04/08/2025: Abbiamo provato i famosi Krapfen, ma l’esperienza è stata al di sotto delle aspettative: piccoli, con poco ripieno sia al cioccolato che alla crema, consistenza spugnosa e serviti tiepidi tendenti al freddo, ben lontani dall’essere appena sfornati come dichiarato. Prezzi più da grande città che da località di montagna. Peccato, ci aspettavamo di più.

20/10/2025: i recently stayed at the Castello for two nights and the Hotel emailed me to ask how my stay was. I responded by email, but sadly never heard back. I was in two minds about posting but as I never heard back please see below my view. I think that the hotel needs investment if seeking luxury and guests to want to come to the hotel for more than one night !! There needs to be a slight adjustment in the Hotel attitude which starts with the main gate signs that say no arrival before 2 pm, no outside visitors and then you also find that you can’t use the pool after 2 pm on departure day without being charged extra. In addition the Hotel has such a beautiful garden area, it’s a shame they don’t bother putting any cushions out and making it look nice other than leaving undressed tables and ones immagination as to how nice it could be. The hotel needs to create a more welcoming atmosphere with a lunch menu and dinner menu. Seems particularly weird that people will drive up to 30 minutes to other restaurants, but no one seems to want to drive to your hotel for lunch or dinner. You need to ask yourself why...... The pool chairs are particularly uncomfortable and should have cushions and they should be placed out every day automaticaly. In the bedroom it’s a shame you have to ask for a mattress topper and decent feather pillows in order to have a comfortable nights sleep. The bathrooms, particular the showers need a little bit of an upgrade. At least there is plenty of hot water..... No idea if the air-conditioning works but if it doesn’t then that would make a disastrous night sleep in your hotel. Luckily we were able to sleep with the windows open this trip. The furniture in your reception area is so large that basically makes it almost impossible to sit round without having to put one’s feet on top of the coffee table ! When sitting here people dont want to stare into the kitchen so door should be kept closed. It’s a great shame, but with 10% more effort maybe it could be 50% better. I would not rush back nor recommend to others based on my experiance. Next time would do more research as there has to be better as a very pretty area of Italy In the meantime we did have a lovely time touring the Barolo villages, tasting wine and eating in other restaurants.

27/03/2025: Esperienza terribile. Porzioni infime, prezzo altissimo. Abbiamo speso 30 euro per un antipasto minuscolo e una vellutata. Personale scortese Assolutamente da evitare

15/03/2025: Tre sale medio-piccole con tavoli appiccicati, da faticare a muoversi. Coperto a 4 euro, ma tovagliette e tovaglioli sono di carta. Dopo 20 minuti non erano venuti a prendere nemmeno l'ordinazione delle bibite. Frastuono da non poter parlare, tanto che ce ne siamo andati in anticipo (e così hanno fatto anche i signori dei due tavoli vicini); antipasto scarso, paniscia salatissima. Conto per 1 antipasto, 3 panisce, mezzo litro di vino sfuso della casa e 1 bottiglia d'acqua (niente dolce né caffè): 77 euro. Mai più.

12/06/2025: Locale in centro a Chivasso, molto frequentato. Personale gentile e ben organizzato. Pizze buone. Tanta gente e tavoli troppo vicini

13/05/2025: Pessima affidabilità :poiché in famiglia ho una persona anziana che cammina con molta difficoltà ho effettuato un ordine per asporto. Ordine inserito alle 11.30 con richiesta consegna alle 13.00. Alle 13.35 arriva comunicazione che l ordine è stato annullato per indisponibilità del locale. Chiamo il ristorante per avere spiegazioni e, con evidente rumore di sala di sottofondo, prima mi viene risposto che il locale è chiuso, poi che hanno cambiato orario di apertura perché così sono “più comodi”..in tutto questo neanche un ci scusi… Ora se non puoi fare l asporto basta saperlo , se hai problemi basta avvisarmi e mi organizzo diversamente, ma se scopro alle 13e30 che il pranzo che ho ordinato non arriverà evidentemente mi metti in difficoltà.. per fortuna il mio frigo è ben fornito e ho improvvisato un pranzo arrangiato, ma direi che sono molto molto delusa di questo comportamento

06/05/2025: Ottimo locale sapientemente ristrutturato dalla cucina romana e non solo si spazia da ricette romane sapientemente eseguite a escursioni più innovative.. ogni dettaglio è curato al meglio dallo chef Luca volpe lo consiglio vivamente… il cambio in sala ha garantito un passo notevolmente superiore!

27/04/2025: Cucina 100% romana. Prezzi giusti, personale alla mano e cordiale. La cameriera ci ha consigliato un ottimo vino, Laziale ovviamente! Ci torniamo sicuramente

02/11/2025: Absolutely delicious ice cream at an affordable price, and the choice is so difficult! I highly recommend it! One small drawback, though: the ice cream is only available for takeout. No eating in. But no matter, it's delicious 😋

25/08/2025: The ice cream is very good, however the reception we were served by 2 women who were unbearable did not give us time to choose the children were indecisive we were told off for not being quick when there was no one there.. avoid unless you want to be received (on the other hand the ice creams are really good)

24/10/2025: A central institution in Turin, from breakfast to dinner. A bit of everything, including kitsch. An '80s atmosphere and aperitifs featuring chips, slices of cheese and Milanese salami, pizza, and three homemade appetizers. Very good wine.

15/10/2025: Hospitality and professionalism. Mr. Enzo was truly friendly.

16/11/2025: The pastry shop is excellent, the service very disappointing, the clerks are annoyed, and, in my opinion, there are too many mocking faces. It's a shame to get takeout pastries and not tare them. The scale was at zero, so you pay for the wrapping as if they were pastries. It's a shame, small details that can make a difference. It's still the best pastry shop in the area.

06/10/2025: We were very disappointed with the service. We went for breakfast, and in addition to the classic croissants, juice, and cappuccino, we ordered a mini portion of Bella Elena cake and were charged an extra €0.60 just for the cut, something we've never seen anywhere else. Furthermore, when we got the bill, they mistakenly added another portion we hadn't ordered. When we returned to report the mistake, the clerk refunded our money, but with an annoyed and unprofessional attitude, huffing and puffing as if it were an inconvenience. It's a shame, because the place seemed nice, but good customer service makes all the difference. I don't think we'll be back.

25/04/2025: We have been coming to this pizzeria again and again for 25 years now. The view of the Alps is fantastic and the pizza is also okay. Now the next generation has apparently taken over the shop and that has honestly become a big disadvantage here. Where you used to always receive friendly and courteous service, you are now no longer paid attention to or are intentionally left sitting. On a visit in 2024 we had to wait over 90 minutes for food. And while waiting, no one asked if I would like something to drink. It's a shame that the new generation of operators have turned the experience into a real fiasco. We won't eat here anymore. After all, there are a lot of really good alternatives in the region.

12/10/2025: Bad experience. It took half an hour to get there and then they told me they had no seats. I strongly advise against it. The place is dirty at the entrance and of questionable quality. I definitely won't be returning.

14/09/2025: A terrible experience in my opinion! A table for four, and a paltry platter of cured meats arrived, perhaps enough for one, a Russian salad of dubious color, a portion for one, and a spoonful of goat's ricotta to share between four. Then we moved on to the second course. 🫣 polenta, a portion of tapulone and a portion of donkey stew, a slice of Zola. Measly portions, and when we asked for more polenta, the lady didn't seem happy to oblige. The dessert, which was advertised as fresh, was actually fresh from the fridge. I've always heard about it, but I don't think I'll go back! Also because the bartender at the counter was tipsy and made obscene gestures while he was talking. Granted, it was a festive evening, but obscene gestures, no. Would I recommend it!! Well, no... €25, disappointed

30/08/2025: First of all, I've always been here, and the staff has always been friendly and helpful, and the desserts are delicious. Today I brought some friends, and we took a photo, making sure there was no one behind us. The new employee started badmouthing us to the customers in Arabic, not knowing I speak it. We took a photo while we were waiting our turn, and she kept skipping over to serve others. When I asked her what the problem was and that I understood what she'd said in Arabic, she ignored me, gave me a dirty look, and then gave us what we ordered, slamming it on the counter. Because of this incredibly arrogant and rude person, I won't be returning and I don't recommend the place. There are other places in the area that make equally good desserts, and their staff is much friendlier.

28/08/2025: I got my New Year's Eve cake here, really good and beautiful. Today I wanted to make a birthday cake, but unfortunately I needed it in a specific way and couldn't make it, but I still wanted to leave 5 stars because you're so kind and your cakes are wonderful 💖💖
