big disappointment. We didn't get risotto, but rice ai frutti di mare. Long grain rice, cooked for a long time, definitely not risotto. Disappointing!

We tasted freshly baked Apulian pasticciotti: hot, fragrant and filled with velvety cream, they were a real delight. The simplicity of the place is amply compensated by the quality of the products and the goodness of the preparations. Every bite tells a story of tradition and true flavours. An excellent stop for those who want to discover the typical flavors of Puglia in an informal and sincere environment. 15/05/2025: Locale molto curato immerso nei suggestivi vicoli di Ceglie Messapica. Servizio impeccabile che ti fa sentire come a casa, molto coccolati. Cibo superlativo. Non ti aspetteresti di mangiare del pesce così buono e fresco in un luogo non di mare. Se siete dalle parti di Ceglie non perdete l'occasione per andare ai Capatosta. Meglio prenotare.

25/05/2025: I met Angelo on an organized group trip. We hit it off right away. When he answered the phone to take reservations, he made me want to try the dishes at his restaurant. No sooner said than done. I left for Ceglie Messapica on Wednesday and the same day I was at the restaurant. Excellent meat, excellent service, the place, what can I say, is truly an ancient village. You can only fall in love with this place. I will definitely return and I recommend it to everyone❤️

25/05/2025: It is a grill restaurant, they are courteous and welcoming. The menu has a rich appetizer with rare things like donkey mortadella, then fresh and aged local cheeses and cooked and uncooked vegetables. But the main course is the meats and in particular here they also serve horse meat.
