15/06/2025: I had lunch on Sunday with my family in this restaurant. The food is good quality, the problems were the service and the environment. The place was packed, there were so many diners that it was hard to even go to the bathroom or get up from the chair, because the adjacent tables were at such a distance that the waiters could not even pass and therefore we customers were the ones passing cutlery and plates. Furthermore, due to the large amount of customers, they could not make personalized menus from the kitchen, we had to, for example, choose certain first courses, because in this way we could make the work of the cooks easier (phrase said by the waiter who took the orders). The quantities of appetizers and desserts did not meet our expectations: they were few. In my opinion, there is room for improvement in the service and making the environment more accessible for the customer.

10/06/2025: We went for a business lunch. Never been before. Satisfied is an understatement. Seafood based. Quality raw materials cooked with skill and professionalism. Excellent. Recommended.

14/01/2025: A place where I always come back with pleasure, the grilled meat is really good, from the strips of foal to the sausage, passing through a cut and a stick of picanha, not to mention the excellent wood-fired pizza. A warm and welcoming place with truly trained and very courteous staff, the owner always very kind and helpful. The cost always leaves you satisfied considering the courses ordered. We'll see you again soon at Taverna del Cappio!

13/05/2025: This morning I had 2 pasticciotti, 1 chocolate cream puff and 1 Parigina. The cream puff and the Parigina were hard and dry, clearly at least a couple of days old. People are not stupid: it would have been better not to sell them rather than palm off products like this. Terrible experience, I will not return.

12/05/2025: Prezzi sopra la media, abbiamo pagato 16€ un piatto per due persone con 6 spicchi di formaggio, 2 fette di prosciutto crudo, 4 fette di capocollo (salume), 6 pezzettini di salsiccia secca e 6 fette di salame… Capocollo di maiale crudo, salsiccia e bombette buone ma il prezzo non rispecchia la qualità.

21/04/2025: Pasquetta tra amici per assaporare questo inizio di stagione estiva. Il sole e il caldo hanno fatto da splendida cornice alle nostre quattro chiacchiere in libertà. Buoni gli antipasti e i primi, un po' striminzito l'arrosto di mare, nella frittura i calamari non erano all'altezza degli altri piatti (gommosi, a tratti masticabili a fatica: peccato!). Il vino bianco in caraffa si lascia bere senza il rimpianto di non averlo ordinato in bottiglia. Servizio attento e preciso. Dai, giudizio in definitiva ampiamente positivo, con qualche punto da migliorare in attesa del pienone di luglio e agosto.

15/06/2025: At the time of the review, Hotel Delfino has 2 souls. The renovated part is really well made. The superior rooms are very comfortable, starting from the spaces and the logistical management of the shelves. The bed is very comfortable and the bathrooms are really ok! The ground floor of the hotel is phenomenal, it boasts a wonderful sea view, where you can have a rich breakfast every morning, from savory to sweet. Also worthy of note is the open kitchen, where you can eat really refined and tasty dishes. The dining room staff is professionally trained, friendly and smiling, the same goes for the concierges, who have always proven to be "on the ball". The problem is if you end up in the unrenovated wing by choosing the standard rooms. Avoid them! Unfortunately, the unrenovated wing is really old, and not kept. I prefer not to comment on the carpeting in the corridors and the elevators. The rooms are small and the bathrooms are not in good condition, not to mention the really uncomfortable mattresses. I had the misfortune of staying 2 nights, and everything is made worse by the fact that you have breakfast and any dinners in the beautiful and renovated wing and therefore it makes the situation much worse. Unfortunately, since it was a business trip, they booked us the standard rooms, and once we arrived and saw and tried the rooms, we asked to be moved, and the reception staff did everything they could to move us to the new wing, and luckily succeeded. In short, the Delfino gets full marks for both staff and structure, as long as you stay in the renovated wing. Highly recommended.
