And all around, Salvatore's discreet and attentive care, capable of transforming a welcome into a gesture of affection. 27/03/2026: I had to change my mind. I returned for an introductory wine course and another introductory cooking course... what can I say? I found a different, welcoming atmosphere, and above all, high quality. An exceptional wine selection, food that truly exceeded expectations, and chef Nicola's helpfulness were truly noteworthy. Now I return often to enjoy moments of taste and well-being, accompanied by friendly and interesting conversations with the owner, who is always ready to advise customers in the best possible way. As they say... never trust just one approach! 🤗🙏 Overrated place. I've been there a couple of times and everything seemed, well, pumped up but lacking in air. The owner was a bit pushy. The staff was average. I won't return.

07/04/2026: This grill restaurant in Locorotondo is very busy... reservations aren't required, but there's usually a good turnover and you don't have to wait long... the atmosphere itself isn't great... the place is a bit rustic, but more of a shabby chic affair than an authentic one. The meat deserves special mention; I had the Angus beef stew, which was truly delicious and delicious... the service also follows the same philosophy as the place and is a bit casual; on the other hand, the prices are very reasonable.

06/04/2026: Wonderful experience. I know this rotisserie well but hadn't been there in a while. I had a pleasant Easter Monday lunch with excellent food and attentive, very relaxed service. The breaded bombette were delicious, and the house red wine paired everything perfectly. I also really appreciated the attention given to my friend, who doesn't eat pork, and the variety of options. I can't wait to go back!

19/04/2026: My friends and I went to Ostrica Ubriaca in Lecce and we were truly impressed. The quality of the fish is excellent: fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully presented in every dish. You can immediately sense the attention to detail in the selection of ingredients and their preparation. Another strong point is definitely the staff: friendly, helpful, and always attentive without being intrusive. They helped make the experience even more enjoyable. A place I absolutely recommend to anyone who loves good fish and attentive service. We'll be back!

02/04/2026: I had two coffees, the price was €2.60, but when I said I was paying by card, the manager charged me €3 (14% more). He overcharged me by 40 cents, but he lost a few coffees, considering he won't see me again, and probably others to whom I'm telling this sad story will prefer a place where the price is fair.

14/04/2026: I love this place; it's not huge, but the food is divine. Simple cuisine, good pizzas, and excellent meat dishes. Always innovative, they always organize different evenings, from karaoke to pizza parties and pizza tours, lunch and dinner menus during holiday events, excellent and truly fair prices. The owners are always available and attentive to their customers' needs. I recommend it 🫰🏻

24/02/2026: A terrible experience at La Vecchia Curte. From the first few minutes, you could feel the total lack of professionalism: confusing organization, inattentive staff, and a less than welcoming attitude. Despite the evening's "pizza tour" theme, the pizzas were always the same, constantly re-presented without any variety. Not to mention that practically nothing arrived at the head of the table, and after several waits, we were forced to specifically request pizzas. Upon request, instead of being offered, I was looked at askance, with an almost challenging expression, as if I was demanding something I wasn't entitled to. A disappointing evening in every way. The only thing that bothered me during the evening was everything... except the pizza. I won't be returning.

29/12/2025: I was their guest with my family on Christmas Day. We had a wonderful time and the food was equally delicious. The location, almost on the rocks of Monopoli...beautiful! I'm leaving this review mainly because I'd like to publicly thank them for not serving me the now-ubiquitous "flying saucer with pigeon poop." Thanks guys!!! A wonderful 2026 to all of you!!
