14/12/2025: This restaurant enjoys a beautiful location in the historic center of Orta San Giulio. The food is of average to low quality, especially the cured meats on the platter, which were very industrial and cheap. The carbonara was also poor quality. The pork shank, however, was very good. The price is high for the quality.

11/10/2025: Terrible food, improvised and unprepared service. Bland and tasteless dishes, absolutely to be avoided.

26/10/2025: The manager was very kind, the food was very good and of good quality, we hope to return!

14/09/2025: Friendly, but that's all they have! The bathroom is filthy with no running water, and the countertop screens are pointless if everything else is just a wandering germ, making the place look even dirtier and gloomy.

19/10/2025: very long waiting times, 1 hour late, pizza barely edible, rubbery and with a burnt taste... no comment, I will never go back there

04/09/2025: We've ordered takeout pizzas from them several times, often with the wrong ingredients (e.g., cooked ham instead of raw ham), but we ignored them and gave them other options. The last time, however, the pizzas arrived after several calls, an hour late, with the excuse that delivery drivers were late. As I said on the phone, for your own sake and that of your customers, don't accept too many orders, especially on weekends, if you get confused. I say this with the knowledge of someone who has worked in the industry. Also, considering that you take orders from various platforms, and certainly also by phone, it's normal for these things to happen. We won't order from you again, but I advise you to organize yourselves better.

18/11/2025: If I could give this place 0 stars, it would still be too many for this place. The two male waiters/managers were rude and ignorant the entire evening. I don't understand how they can do this job, unless they think they enjoy treating people badly. After being ignored and treated condescendingly all evening, when it came to the bill they even allowed themselves to "joke" with jokes in terrible taste. They approached our only male friend (out of about ten people, all women) and asked him if he was out with his harem. Sexist, inappropriate, and decidedly unpleasant jokes. Mesogynistic attitude. If you don't know how to work with people—or don't enjoy it—change your career! Along with all this, the food was also mediocre. In my opinion, they're only still open because of their strategic location. Highly not recommended!

15/11/2025: If you like spending 50 euros on questionable canned food, having two glasses of wine taken away before you're finished, and being treated like farmyard animals... this is the perfect place 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Congratulations to the owners for their courage 🤦🤦🤦 That's why, out of about ten places in the square, it was the only empty one 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

03/07/2025: I grabbed two pieces of pizza for lunch, a small place, the pizza was average and a bit expensive: 7.90 for two pieces of margherita...

19/03/2025: Bad choice! Purchased some sweets for Father's Day, assuming they were fresh that day, given the festive occasion. Wrong...terrible! The maritozzi with cream were dry as if they had been in the fridge for three days; the raspberry tart was soft and moist inside, as always happens when you keep it in the fridge for several days, even with the raspberries melted by the humidity. Almost double the normal market price. An experience not to be repeated!

26/11/2025: Nice place with a beautiful outdoor terrace, where I drank good coffee served by friendly staff.

22/10/2025: I always go to this bar because it's conveniently located in the area, and it's nice that it's open 24/7. Unfortunately, it's frequented by the wrong crowd and is always dirty. Its biggest flaw: the bartenders. They're hiring more and more young women who focus more on chatting than on service. Lately, in the evenings, there's always a girl with wavy black hair and glasses: she doesn't serve tables, even though she pays 0.50 cents extra. Furthermore, we sat for quite a while, ordering various items, and each time, we were charged a 0.50 cent service fee, which is unacceptable, without ever giving us a receipt. She's rude and impolite. I recommend reviewing the bartenders; the place is very nice, but it's a shame.

05/10/2025: We stopped by for a quick bite to eat, and ended up paying €19 for two ham and cheese focaccias, similar to a roadside restaurant, two coffees, and tap water! We had fond memories of the previous management, but we definitely won't be returning.

03/09/2025: The new management is terrible. They have a unique way of doing business: We rented a via ferrata kit, we returned it without a problem, and 10 minutes later they called us saying, "Oops, what the hell!" the heat sink was damaged. We went back and explained clearly that it had already been like that that morning, but nothing: they basically forced us to pay €50 for damage we never caused. Inappropriate and unprofessional behavior. Kudos to you for your cleverness: more than a rental, it seems like a way to fleece customers. If you want to waste money, go ahead. Otherwise, stay away, because the only risk here isn't the via ferrata... but the bill.

16/09/2025: Nice staff, food is okay compared to the price.

13/09/2025: It was Saturday lunchtime and the place was empty. The dishes were decent except for the baked potatoes which were a little overcooked and "a little burnt". I would say that €20 for this service was a little above my expectations.

02/07/2025: Siamo passati da Vercelli per vedere un cliente proprio vicino alla trattoria. Abbiamo chiesto se potessimo avere il menù fisso e la risposta è stata: “è riservato a chi ha la partita iva e de operaio, ma io ho precisato se siamo dei lavoratori commercianti?” Risposta: “penso di sì devo chiedere….” Abbiamo preso un primo e un secondo con un contorno, ovviamente alla cassa non siamo risultati operai ma lavoratori di un’altra categoria, abbiamo pagato a parte anche il contorno, e richiesta la fattura. Per avere il menù fisso non basta essere lavoratori con partita iva ma bisogna avere un abbigliamento da muratore così da avere accesso a un menù fisso. O forse meglio che cambiano lavoro in questa trattoria!

20/11/2025: Thanks for the positive vibes. The woman at the checkpoint was amazing. 🥰 Fast unloading. The entire process took 1 hour, including lab testing and unloading each bag directly onto the line. Clean restrooms and showers. Coffee and snacks. The helpful person gave instructions, everything was great. Thank you.

04/05/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance and it was a great experience: nice place, clean, spacious and well organised.. Quick service with friendly waitresses, good dishes served and a notable choice. Correct service times and adequate price.

21/03/2025: Too bad, something's not working compared to the first few times I came. Soy spaghetti...a glue, frozen octopus salad, marinated salmon, and sorbet. They've been saying they're not available for months: so take them off the menu!
