I booked ahead because I knew I'd be there that day, and the lady was kind enough. Then, the same day, due to my delay on my return journey, I called the restaurant again to ask if I could wait an hour longer than I had booked. They also promptly said no problem. Kudos to you for your patience. We sat down, ordered, and what can I say? The dishes were plentiful and the prices were excellent. The polenta was exceptional, so much so that I complimented the owner. "The polenta tasted like polenta." You could tell it was made over a wood fire! The desserts were also very good. I'll definitely be back.

Strategically located near the lake, so the view outside is spectacular. Very quaint, fast, and they try to find a solution so as not to drive people away. Good food, the only flaw being the polenta dishes, they could use just a drizzle more polenta. Quick, and reasonably priced. Polenta and venison are a must-try. The desserts are delicious, simple and not too sweet, so they don't make me sick.

10/04/2026: Refined and exquisite dishes and a fabulous location. Great credit to the highly trained and efficient staff, especially the maitre d' who served us.
27/10/2025: Had dinner our first evening in Baveno…we were staying at the Hotel Dino for a conference. My daughter and I didn’t have high expectations but were rather prioritizing the convenience! We were pleasantly surprised. We were warmly greeted and had immediate service. It was quiet as it was early by European dining standards at 7pm but over the course of our dinner filled in. We had an attentive and yummy experience. We ended the evening with their delicious tiramisu…we would return our final evening to have this dessert again!
