It starts with a smile in the morning from Federica. She's such a friendly and helpful person. Simply wonderful. Then Philipo shows you to your lounger and is always there if you need anything. This is pure vacation. 😍😎😍

22/02/2025: Barletta, February 21, 2025 – Last Friday, former students of Section B of the Barletta State Industrial Technical Institute, who attended the school between 1976 and 1981, gathered for a reunion. This brought together 17 former classmates, now adults, with diverse backgrounds and life paths, yet united by a common thread: youthful memories and shared experiences at school. The event, organized with great enthusiasm by a group of former students, took place at the restaurant "Il fornaio dei mulini vecchi," a place where the dinner was wonderful, and I extend my heartfelt thanks for their hospitality and splendid organization. Everyone who attended was delighted and visibly appreciative. This contributed to creating a magical atmosphere, already charged with emotion, with warm hugs and smiles lighting up the faces of those who hadn't seen each other for decades.

03/08/2025: We stopped for lunch and were very satisfied. The dishes were very good and really fresh. The zucchini flowers❣️At the end of the meal, the chocolate salami accompanied by their homemade limoncello was excellent 🥰 Welcoming and clean atmosphere, the polite, friendly and knowledgeable staff.

03/05/2025: I'm sorry to have to leave a negative review, but the experience at this beach was disappointing in several respects. Prices not very transparent: Although I asked for a quote, the prices were not clearly displayed and I had the impression that they were set arbitrarily based on the customer. This is unacceptable for a business open to the public. Incomplete information: During the estimate phase, I was not informed that the umbrella would be placed on the lawn, away from the sea. Furthermore, the daily cost of 50 euros is excessive to say the least, even considering that it was August. Bad weather management: During some days of severe bad weather, the situation was managed in an unorganized manner. There was no presence from management to reassure or assist customers, leaving them completely to their own devices at a difficult time. No attention to customers: In the midst of the chaos, management did not show thoughtfulness or offer initiatives to put customers at ease, such as a small gift or a temporary solution to ease the inconvenience. In conclusion, this experience left an extremely negative impression. I would advise the management to improve both price transparency and emergency management to offer a more adequate and respectful service for guests.

27/04/2025: Sono sempre stata in questa pizzeria di persona ma questa volta ho ordinato tramite la loro app (fatta davvero bene) delle pizze e patatine a domicilio, arrivate in perfetto orario e ancora calde fumanti. La qualità dei prodotti è sempre ottima.

25/07/2025: We ordered appetizers as an aperitif and then octopus and a pinsa as a main course with 2 drinks. We first received only one of the 2 drinks and the octopus (which was burnt), a quarter of an hour later we had the antipasto and we had to ask for the pinsa and the coke which we received more than half an hour after the rest. Nice to eat each in turn... Yet they were not overwhelmed, there was barely half a restaurant full. When it came to paying the bill I was made to wait a quarter of an hour at the cash register because it is more important to sell their products than to take care of their customers. When I asked for the receipt of my bill for which I had to insist, only the total was written, no details so we had to trust them. Disappointed in every way.

12/08/2025: Mediocre experience. We waited two hours for a pizza and almost an hour for a portion of fries. I had arrived expecting a restaurant-style dish, but the menu selection was so limited that I declined. My pizza, made with a multigrain dough and raw ingredients, was an undercooked cracker with poor-quality buffalo mozzarella and cherry tomatoes cut into tiny pieces that had lost all their freshness. In the end, I didn't order dessert given the situation. A small detail not to be overlooked: the kitchen is far from the tables, and the food is delivered on a cart that crosses the sidewalk. What can I say: if you're tired of the restaurant business, retire.

09/08/2025: The crusty pizza is overall a pleasant choice for those who love very thin crust pizzas. The atmosphere is pleasant on the outside but vintage on the inside.

06/08/2025: Carina la location, piccola ma molto accogliente, in veranda si sta benissimo con un fresco naturale. Servizio puntuale, educato e professionale. Le comandi le prende il titolare che sapientemente consiglia. Ottimi e freschissimi i frutti di mare, le tartare e lo sfilettato di pesce fresco. Buona scelta dei primi e validissima ,tutto nelle giuste proporzioni. Vari i secondi di mare ho gustato la grigliata mista di mare. Il costo onestissimo in linea con l'ottima qualità. Molta attenzione per chi soffre di intolleranze. Dovremo tornarci lo merita.

24/07/2025: The food was very good, the two of us shared a starter, a first course, a second course, a side dish and a dessert, a bottle of water and 1/2 litre of wine, coffee was offered to us, we spent €71.00

02/08/2025: We were missing Asian food and the kids needed a sushi fix! We literally devoured a wide range of handrolls, sashimi, gyoza, and nigiri. Notable were the tempura prawns with a very nice tasting batter. The prawn crackers were unexpected for a Japanese restaurant but appreciated. We also noticed other pan Asian dishes like pad Thai on the menu. You order through an ipad at the table, which took a while for 3 adults and 3 kids, but you can add items as you go and submit them to the kitchen to cook. No paper menus or online available to look at so you go one at a time. Theres an option for all carte or all you can eat. Worth doing a quick calculation prior as sushi can be $$$ in Italy.

14/07/2025: An excellent restaurant worth trying as an alternative to the overpriced restaurants in Ostuni... The 13-course appetizer menu is worth the trip. Thank you and see you soon, Stefania and Franco 🙏🏼 Updating the review a year later... We returned with great enthusiasm, having seen the previous visit. It's a shame, disappointed by how things can change. Maybe it was the wrong night (perhaps Saturday, when there were more people, who knows). Whatever the case, it's a shame we weren't served by Cristian again (who, I must say, hasn't changed; his attentiveness and kindness in serving the tables remains the same). Unfortunately, the waitress who served us was inattentive, almost annoyed (it's unthinkable to tell a customer to clear a plate, thus freeing up space at the table and making customers anxious), just as you can't force them to choose whether to order a first or second course after the appetizers because there are too many people and they have to choose quickly. The same goes for the owner (the other brother, the tall guy): he piled the plates on top of each other because there was little room on the table, asked if everything was okay, without even looking at you, and in the meantime talked to the waitress, conveyed the anxiety of the evening, made you understand that you had to leave the table after half an hour of being seated, and then, in short, huge inconveniences. I'm sorry, I understand everyone's difficulties, but this time it was truly awful, even the food was scarce, poorly served, and the quality deteriorated. I'm sorry, but that's how it went. Perhaps, I repeat, Saturday isn't the best; better during the week, perhaps it's quieter and everything changes.

16/05/2025: Breakfast at Bar Nepenta, we arrived late in the morning and there was little choice. However, what we had was good, the staff very kind and polite. Very welcoming outdoor space. Prices normal for a bar in Ostuni, in fact much cheaper than others.
