22/03/2025: A place I found somewhat by chance on Google because I was looking for a nice place where I could dine on fish and the famous Apulian raw fish. I must say it is not in the center of Monopoli, in fact it is among the famous, somewhat isolated streets which are always typical of Puglia. But let's get to us. The place is really very characteristic, clean, welcoming, well kept. The staff is very kind, helpful, very polite and prepared. The menu is quite rich and varied. Obviously I took the raw ones which I must say were very good. A few various starters and everything really good, fresh and well cooked. For the former it was really difficult to choose because they were all more particular than the other. In the end we opted for a pacchero with chickpea cream, clams and crab... delicious and very special... and the orecchiette with tuna, cherry tomato and flaked almonds... also very good. The fish felt fresh. High quality. Paid 117 euros in total and for how we ate and for the overall quality, location, goodness... money well spent.

06/04/2025: Last night we booked a table for 6 for 11pm. I'm not complaining about the wait, the service, the delay, etc. because the place was very full. But this place has a certain fame and is known by everyone for the quality of the pizza and honestly, since it was our first time, we expected this... the pizza was really heavy, chewy and difficult to cut... It left us feeling sick...even the table behind us complained the same thing, many of my friends didn't even finish it. Not to mention the fact that one of us had ordered a pizza with crunchy dough... which needless to say... wasn't crunchy at all. We were certainly unlucky... and I want to believe that by that time the dough was finished. But in any case it is not an excuse... a place like this cannot afford certain slip-ups on a Saturday evening... and then please SPECIFY THAT THERE IS MINT IN THE PISTACHIO DESSERT. At least one avoids spending money on something he won't eat... I'm sorry... first and last time, it's not possible that to eat well one has to hope to catch the right evening or time. Rather close earlier in the evening

05/11/2024: I can only review the restaurant as we were there for dinner only. I had seen a lot about this place in social media so at first I was sceptical as the instagrammable places usually end up being disappointing BUT Masseria Salamina absolutely met and exceeded all expectations! The pasta was done to perfection and the fish (according to my boyfriend) was perfectly tender. And of course how can I miss the stunning atmosphere in the courtyard- spectacular! We would love to come back and stay overnight!

01/11/2024: There really aren't enough words to describe how magical it is to spend time at Masseria Salamina. My husband and I got married here in September 2024 and it was truly a 10000/10 experience from start to finish. Incredible place and people, we have only wonderful things to say about the venue, owners Chiara/Filippo, and the entire staff. We stayed here in April 2024 as well just to see the venue and they treated us like family; our wedding guests echoed the same and many are eager to return. The food is phenomenal and perhaps even in the top five for all of Puglia. If you're looking for a vacation or wedding venue that's truly a jewel, this is it.

21/12/2024: I have visited and tried many pizzerias, from the most renowned and award-winning to those that are not. I want to express my personal opinion and subjective taste. The first thing I noticed was that, although there is always a coming and going of people, I have never, and I mean never, waited beyond the booked time, a maximum of 5 minutes, no more. The staff never lacks professionalism, always available, kind and at home. However, the thing that struck me the most, to the point of traveling over 10 km for a takeaway, was the quality of the raw materials, the lightness/digestibility and the consistency over time in always maintaining the same flavor and taste of the pizza. One of the best pizzas I've tried so far. Well done

21/01/2025: Gioiello culinario incastonato nel centro di Brindisi. La Sig.ra Monica una fuoriclasse tra I fornelli. Rocco maestro nell intrattenimento e nel servizio ai tavoli. Sarebbe un sacrilegio non gustare la cucina tipica brindisina alla trattoria LA BRASCIOLA !!! Grazie ragazzi

30/03/2025: Finally a farm where you can eat really well, with the flavors and abundance that are no longer found, all of their own production, I had never eaten mortadella like this, the mozzarella made in the room by the cheesemaker and offered while still warm are a heritage of humanity, in the mixed roast the various flavors can be clearly distinguished, among the desserts the chocolate and biscuit roll with an ice cream center is a real delicacy. The rooms are very nice and the service is friendly and professional. Everything is very clean, even the bathrooms and this detail is not a small one and is usually overlooked. I forgot the absolutely winning cost: €35 for a lunch full of hot and cold appetizers, crudités, a first course, a second course, side dish, desserts, unlimited drinks, coffee and liqueur (in a basket they bring limoncello, cherry and amaro to the table, and you can help yourself as and as much as you want). If I could, instead of 5 stars, I would give 10

Apart from the place, nothing nice, but in addition to paying a lot based on what we ate of poor quality, but by checking the receipt he had credited us with an extra bottle of wine (cost €18) plus a first course never consumed. 14/02/2025: Siamo andati a festeggiare di coppia per la cena di San Valentino, abbiamo visto il menù con dei piatti molto accattivanti e abbiamo deciso di prenotare con largo anticipo, consapevoli che qui i tavoli vengono prenotati subito. Dall’antipasto al dolce tutto veramente molto abbondante, con le stesse portate avrebbero mangiato in 4 persone! Oltre che al prezzo economico! Cibo cucinato in modo bello casereccio come piace a noi, sapori di tradizione pugliese, cucinati in famiglia! Personale gentilissimo, accogliente e super attento alle esigenze. Che dire se vuoi trovare tradizione culinaria e abbondanza in un angolo della bellissima Grottaglie, con un aria di Casa, ti consiglio di venire a mangiare all’Nchianata.
