08/05/2025: A very atmospheric, family pizzeria in the city center. Very nice, efficient and helpful service. The best kind of pizza - finger licking good. For the first time I tried a regional specialty there - paposcia. It was amazing! During our week-long stay in Vieste, we returned there several times with friends. I sincerely recommend it! P.S. On site you can watch football matches on TV, and not only FC Napoli, whose owner Gorgio is a big fan

25/04/2025: We stumbled upon this pizzeria by chance because it was the first one we encountered in Vieste and we were tired from the journey so we didn't want to walk especially in bad weather. Although personally I was expecting Neapolitan pizza given the name, all in all we ate well, perhaps I would have preferred a slightly softer dough. Fair prices. Overall 4 stars so I recommend it

08/06/2025: I understand the good reviews, it is part of the customers and I believe regulars, but we were unlucky because we ate a frozen seafood salad, dated and full of pickles, inedible and a pasta with fresh tomato that had nothing fresh, it was full of sauce, sour as hell, placed on the table rudely. I think I made an enemy of the owner for complaining about the air conditioning directed at our table. We paid a lot and without controversy we left.

02/06/2025: The beginning seemed promising; informal and friendly waitress. As for the food, some were good, others were passable. But what was most annoying was the reaction of the same waitress when we pointed out to her that she had made a mistake in the bill. She got nervous and even acted funny by asking us if we were part of the Revenue Agency. She should have simply apologized and despite this we left her a tip.

02/06/2025: Informal but definitely nice and clean place. Helpful, polite and attentive staff. Quality food as well as beers and wine list. We arrived well in advance but they still made us sit with kindness and cordiality. Simple but tasty cuisine. There are ready-made menus but you can easily choose from the menu. There is also pizza and "spaccata" one of their specialties. Tasty land or sea dishes. The owners including Giuseppe are attentive to the needs of the customers, and the staff is equally valid. Prices are normal. It is advisable to book, I recommend it and we will be back. Open for lunch and dinner.

01/06/2025: Leaving satisfied from a restaurant where you have never been before already makes you understand how excellent it was to eat in this restaurant. I start by saying the kindness of the waiters, all very good, fast and kind ... Large place and you really feel great, appetizer offered by the house good bruschetta exquisite with quality extra virgin olive oil! First course you can see from the photos that do not lie, abundant and tasty dish until the last forkful (I was already super full from the first course) I who love fried food I could not help but choose hot mixed fried food you can see that it was made on the spot, fresh and quality fish with a side of potatoes for my son with French fries. I recommend it from the heart ❤️ Well done to all the guys who do their job with love and professionalism!

01/06/2025: Vale la pena di andarci per godere dei sapori del loro menu preparato in modo sapiente a prezzi convenienti rispetto a molti locali , in un locale molto bello e tradizionale, cin personale gentile e cordiale che addirittura si ricorda delle precedenti scelte di cena e pranzo per proporre altre loro specialità. Vale la pena di fermarsi ad Altamura anche solo per provare i loro menu

26/05/2025: Very good and honest food. Unpretentious atmosphere. Prices are affordable and dishes are composed in such a way that you want to come back and try other items from the menu. I definitely recommend it. This osteria stands out with its taste among other places in Puglia.

19/04/2025: Locale molto bello e caratteristico, situato nel centro storico di San Giovanni rotondo. Il titolare è gentilissimo e si percepisce sin da subito che ama il proprio lavoro. Anche la ragazza che serve ai tavoli è gentilissima. Tutti i piatti vengono preparati al momento e devo dire che in questi giorni di permanenza a San Giovanni Rotondo, oggi ho mangiato le migliori orecchiette alla cime di rape. Anche tutte le altre pietanze servite ci sono piaciute molto. Le porzioni sono abbondanti e gli ingredienti utilizzati sono freschi e di qualità. I prezzi sono ottimi e pagare l'acqua 1 euro e il coperto 1 euro fa capire l'onestà del titolare. Consiglio assolutamente di provare questo ristorante.

Honest prices and generous portions..A must for those visiting the Pearl of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Highly recommended!

11/06/2025: VERY BAD experience. The asino was nice and tender. The food was otherwise okay, not very special if you come to Puglia more often. BUT The owner of this place pretends to be nice but then charges prices according to his own wishes that are not on the menu. He rips you off and if you say something about it he SHOUTS you out of the place. Very rude to insult my girlfriend like that. I have NEVER been treated so badly in a restaurant. We were SCAMMED and charged more than €30,- too much. No answer when we asked for the bill or if we could receive the correct bill or get the amount already paid too much back. Our friends were chased out of the place while screaming. We were still sitting outside on the "terrace". Even the staff stood quietly watching and the rest of the restaurant was surprised at what was going on and why the "friendly" owner was suddenly shouting so much. Never experienced anything like this before. Really a very disgusting experience.

10/06/2025: We have been coming to Osteria Guiseppe for years to our complete satisfaction. Delicious local food for a fair price. The informal character, such as the menu on the chalkboard and the owner with a warm heart for the business and for his customers, contribute to the pleasant atmosphere of this small osteria for us. In the past few weeks we have eaten delicious antipasto, braciole and tiramisu here again. Our favorite in Ceglie❤️.
