01/12/2025: I don't usually write reviews unless it's deserved...and you deserve it...the facility deserves it, and so do you, Giuseppe, and all the staff who manage this wonderful location. A complete pampering experience, from the welcome to the farewell. The food was exquisite, accompanied by excellent service, where friendliness, kindness, and professionalism were absolutely paramount. It's something you're born with, and you have it! I will consider this location for other events.

11/11/2025: We celebrated my 50th birthday in this welcoming, intimate, and well-appointed location. From the start, the owner, Giuseppe, made us feel at ease, and that's how the day went. The lunch was excellent, as was the service, everything was delicious, beautifully presented, and perfectly timed. My guests were all satisfied, complimenting us on our choice. Thanks to all the staff and Giuseppe; we'll definitely see you again.

18/12/2025: Definitely not recommended. I'll share my experience. At dinner with friends, the waiter dropped the dirty plates and silverware, dropping them down my back and landing between my shoulders and the back of the chair where my jacket was resting. The poor guy, to whom I owe my deepest sympathy, is mortified and unable to find words to express his despair. He reports the incident to the owners, offers to pay for my laundry, and I undress and hand over my sweater and jacket for a laundering attempt, keeping only my (stained) shirt out of modesty and respect for the other diners. At the end of the evening, after I'd duly paid my bill, the owner returned my jacket (which, being waterproof, had been washed as best as possible, but still had small stains) and offered to take my sweater to the dry cleaners. I pointed out that I don't live in that town, and that it would be expensive and tiring to drive back to my hometown, 20 kilometers away, only to return a few days later to pick up the sweater. So I took the sweater back and asked to be reimbursed for the laundry costs only. With a disarming smile, she replied that, next time, they'd certainly reimburse me for the laundry costs, and that I'd return after I'd washed and cleaned everything. There won't be a next time, obviously. I certainly didn't expect them to deduct my fee after presenting me with a bill of €700 (there were 14 of us, so €50 each) and perhaps apologize for the involuntary accident; that would have been a nice gesture. We, being decent people, paid the requested €700, without any discounts. But what makes the difference between professional and disrespectful behavior is that they didn't even dream of not only apologizing, but of simply refunding €17 (SEVENTEEN EUROS), that is, the cost of a luxury laundry for a jacket and a sweater! In return, they charge, as mentioned, €50 for appetizers and a main course of seafood for four people (fresh), cavatelli with seafood and shrimp (frozen), a forkful of assassina, drinks, and dessert. Never again.

29/03/2026: NEGATIVE experience. The appetizer cost €19.00, we ordered two for 4 people, and they were paltry, actually less than paltry. Never again. You go to satisfy your taste buds, not your eyes. The Chianina beef was good. I repeat, never again.

27/03/2026: What does aretè mean? aretè Greek word (ἀρετή) that originally meant the ability of anything, animal or person to *perform its task well*... and there's no doubt about it, but to my regret I didn't find it in this place... a truly welcoming atmosphere with just one flaw... the paintings... they should be a little more careful, given that their shape could cause problems for those with allergies, as they are cushions made of different fabrics... other than that, it's impeccable in style and elegance. Typical Salento food is quite good. I'd give the artisanal ice cream an 8. The noise from the chairs, however, is deafening... I understand that tables need to be rearranged for new diners, but with more grace, possibly on the part of the waiters, by opting for rubber pads under the chairs, which they consider essential to leaving other customers in an atmosphere suitable for enjoying dinner. Would I go back? maybe but this time I would opt for the splendid winter garden outside with furnishings that would take you back in time, fully experiencing a story in today's modernity

26/03/2026: I returned after a while. The fish was cooked well, but the prices were sky-high and the selection was limited.

22/03/2026: Seafood was very fresh. Impressed by the octopus ragu pasta and the grilled prawns. Loved the ceviche too and the mixed fried seafoods were well done. The ordering system was interesting. You have to select your seafoods and dishes at the seafood display before sitting down.

14/11/2025: The dishes always arrive surprisingly quickly. Everything is incredibly fresh and delicious, and the harbor setting adds a unique charm you won't find elsewhere. The portions aren't overwhelming, which allows you to try many different dishes—and that's exactly what makes the experience so fun every time ❤️❤️❤️

08/11/2025: Excellent value for money. First course: fusilli pasta, shrimp, mushrooms, and delicious arugula pesto. The sauce was sublime.

01/01/2026: Superb focaccia from Bari! Service is quite fast and is done by picking up a number at the vending machine. The staff could do with being more welcoming. I've been there twice already, and the ladies aren't exactly the friendliest...
