We had a delightful evening last night in this charming place where everything is designed to create a timeless experience. We are on holiday in Puglia and booked a dinner to discover the local cuisine and have a unique experience, and that's exactly what we did. A warm welcome, including a tour of the house by the owner in Italian, French, or English for all guests. The dinner itself was excellent, accompanied by very good wines throughout the meal. Stunning location, truly unique... It's a shame about the menu, which is rather touristy for a Puglian and therefore too expensive. Suitable for foreign tourists. If we'd known we'd be spending €75, excluding wine, for simple local food, we would have given up. In any case, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

We loved the philosophy of this place. The property is beautiful, surrounded by centuries-old olive trees and beautiful, well-maintained gardens. Everything is cared for with great attention to detail. What makes this place special is the people. The staff is friendly and takes the time to talk with guests, explain, listen to and make everyone feel welcome. We had dinner here once and it was a nice experience. We loved it. The surprise tasting menu was very good (we chose the 8-course and 5-course menus). Don't eat too much beforehand 😊. I highly recommend the wine pairing. The team takes the time to explain each course and wine, and the service feels warm and generous. The rooms are comfortable, spotless, and the entire property is very clean. It was a very nice experience. We stayed end of May for 5 nights and we'd definitely recommend this place.

We wanted to end our wonderful trip to Puglia at Masseria Il Frantoio, but we were disappointed. The welcome wasn't very warm, and there were few explanations. We were offered a tour of the Masseria at 8 pm... but since we wanted to enjoy our afternoon, we preferred to find our own way around. However, the grounds are large; we would have appreciated it if they had at least shown us where the pool was (which we spent a little while looking for ;-)). The second disappointment was the room. We had booked a superior room to enjoy the bathtub, but the water wasn't hot, so we opted for the shower, which was. What a shame. The meal, too, didn't live up to our previous experiences. We found the service impersonal; one person brings the plates, another the cutlery, then the dishes, and a third comes to explain the dish (sometimes we weren't even served before they came to explain it). We waited and ended up having to ask for our drinks (the other tables didn't need to ask), and the same went for coffee and liqueur (which we never received). We felt completely neglected. Other Masserias we've stayed at previously were far better in terms of food and service. On the positive side: the place is beautiful and very well maintained. We were able to keep our room for an extra hour because our flight was late. The breakfast was also very nice. We recommend this place, even though there are (in our opinion) a few minor things that could be improved.

We only came for the olive oil tasting. The tasting was good, and the sommelier explained it very well and engagingly. But the tour was a real disappointment. The woman who showed us around seemed very rushed. We walked 100 meters and saw one olive tree... furthermore, the old mill is no longer in use. For the price, we had expected a bit more explanation about the olive grove.

Amazing hosts, stellar offering. Food out of this world with the 5 and 8 courses tasting menus. Breakfast wide ranging. Everything organic and home grown. Olive farm with 1000 acre trees are an experience of the highest level of interest. Olive oil tasting amazing. 5 star experience.
