28/02/2026: Lunch at @profumodipane.lecce, traditional cuisine. We sat outside. Simple place, great service, they are very attentive and fast. We ordered: Lasagna and Taieddha (rice, zucchini, potatoes, mussels), delicious dishes. Dessert: Tartufo Nero (Gianduia ice cream with eggnog and dark chocolate). We finished with coffee, of course. 21/02/2026: The weather was quite nice and warm that day, so we walked around looking for a place to sit outside for lunch with a nice atmosphere, and this place was perfect.

08/03/2026: We stopped by for lunch, right in front of the docked boats, and found ourselves welcomed into this lovely little restaurant by the sea! The simplicity and professionalism of the wait staff combine to create a simple and tasty food and wine menu... And how could we not mention the fried fish and the susumaniello! Thanks to Marika and the rest of the team for their hospitality! Recommended.

02/02/2026: A pleasant surprise! We were lucky enough to find a table on a Sunday by calling that morning, and without much notice, the lady managed to prepare a menu with truly excellent gluten-free options! Fritters, focaccia, fried eggplant rolls, and even the ricotta dessert to finish—all the same as the standard menu, but gluten-free! Absolutely wonderful! We'll definitely be back.

11/11/2025: Great spot with a sea view, offering good wine and a delicious charcuterie board featuring their selection of cheeses, cold cuts, and pinsa (my favorite!). Perfect for catching up with friends or simply enjoying the sunset.

23/11/2025: The main courses took longer than expected, but it was worth the wait. We ordered spaghetti carbonara and spaghetti aglio, oleo e peperoncino, and the main courses were especially delicious. However, the mixed fried appetizer was disappointing. The only good thing about it was the fries. But as I said, the pasta was very good. It seems like a casual eatery or a roadside bar, one of those places with a set menu in Spain. They had a lot of variety, and it seemed like the same people frequented it, like a trusted local spot.

15/03/2026: A little gem in Brindisi: Grano e Uva ​If you're looking for the usual thin, "sad" pizza, you're in the wrong place. At Grano e Uva, pizza is an experience that reconnects you with the world. ​Why you should go: ​The dough is the real star: Nuvola, light, and easy to digest. You can taste the obsessive attention to flour and leavening. You don't end your dinner feeling infinitely heavy, which is a miracle. ​Outstanding ingredients: Forget the standard "cooked ham." Here you'll find Slow Food Presidia, exquisite cured meats, and pairings that will make you wonder, "How did they even think of that?" The combination of Apulian flavors and creativity is spot on. ​The atmosphere: The place is refined without being pretentious. There's the warmth typical of someone who loves what they do. The staff is friendly, quick enough, and always ready to recommend the perfect pairing with a good glass of wine (or a craft beer). ​My recommendation: ​Definitely try their specialty pizzas, where the ingredients are added raw right out of the oven. That's when you realize the incredible quality of the ingredients. ​In short: One of the best pizzerias in Brindisi, period. If you're in the area, it's a must-see.

03/02/2026: Small but well-decorated. The pizza was excellent, with a light dough and very good toppings, made with top-quality ingredients. I had a Brontese pizza, loaded with mortadella, fresh and fragrant. The service was also excellent, quite fast, considering it was a Saturday night and there were also takeout customers. I'll be back to try their other specialties.

07/04/2026: Easter Monday lunch spent with friends at this restaurant and wine bar in the center of Cisternino. Located just outside the more touristy historic center, the restaurant is well-maintained, with a relaxing atmosphere and welcoming, helpful staff. Dishes are well-crafted and unique, made with quality ingredients. All accompanied by good wine, with knowledgeable staff helping you choose. The menu was à la carte. We ordered a few appetizers, three very good first courses (ravioli stuffed with lamb, Taleggio cheese fondue, and truffle shavings; spaghetti with anchovies and oranges; and strascinate with rabbit ragù, bacon, and cardoncelli mushrooms). We then moved on to the second courses: a beef stew to share and three tender, distinctively flavored, slow-cooked pork fillets. We finished with a dessert not included in the menu: a pear frangipane with chocolate ice cream. Around €75 per person. Medium-high priced, but worth it. If you happen to be in the area, give it a try.

14/12/2025: The staff are truly helpful and friendly, always attentive to their customers. One aspect I really appreciated was the care and respect they show towards the local cats and strays, a beautiful gesture that speaks volumes about the people who work there. The food is simply excellent, far above average in quality, with carefully selected ingredients and exquisite flavors. The prices are slightly higher than average, but absolutely justified by the quality offered. The only caveats: parking is quite difficult to find, and the place is small, so it's not always convenient for long stays. Overall, though, I highly recommend it!
