11/06/2025: Incredible Display of fish great looking restaurant. As we didn’t speak Italian it was tricky to understand and get the best menu advice. Busy so waiters were rushed and under pressure - hopefully the road works outside will be goin by the start of the summer high season. Good luck and hope things go well

08/02/2025: siamo arrivati alle 22.30 quando appunto avevamo prenotato. Ci hanno fatto attendere quasi un ora fuori alla struttura. Il cibo é abbastanza buono però le pizze sono sottili, una volta presa la comanda ci hanno riferito che alcune portate non erano disponibili e ci siamo dovuti accontentare di alcune alternative proposte da loro. praticamente limitati in tutto. la tv non funzionava. abbiamo preso alcune pizze a base piccante ma non lo era così tanto, le pizze erano piene zeppe di farina. posto non molto consigliato…i prezzo sono abbordabili, i bagni non erano molto puliti

30/05/2025: Siamo stati da Blue Eyes e abbiamo mangiato bene. Abbiamo ordinato una carbonara cremosa e saporita, un risotto con i gamberetti e un altro primo piatto di terra che ci ha stupiti per il gusto e la quantità degli ingredienti. Tutti i piatti erano curati nei dettagli, serviti caldi e con porzioni generose. Locale accogliente e ben arredato, con un ottimo equilibrio tra qualità, servizio e prezzo. Torneremo

11/05/2025: We discovered Macchiaviva during a trip to Grottaglie and were really impressed. There were four of us and we had lunch choosing a first course each, accompanied by a fried fish to share and, to conclude, two homemade desserts. Everything lived up to expectations, but the mussels, very fresh and tasty, and the artisanal desserts, which show the passion and care with which they are prepared, deserve a special mention. The dining room staff and the owner family welcomed us with great kindness, demonstrating rare attention not only towards us, but also towards our dog, who was pampered like an honored customer. We will definitely be back!

19/05/2025: So far on vacation I am .500 (2/4) on pizza restaurant choices. Great if you are playing baseball but not if you are shooting free throws or picking Italian pizza restaurants! Botta was highly recommended to us but was a disappointment. The pizza was just average the meal was saved by the draft Petroni!

10/05/2025: When the flu pins you to the sofa, the promise of a hot pizza sounds like a small providence. So, we ordered from Botta, a neighborhood pizzeria, convinced that "fresh and hot" was a sacred commitment. Never was an illusion more fleeting. The Marinara was lukewarm like a ghost's embrace. The “special” Fumè? Judge for yourself: the first photo is the one from the menu on Glovo, the second is what arrived... a jumble of sad cheese and disoriented speck, no smoke, just regret. If you are affected and looking for comfort, perhaps it is better to do without pizza: at least the sofa will not disappoint you.

11/05/2025: Unpretentious restaurant but with well prepared food. Very little choice on the menu but for an informal relaxing lunch or dinner it is perfect. The lady who waits at the tables is particularly effective and operational. I appreciated the very tasty broad beans and chicory and the meat with potatoes. The price is good: around 20 euros (water only). The atmosphere is beautiful with soft lighting (increasingly rare, due to the dazzling cold neon lights of almost all restaurants now...) and authentic, period furnishings. Worth a second visit.

25/05/2025: I really liked the place wedged in the alleys of Oria and with a really particular color of the walls that reminded of the night sky and created a nice contrast with the star vaults. Pleasant evening with friends we consumed a hamburger each and a fried food as an entrée. The service, although appreciable, the effort made by the only waiter present leaves much to be desired as he is clearly a makeshift figure who has some difficulty expressing himself

23/05/2025: Wonderful place in the beautiful historic center of Oria. Refined and welcoming environment. I had the pleasure of tasting one of their hamburgers on the menu and I can only compliment them! Highly recommended place.
