23/11/2024: Pre-order service on ordinando.it non-existent. Pre-ordered pizza at 6.30pm for 9pm. It's 10.06pm, the pizza hasn't arrived yet (I'm writing this review after yet another delay).

17/02/2025: The bizarrest thing. We booked weeks ago, had email confirmation. Today we had a text asking us to confirm the reservation. We did. Then we turn up, and the place is closed! Permanently. Seems it’s been closed for ages. Tried to call but no answer. Lady in shop across the street said closed for a long time. Yet they are still taking reservations and sending out text confirmations. Madness.

16/01/2025: Terrible Made a reservation advise him that the kids had severe anaphylactic allergies. We called to make sure about the allergies They told me that they would have not have a problem accommodating those. Upon arrival, we again reminded them of the life-threatening allergies and again they said it wouldn’t be a problem. We were sat We immediately saw that there was nuts all over the menu. We even went so far as to ask for just plain pasta for the kids. And contrary to his argument we did show up as stated above but the Manager refused to accommodate the allergy’s and we weren’t being Karens poor customer interaction as they changed the res after we left just to charge us. BUT food did look good but it’s one of those places with mini portions so foodies might like it just don’t visit if you have allergy’s

11/04/2025: After having been there about ten times now, I can say that it is not a case of an error, which could be true, but it is a practice: every time the lady is at the checkout, the bill is not made in detail based on what was taken but the lady makes a lump sum, always adding about €5 more. So I advise you to do your calculations carefully when you are at the table and to go to the cashier prepared so as not to get ripped off. The few times I happened to find someone else at the checkout this didn't happen. This unprofessional and dishonest practice is all to the detriment of the place where the food is very good (the roast chicken is terrible) and the staff is courteous

01/12/2024: My girlfriend and I went, we were pleasantly struck by the friendliness of the owners Rossella in particular and of the waiter, we had some delicious bruschetta, then I had a sandwich with excellent smoked salmon and a crushed truffle cream, capocollo, almonds and threads of really chilli pepper. delicious we will definitely be back.

30/09/2024: Location accogliente, ubicata nei pressi del Castello, completamente immersa nella natura. Peccato però che nella struttura non ci fossero animali tipicamente presenti in un agriturismo, se non la presenza di qualche gatto. Pranzo (2 antipasti, primo, secondo e dolce) serviti a distanza di oltre un’ora di attesa tra una portata e l’altra. Tempi difficili da accettare e da gestire stando seduti, tenendo conto che nella piccola sala con pochissimi coperti, nemmeno tutti fossero occupati! Qualità nella media, e prezzi decisamente non in linea rispetto al cibo servito. Peccato.

14/09/2024: Casa padronale con poche stanze a disposizione, ma confortevoli. Colazione con prodotti locali. La cena è a cura di Nicola, chef accurato e pieno di garbo. Sarete accolti dal sig. Vincenzo con molta cortesia.

05/12/2024: I was there for a dinner as a couple on Friday and therefore over the weekend. As soon as we entered we were immediately greeted and found a seat. Waiting time between ordering and the arrival of the dishes was really quick considering that the place was not empty. Good sandwiches and really low prices for a place in the centre. Friendly waiters. Clean place. I recommend it

19/09/2024: In summer "il Vecchio e il Mare" becomes the final location in Trani where you can end the evening or even more so where you can experience the beginning of the disco night. That it isn't a dance floor can be seen from afar. So the music floats, but no one dances. The location would be beautiful if it were instead dedicated to intimate or business dinners, as the layout of the tables, tables and stools is well thought out. How soft and trendy is the lighting of the place. In reality there is already a restaurant just a stone's throw away, of the same name and expensive. This then becomes the place for young people, for those who always follow the trend of the moment, a place where they can meet, "pose", where they can "be there just to appear", where they wait to enter even for two hours (sic!) standing, on the initial part of the eastern pier of the port. To then sit at the first free tables. Nothing to complain about the place, with the sea on the side crashing on the cliff and it's all an excellent view. But it is the intended use that is perhaps not appropriate. All personal opinion

12/03/2025: Il Saint Patrick Beershop 133 è il posto ideale per chi cerca buon cibo e un’atmosfera accogliente. Tra le portate principali mi sono piaciuti molto, I tentacoli di polpo straordinari, morbidi e saporiti, mentre la Pinsa Martina è una vera delizia, con una base croccante e ingredienti freschissimi. Un grande applauso al ragazzo Andrea, il banconista, che con la sua professionalità ha saputo consigliare la birra perfetta per ogni piatto. Inoltre, la nuova responsabile ha portato una ventata di freschezza, assicurando un servizio impeccabile. Un’esperienza che merita sicuramente 5 stelle!

28/01/2025: Excellent food but I'm biased because I love thin pizza, but also appetizers and lots of other stuff, all of excellent quality, friendly and helpful staff, good environment with something to review, we found dirty chairs and also on the floor some residue from previous customers, some extra attention to cleanliness. Well done walls, pay more attention to cleanliness

23/12/2024: We came to eat here on December 23rd, I must say a nice discovery, the waiter was very kind to everyone, obviously perhaps a less crowded period but he was really kind and even asked us if we wanted an umbrella because it was drizzling outside... the particular pizza and the exceptional fried panzerotti, so much so that I couldn't take a photo😅... Happy holidays everyone.
