A beautiful location in the historic center, with excellent hospitality, unparalleled professionalism, excellent products, impeccable service, and incredibly helpful staff. The owner, Angelo, is always smiling and often in the dining room to chat with customers. Final rating: 100/100

Three stars because 2 for the potatoes and 1 for the meat. Everything was good, but I'm very disappointed that I came four years ago and they made meatballs, fried cooked ham, and much more. When I came yesterday, none of this was available, even with the excuse that they no longer fried.

First of all, book! A characteristic place in the historic center of Ceglie Messapica, traditional food with the chef's imagination... very kind and fast... nothing is missing... I will definitely be back.

We had an incredibly good meal. We wanted typical Apulian cuisine and we found it (and in abundance 😅). The service was perfect and the value for money unbeatable. The locals themselves eat there… that says it all!

I discovered this restaurant under what I believe is new management. Angelo is an expert host who knows his job well. But above all, he's a good person. He immediately puts you at ease and suggests dishes to introduce you to their excellent traditional cuisine, not out of a greed for sales. As for the food, there's not much to say. Except that everything is excellent, genuine, authentic, and homemade. Borgo Antico is a guarantee. I just recommend booking for Sunday lunch.

The service is very friendly and the place is clean and impeccable. The meat and potatoes are all natural, without any seasonings, definitely a delight everywhere. 😍🤤🤤 From the smallest to the largest, we enjoy dinner.
19/12/2025: Fantastic place for those who want to eat grilled meat. The 'Bombette' are fantastic, a true explosion of flavors and high quality. It's great to be able to see the fresh meat right in the refrigerator. Very friendly staff. Exceptional wine. We drank a magnificent Aglianico. We will definitely be back.
