What could be better than visiting a traditional place in the middle of the old town. The food - pasta - was fantastic. The service impeccable. We will be back.

Excellent tavern with real delicacies such as the Martina Franca bombette ordered in double portions (5 each). It's a shame about the wine by the glass which is good but not as excellent as the dishes.

Excellent service, a warm and traditional place. The food was incredible!! We didn't have a reservation...and they got us a table with a very short wait...such a kind gesture!! Highly recommended!! 🤗

The seafood was fresh and tasty. The waiters seem so done with life though, they’re still nice but poor them. The place is always crowded at all times so sometimes there is no table left.

In the heart of Bari Vecchia, a genuine osteria with a generous heart. Good-quality food, simple and unfussy, no effort put into the plating, just a lot of effort into the flavor, all good. The knowledgeable and super friendly staff knows how to make you feel at ease without overdoing it. Prices are a bit high, but still within the norm for the area. The fried fish of the day is spectacular.

The food was good in principle, but not perfect. The tagliata was unfortunately too fatty. The cavatelli ai frutti di mare were very good (the portion was a bit small). I can't recommend the house red wine. The service was prompt and friendly.
We sat inside and were subjected to excessively loud Tears for Fears. Why anyone in Puglia feels the need to assault their guests with such loud music these days is beyond me. Outside, however, the seating was very pleasant.

The very kind waitress took my reservation at 1:00 PM for 1:30 PM, saying the table could be held for 15 minutes.
I arrived at 1:45 PM and the table was still there for me!
We had a wonderful time.
I recommend the orecchiette with turnip greens, stracciatella cheese, and sun-dried tomatoes... SPECIAL.
If I were to return to Bari, I'd know where to eat.
