Incredible family run restaurant- great food by great people. Deliciously authentic and humble, this restaurant should be a priority in Lecce. The half and half chickpea pasta and the chicken were highlights. The family even let us go through their record collection and play a few, which was very special. We were lucky to walk in and get a table so make sure to book if you can.

This restaurant is simply amazing. It is the most beautiful combination of family-style warmth and comfort, paired with top-level cooking. The signature dish of pasta with chickpeas took our breath away. And to eat at a restaurant that has several generations worth of knowledge and love is such a treasure. To make it all even more perfect, there is a wonderful record player in the corner!

They serve traditional Puglian home made food. The meals are very delicious and the space is quite authentic. We had two dinners there and can recommend it 100%. It is best to make a reservation prior to visiting. If there is no dedicated table, you can ask of there are spots on the big table which is shared by several guests.

Truly a "hidden "gem. Regional dishes that really taste like homemade. The four of us had a different meal each and all of them were simple but really good. We were very pleased. Reservations recommended but not necessary. May be tricky to get through over the phone but they do exist. 100% recommended!

I called up at 7pm and they were able to accommodate us for an 8pm res on a Saturday. The place was packed but the staff were extremely helpful and on point. More importantly the food was amazing. You can tell it’s family owned and a lot of love goes into the food and service. It felt like eating at home. We had our very jet lagged 2 year old with us and everyone was very kind with him and welcoming. Please go here and don’t ask yourself twice. The food is amazing and the people are as well. I wish I could return regularly.

We were on the hunt for traditional good food in Lecce and we were not disappointed! We shared 3 of the traditional dishes and they were all delicious… the best meal we had during our trip. I will be dreaming of the aubergine pasta. Service was fabulous and it was really exceptional value. We will be back!

03/11/2025: Nice place. There are a few rooms where you can get coffee and food. When I went, one room was celebrating a birthday, while other groups were there just to have a quiet, cheerful drink.
13/10/2025: Very nice place, quite unexpected. We went there based on the reviews about the pasticciotta, but we were happy to sit and drink coffee. Thank you!
