Nonna Maria In Noicattaro

I happened to be in Noicattaro, so I relied on Google to find a place to eat, and it recommended this lovely restaurant with excellent staff and an excellent owner. The food was delicious, and they recommended it. What can I say? Visit it and eat at Nonna Maria's.

An absolute highlight in Rutigliano! We spent a wonderful evening here. The atmosphere is wonderfully relaxed, and the service is incredibly warm and attentive without being intrusive. Our absolute favorite was the spaghetti all'Assassina – it was perfectly cooked, deliciously spicy, and exactly as crispy as it should be in Puglia. You can taste the love for traditional cuisine in every bite. We felt completely at ease and will definitely be back on our next visit to the region! Be sure to ask for Pino, who speaks excellent English.

The space is very spacious and often crowded. The food quality isn't bad at all, and the informal approach helps you feel at ease. However, the service could perhaps be improved. In any case, it remains a long-standing staple in Noicattaro. We always want to return. The quality-price ratio is also very good.

For lunch on a Friday, I chose to stop at this pizzeria-trattoria. Four well-deserved stars. On a scale of one to ten, an eight and a half. I'll briefly explain the reasons behind the things that convinced me to rate it positively. Tablecloths: finally, some places are sticking to the habit of having decent tablecloths and not American-style place settings or, even worse, paper tablecloths. Customer service. Bread and a few welcome appetizers. All pleasant, justifying the modest cover charge. Then the dishes were to my liking. Seafood cavatelli, spaghetti with eggplant and tuna and mashed potatoes, and a small sample of pasta all'assassina. Price was reasonable. I'd be curious to try the pizza: the boxes look large... Who knows. I think the photos I posted are indicative.

I had dinner at this restaurant and was impressed by the quality. The fish was incredibly fresh, especially the raw fish appetizer. The pizza? Simply exceptional: light dough, perfect crust, and top-quality ingredients. The staff was extremely kind, attentive, and quick with service, despite the restaurant being busy. The atmosphere was welcoming, ideal for both couples and groups. Excellent value. I will definitely be back, highly recommended.
