30/11/2025: Terrible experience... I ordered 4 pizzas for home delivery and was told that delivery was scheduled for 10:15 PM. I confirmed and waited until 10:35 PM when I decided to call back to find out what had happened. After 4 calls without receiving an answer, they called me back asking who I was and why I had called. I explained that I had been waiting for the pizzas to be delivered for half an hour. I was told that the pizzas had just been baked and would arrive shortly. So, already calculating a half-hour delay and taking into account that at 10:35 PM they had told me they were in the oven, I waited until 11:15 PM for them to bring me the pizzas. As I ate them, I realized that the whole wait was not alleviated by the quality of the pizzas. I absolutely must not do it again.

22/02/2026: I ate a bit of tartare, no first course, no fish, 4 or 5 pieces of fried food, 5-6 peppered mussels, just water, a handful of tagliatelle, shared with others, I paid more than 53 euros, about eight people out of eight, 3 didn't eat the first course and not all of them ate the sea bass, the result is, do the math

14/02/2026: We've been frequenting this fry shop for a while now. The quality of the dishes, especially the fish, has never disappointed us. The owner, besides being an excellent cook, is also a pleasant and patient lady... she greeted us with a smile and without a reservation at 3:30 PM, making us feel at ease despite the hour. Everything was excellent, fresh and authentic, the staff was friendly, and the price was excellent. Thank you and congratulations.

15/01/2026: Fried polenta with the right crispiness BUT completely unsalted. The service was quite rude. I gave it 5 stars because it's on a street in Bari.

11/01/2026: I've been there several times and have never been disappointed: a true must-try for Bari street food! The sgagliozze are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, warm and fragrant, with that irresistible aroma that greets you as soon as you enter the alley. The place is small, with no seating, so it's perfect for grabbing a bite and enjoying it right away, keeping a safe distance from the boiling oil. Despite its simplicity, the atmosphere is typical of Bari Vecchia: you hear the Bari dialect spoken by the owners and staff, and a smile inevitably escapes your face. The staff is friendly, quick, and always available, even when it's crowded. The value for money is exceptional: little to spend, lots of flavor. Every time I pass through Bari, stopping by Maria delle Sgagliozze is an absolute must. Highly recommended!

18/02/2026: For years, it has been impossible to contact the Municipality of Bari, by any means—email, registered mail, or telephone. I am a French citizen, but I was born Italian, and I cannot renew my French documents due to obstructionism by the Municipality of Bari; this is unacceptable.

26/11/2025: The owner tries to be friendly, but in reality he's just pushy and inappropriate. I'm here and there, as if it were the only bar in all of Bari. And the dessert display case is always the same, and the croissants are absolutely no good. In fact (obviously, in my opinion), if instead of chit-chatting, he'd think about restocking the display case, perhaps things would be better... and receipts??? Optional. I strongly advise against it.

23/11/2025: A charming place, full of elegance and tranquility. The prices seemed fair to me. Cover charge €0.50. The coffee and espresso were very good. A wide selection of pastries. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the restrooms were clean. Friendly staff.

08/01/2026: I've been to Fcazz e Birr in Polignano several times, and I always stop by every time I'm in town because it's the perfect place to grab a quick bite without wasting time. The place is casual, very lively, and typical of Apulian street food. There are only a few tables outside, so it can be difficult to find a seat, especially during busy periods like summer, but the atmosphere remains pleasant and lively. The real highlight is undoubtedly the focaccia barese: the dough is soft, slightly crunchy on the outside, and soft and fragrant on the inside, with that authentic flavor of Apulian extra virgin olive oil that instantly makes your mouth water. It's filled with fresh, simple yet flavorful ingredients, and every bite gives you that typical local specialty experience, perfect with a cold beer or while strolling through Polignano's alleys. The staff is very friendly and helpful, always ready to serve you quickly and with a smile. Waiting times are never long, even when the place is crowded, and the service manages the high influx of customers well, without making anyone feel neglected. The prices are reasonable, fair for the quality offered, and absolutely affordable: you can enjoy an excellent panzerotto or focaccia and a beer without spending too much. In short, Fcazz e Birr is the ideal place for those who want to enjoy authentic focaccia from Bari in a casual, quick, and friendly way, perfect for a snack, a break during a stroll, or a summer evening in Polignano. I will definitely return every time I pass by and recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Apulian street food experience.

20/12/2025: Nice but uncomfortable place, a friendly and helpful waitress, somewhat slow service, poorly cooked and mediocre food, and dry meat. Prices are decidedly high given the quality. There are much better options in town.

06/01/2026: We were there this afternoon, a wonderful experience, everything was good, I will gladly return, even the owner's son is a polite boy, the raw meat starter was excellent, all you can eat, cold drinks, I will return.

19/12/2025: Disappointment I'm writing this review during the long wait and while we're at the restaurant so highly praised by the owner on social media. We must say that the all-you-can-eat offerings are good quality, but the wait undoes all the hard work. There's nothing all-you-can-eat about them; it's a fixed-price menu based on the day at €25, excluding drinks and cover charge. We asked for several second courses after the first ones were served, and were told they'd run out. So the all-you-can-eat formula is no longer valid. The wait was excruciating. We personally complained to the owner about the wait, and he explained that there were more than 70 people in the room. We tried it to give it a try, but we won't be returning. Disappointment

02/10/2025: Rude, cold shop assistants, not very inclined to interact with customers, if they think they are beauty queens looking for fashion shows or Prince Charming, perhaps they are in the wrong location, they should be trained to be more kind and refined, the opposite happens when the owner is present in the office
