19/08/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance, the place is nice, the owners are very kind and attentive, as is the girl who looked after us at the table (which is not a given). The mixed local appetizers, pizza, first and second courses are as good as at home... highly recommended.

The experience flows seamlessly, with each course presented like a work of art that respects the region’s heritage while pushing it forward. A special mention must go to Pastry Chef Giuseppe, whose desserts are nothing less than masterpieces. His creations are light yet decadent, imaginative yet deeply comforting — the perfect finale to an already remarkable meal. Cielo at La Sommità is a jewel of Puglia, and without question, worthy of a Michelin star.

22/08/2025: The place is quite nice. There were six of us and we were very hungry. We ordered three appetizers and six first courses to share. The food was nothing special despite the fairly high price. The waiter wasn't at all friendly; the only person who treated us with a hint of respect was the owner, who opened a bottle of wine for us. We're disappointed because our expectations for the dinner were high. If I had to rate our experience, I couldn't give it a passing grade. It's a shame.

03/10/2025: Choosing meat from the counter and having it grilled: it's a great concept. We opted for an assortment of rolls, which, according to the instructions, promised a wide variety, but ultimately all tasted almost the same. Disappointing. They were, however, among the tastiest vegetable side dishes we've had in the region!

09/10/2025: As soon as I arrived in Brindisi, I took a stroll along the seafront at the port, and when I realized I was hungry, I went into the "La Nassa" restaurant. I couldn't have made a better decision. I ate really well, and the staff was super kind and helpful in explaining the local and international dishes to me. The sea view is beyond words.

07/10/2025: I wanted to go for Aperitivo as I’d read good reviews. This fantastic little bar caters for all. Very good Aperol spritz and being in such a hot spot the prices are very good. Was popular with Italians, which is always a good sign. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything is lovely and clean and the snacks with the drinks is a welcome touch. Would recommend and will definitely be back.

30/09/2025: It's a great spot, frequented by locals to grab a quick snack or take a bigger order for a takeout. The locals mainly go for the 'le fritte' section of the menu, and they know what they do. We have been there 3 times. First time we had only pizzas, Next visit we took pizzas and the 'Fritta farcita' from the 'le fritte' section. We did not manage to eat it on the spot as after the pizzas we had no space left for the fritta farcita - we put it to the fridge overnight and ate cold in the morning - it was amazing. On the third visit we took a huge sandwich (served cold and delicious) and again the Fritta farcita - this time we ate it hot and oh my - this is really it! The dough on the fritta is so different in taste and structure from the one on pizza, but it is really great. Now, don't get me wrong - the pizzas in there are great too - mind that the folks there do not try to save on ingredients - the pizza is full and compared to other places will get your stomach filled a lot quicker. The staff is very positive, open and will make you smile. Whenever we will come back to Bridisi, we will DEFINITELY go back to Pizzeria Romanelli

09/09/2025: Very good food at attractive prices. The quality is evident in the fact that many locals come here to eat. Tucked away on a quiet street, you can feel the atmosphere of an Italian town. I highly recommend it.

28/09/2025: Average quality and price... the place is a bit small... but it's always a good idea to book... parking is difficult and the place is a bit hidden, but it's a small detail.

07/08/2025: We visited this restaurant last night (August 6), encouraged both by word of mouth and the excellent reviews. The restaurant is located in the historic center, so parking may be a challenge. However, we were lucky: we found a paid spot about a hundred meters away. The restaurant appears to have been converted from what was probably a private home, so don't expect large reception rooms, but rather rooms adapted for the purpose, with tables set up wherever possible, including outside. Let's be clear: if you follow a specific diet or prefer à la carte dining, this might not be the right place. The menu is fixed, with no menu, and offers three options for 20, 25, or 30 euros, differing only in the number of courses (more or less starters and main courses). All menus start with 12 appetizers (yes, twelve!) offering a veritable array of typical Apulian dishes: dairy products, eggplant, zucchini, fava beans, capocollo... a journey through traditional flavors. Nothing like gourmet cuisine: here you dive into the past, into those genuine flavors reminiscent of Sunday lunches with your parents and grandmothers. It's true traditional Apulian cuisine, unfussy yet rich in authenticity. We chose the €20 menu, which included a second course, and opted for the mixed grill. Truth be told, we were already full after the appetizers, but with chicken livers, bombette, and the like... how could you say no? The price also includes water and, in our case, half a liter of local red wine. What more can I say, except that the welcome was exemplary? An experience we recommend to those seeking authentic flavors, generous portions, and a family atmosphere. It will be added to our list of restaurants to return to, perhaps for lunch :-)

18/10/2025: Very welcoming place, the owner Carlo is unparalleled both as a Master Brewer and as a Person, "Humble", very kind, always very helpful, smiling with everyone... Unique also in preparing his dishes... Pinsa in all its variations, stuffed potatoes, cold cuts, Norcina sausage in all its variations, and finally Unique because you can drink the best types of Craft Beer around... "BELIEVE ME" on the word, I do not hide the fact that I frequent the place every weekend, it is my fixed destination and I would absolutely not replace it with others....."SIMPLY GREAT".

17/10/2025: I got the pizza fritta. It’s hard to beat Romanelli’s, but this is very competitive, while being cheaper and with better atmosphere! Would definitely recommend!
