03/09/2025: We had both pizza and grilled meat. The pizza was good and easy to digest, and the meat was perfectly cooked and tender (which, being horse meat, isn't a given).

23/08/2025: On a hot, sultry evening, my group of friends and I decided to come and eat at this inn in the heart of Salento. We arrived at the location, punctual as Swiss clocks, ready to eat and savor delicious dishes. We chatted about getting a reserved table and waited, then waited, and waited...and waited...and wait, and wait again, and wait for an hour and a quarter. We waited the entire time, standing outside the door, sweating with the "faugno squajato" of an August evening. The clock struck 11:15 PM and they sat us down. They pretended nothing was happening, but our anger and dissatisfaction were already high. We sat down, tried to order, and were told we couldn't order half the dishes because they were sold out or the kitchen was starting to die. We settled for pizzas, which were good, but our taste buds were clouded by the already-determined reasons. The service left us dissatisfied; no apology from the management, much less any freebies to calm our nerves. We were disheartened and wondered why this affront and why us, we wondered why they made us book if there was no room. We try to forget, but the rush is so intense. The drinks arrive; we ask for Coca-Cola Zeros, but they arrive plain without any explanation; we ask for beers, but they arrive in installments and piping hot. Applause for the quick and delicious pizzas, both the dough and the toppings. At the end, a surprise: they offer us amaro. It wasn't enough, but we make do. In conclusion, it's a good place to eat, but I warn you: book at your own risk; the owners like to hype up the place and have people line up under the faugno. Kisses, kisses🌟🌟

Upon entering, you'll be mesmerized by the wonderful chocolate cascade and countless delicacies, including specialty coffees, various vegan and non-vegan cakes, and a wide selection of gelato flavors. I was particularly thrilled by the chocolate flavors, created freshly in the open laboratory, and the unique selection of fillings. A guaranteed experience, not to be missed if you're visiting Lecce!!!

A word of caution: the sliced ​​steak was overcooked on the outside, with a slightly bitter grill flavor, while the inside was almost cold, which is a negative for a grill restaurant. 04/10/2025: We felt completely at home at Masseria Palombara — it was a true reprieve, and we felt deeply cared for even though there was a little difficulty during check in. Everything was smoothed out in a short amount of time. The grounds are stunning and have a magical, peaceful quality that immediately puts you at ease. Our cooking class was a highlight — we learned to make orecchiette, a local eggplant dish, and tiramisu, and even made new friends along the way. Chef Fouzia and her wonderful assistant Mesi were so warm, patient, and engaging. Francesca, the manager, was incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring every detail of our stay was perfect. The entire staff went above and beyond — Ishmael was always smiling and ready with excellent local recommendations, and Pasquale made the best Old Fashioned I’ve ever had. The hammam felt otherworldly, and our massages left us feeling renewed and deeply relaxed. We’re so grateful for their hospitality and can’t recommend this place enough — truly a 10/10 experience in every way.

28/09/2025: I had an amazing stay at Massera Palombara. It was a truly high end and personalized experience. The atmosphere was serene and relaxing, the perfect setting to disconnect and enjoy. Francesca was absolutely lovely, attentive and warm, making everything feel effortless and tailored. The dinner staff, especially Fabio, went above and beyond. His service and attention to detail made every meal exceptional. Everything from the ambiance to the hospitality was outstanding. I recommend Massera Palombara for anyone looking for the best welcoming retreat.

07/09/2025: Last night my family and I went to eat at this place. We had four different pizzas, one of which was gluten-free. Everything was excellent...the gluten-free pizza dough was excellent...the staff were very friendly...the location was perfect...thanks for the evening, we had a great time.
