15/12/2025: Japanese restaurant in Poggiofranco. Refined atmosphere. Opted for the AYCE plan. Quality is definitely above average. Very fresh ingredients. Dish selection is a bit outdated with pen and paper. Service was initially slow. Average price.

07/12/2025: Very large venue on multiple levels. Visited for a gathering of 40 people. The dining room was available to us and we were served promptly. The pizza is GOOD.

13/03/2026: I celebrated my birthday here a few days ago. I made a reservation for 9:30 PM, and they only seated us at 10 PM after insisting. The evening was nice; there was music and fun. The problem, however, was that my reservation had been booked outside. It was my first time here, so I didn't know if the outside seating was covered or not, but I assumed that since we booked outside, they'd be certain we'd be indoors in case of bad weather. That wasn't the case. The outside seating is completely uncovered, except for the grills for warming up. Obviously, I think the place should be careful to check the weather before booking outside, as there's no cover. As soon as we were seated, we ordered drinks and a few small bowls in the middle. We'd just had time to drink when it suddenly started pouring down: we were under the rain for a good fifteen minutes, until a waiter came to tell us we'd have to move inside. So, we left everything there—the bowls and drinks, the first half-filled—and went inside. The space was very small because people were standing dancing, but they sat us in the back room, with tables and chairs. In the rush and amidst so many people, I lost the candle I was holding in my hand while rushing to escape the rain, pushed by a waitress who was pushing her way through the crowd. I was very sorry for this inconvenience, because the place is truly worth it; it organizes interesting and fun evenings, the atmosphere is youthful, and the food and cocktails are good too. However, the management left a little to be desired. I must, however, thank the other waiters, who were kind and helpful.

15/02/2026: I went yesterday with my group "It's just us." The place was well-kept and clean, the staff were kind and professional; the evening with the karaoke was lovely; the food was good, highly recommended; and we'll definitely be back.

19/03/2026: The dough is a little heavy, but it's easy to eat. Reservations aren't possible, so you have to go there directly: during the week, it's easy to find a table, but on weekends, it's a bit more difficult and requires a bit of patience. Overall, the experience was positive: we absolutely recommend eating pizza here.

02/03/2026: What can I say? I went there yesterday with a group of family members (apparently it was the reopening day)... it was a real pain. The only thing I can say is that the fish is fresh, but the service and preparation aren't up to par. The first courses are overcooked and the second courses are lousy. The location is very nice, but it's not enough to warrant a high rating. Try again.

05/02/2026: If you want to enjoy fresh, well-prepared seafood in a pleasant seaside setting, Playa del Sol is the place to try. We've been returning for years whenever possible, preferably avoiding weekends because it's always packed! On the coastal road between Giovinazzo and Molfetta, two beautiful villages worth visiting in the province of Bari.

23/01/2026: I went here with my boyfriend on New Year's Eve. There's no fixed New Year's Eve menu; we ordered what we liked from the menu and everything was delicious. The veal rolls with tomato sauce reminded me of Sunday lunches at my grandmother's. Celebrating New Year's Eve at 'Scante was like celebrating at home, thanks to the welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere, the extremely kind and friendly staff, and the authentic flavors of our region. Highly recommended!

10/03/2026: I had dinner at Il Carbonaio and was very satisfied. I tried both the pizza and the pancotto, a typical dish from San Severo, and everything was truly delicious. The pizza was light and well-seasoned, while the pancotto was rich in flavor and prepared according to tradition. The atmosphere was welcoming and the service friendly. Recommended! 😊

25/01/2026: We found this restaurant via the internet. It was a terrible choice... I've never eaten so badly in fifty years. We ordered an appetizer and a first course. The seafood appetizer was supposed to be half hot and half cold... it was all cold and tasted nothing like seafood. The first courses, fregola with seafood and culurgiones (a type of pasta made with sesame seeds) were awful! The fregola tasted like the tempest they use for broth and was so salty that I drank two liters of water overnight. The culurgiones with vegetable charcoal were not worthy of the name! Never again... HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!

28/02/2026: We were visiting some dear friends. They made reservations at La Cueva restaurant, thinking they could order à la carte. When making the reservation, they weren't informed that there would be a set menu that evening. This "oversight" wasn't very pleasant, but the pleasure of sharing an evening with those friends made us tolerate the idea of ​​having to eat what had been prepared and not what we wanted. The quality of the food and its preparation were appreciated. The service was also satisfactory, although more than once the wait staff couldn't describe the ingredients in the dishes they were serving. The sore point: the dessert. None of the group liked it.

09/11/2025: I loved it! I had the fettuccine with purple shrimp: truly delicious, you can taste the local, high-quality ingredients. The homemade desserts are marvelous: I tried a fantastic hazelnut semifreddo, with a meringue base reminiscent of spumone, the local dessert. The staff were kind and patient. Highly recommended!

30/10/2025: Outstanding local specialties in a spacious, appealing, modern setting, all at a reasonable price for fine dining. Gracious host and varied but not overwhelming menu. Opportunity for those with an appetite (2 or more) to choose between land and sea tasting menus comprised of smaller portions of the four land or sea based entrees on the menu. An opportunity to sample the entire repertoire, essentially. Also good for large groups.

26/01/2026: Excellent service, helpful and polite staff. The sandwiches are also delicious: the new smash with potato bun is truly delicious.

26/01/2026: The new buns are soft, light, and not dry at all, yet they hold up well without falling apart after a couple of bites (which isn't always the case). The meat in the smashes is juicy, well-cooked, and flavorful. The new menu is innovative, with top-of-the-line sandwiches and truly delicious wraps, a pleasant alternative to the classic burgers.

30/11/2025: We were there a month ago, we ate very well, I, who am gluten intolerant, ate a pasta s/g with clams which was nothing short of fabulous.

15/11/2025: We were at the restaurant last year and had a wonderful time. For this reason, we decided to return this year, and the experience was once again excellent. The food is very good, delicious dishes of excellent quality, fresh fish carefully prepared by the owner's mother. This time we ate: raw red prawns, octopus, a couple of different pasta dishes, pasticciotto cake, homemade limoncello—all delicious! But what makes the restaurant even more special, besides the little square it overlooks, is the owner's warm welcome, his wife's attentive service, and the professionalism and expertise of the two family members in the dining room, who made us feel at home and ensured a wonderful evening.
