Osteria La Canottieri In Verbania

14/06/2026: We ate there as a couple. We had reserved a specific table, but it was occupied when we arrived. Nevertheless, we were given a lovely table in the front row overlooking the lake. We each ordered an Aperol Spritz and a liter of rosé wine with our meal. We also ordered an appetizer, as Italian dishes are usually not very generous. Then everything arrived at once: the Aperol Spritz, the wine, the appetizer, and the main course. The food was good; an appetizer wasn't really necessary. But what's the point? It's not exactly a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. Are they trying to get rid of their guests as quickly as possible? Otherwise, everything was fine: the value for money, the location, and the service. But we've found a different restaurant for the next few evenings.

02/06/2026: The food arrived very quickly. There's a beautiful view of the lake. There are several vegetarian options; the vegetable lasagna was delicious!
