01/11/2025: A panoramic location, rustic atmosphere, and excellent food make this bar/restaurant a special place. The quality/price ratio is also excellent. Highly recommended!

01/11/2025: Unfortunately it was closed when I passed by, but I'll give it three stars just for the view. We'll see when we can use the place.

16/11/2025: I had booked days in advance for an important dinner. When we got there, we wanted to eat fish. The waiter told us that on Saturday nights they only did pizza and that the chef wasn't there. Then he asked, "Didn't they call you?" Obviously not. We got up and left. We were very disappointed.

20/08/2025: Very slow and indifferent service, four forgettable pizzas, and, listen to this, not only are they a pizzeria, but they don't even have any kind of bottled beer. The location is decent, but it's infested with mosquitoes. To forget.

29/11/2025: I arrived at eight and at half past nine the food still hadn't arrived, highly not recommended.

30/10/2025: Bruno is a hard worker. He, along with his wife, son, and daughter-in-law, offer honest, quality service. Quick, good-quality, and tasty meals. Fast, friendly service. Definitely preferable to everything else in the area.

29/07/2025: I arrived, the table was still to be set, and once it was set we noticed that the tablecloth was dirty, when we arrived the pizza had a hole in the center, and the topping on top was raw, the staff had no desire to serve

No frills, but plenty of substance: the atmosphere is informal and welcoming, perfect for a dinner with family, friends, or even a relaxed lunch break. The cuisine is its true strength: dishes prepared with top-quality ingredients, where care and passion are evident in every course. The fish in particular is a true delight—fresh, well-cooked, and enhanced without overpowering its flavor. The pizza is also excellent: light, well-cooked dough, and generous toppings. The value for money is simply exceptional. It's rare to find a place where you can eat so well, with generous portions and more than fair prices. A place that focuses on true quality, without inflating the bill. Highly recommended for those looking for authentic, tasty cuisine without breaking the bank. I'll definitely be back!

14/08/2025: A spacious restaurant with several tables for lunch or dinner, plus a terrace outside. It's clean and tidy, and the owners are courteous and friendly. I had a really good lunch; the food was excellent, and the price, including coffee, was well within the norm. I highly recommend it.

13/08/2025: Truly lovely place next to the river where you can also watch Ducks and wildlife 😃 I loved it especially in the evening. The staff is very welcoming, polite, attentive and happy 😊

11/11/2025: disrespectful behavior, they kicked us out of the place because we didn't have the tray that they themselves didn't provide us

25/10/2025: Friday night. Only delivery drivers camped out at the entrance. The security guy comes out shouting random order numbers. I grab my tray and start eating outside. Everything's filthy (pigeon poop on the sides) and the table is half-lopsided. All this, 200 meters from the castle in Piazza Castello. If you take away the standards we're used to from McDonald's... there's not much left. It's also a shame for the guys who work there because it's clear they can't do much.

14/10/2025: Very nice restaurant with plenty of options from sea food, pizzas, steak, spare-ribs and salads Waiters are very attentive and helpful. We had the spare ribs and asked that the pizza with prosciutto and mushrooms be with porcini instaed of regular mushrooms and got it. The cream brulee was also good. Mom picture of the ribs as I was too late 😉 Overall with water and beer which we split by getting a other glass was 50 euros

09/11/2025: Absolutely unsuitable as a restaurant. It's impossible to communicate with your fellow diners, the music is incredibly loud. They didn't take down our reservation, even though I recognize their willingness and willingness to find a solution. The table wasn't set, and there were no silverware on the plate. Then, given the late hour they had set, they started serving food continuously, leaving no time for anyone to eat. All this in an impossible din. The food was average. An experience not to be repeated.

12/10/2025: The pizza was okay, but partly burned. The tomato and arugula sauce contained mushrooms we hadn't requested (luckily, the customer wasn't allergic). I find it unacceptable and truly unprofessional that those who show up in person are served before those who had reserved in the afternoon. The pizza was supposed to arrive at 8:30, and only after three calls at 9:35 did he show up to deliver it, even more so, pissed off that we'd delayed... utter rudeness! Terrible customer service. Not to mention that after the first call, he told us he was putting the pizza in the oven... definitely never again! Fortunately, there are more professional pizzerias in Cameri.

24/10/2025: A central institution in Turin, from breakfast to dinner. A bit of everything, including kitsch. An '80s atmosphere and aperitifs featuring chips, slices of cheese and Milanese salami, pizza, and three homemade appetizers. Very good wine.

From the moment we arrived, Denise and her incredible staff delivered a level of service that can only be described as top-notch perfection. What impressed us most was the meticulous planning Denise and her team handled for our stay. From curated daily itineraries to seamless reservations and thoughtful recommendations, everything flowed effortlessly. It made our trip feel not just relaxing, but expertly crafted. And then—the dinner. Truly world-class. The kind of meal that makes you pause mid-bite, look around the table, and silently agree that you’ll be talking about this night for years. Every dish showcased local ingredients, deep knowledge, and a chef's touch that borders on magic. One of the highlights of our entire trip was the pasta-making class hosted by Denise herself. It was fun, hands-on, charmingly educational, and absolutely delicious. Denise has an incredible gift for teaching and making everyone feel like part of something special. We didn’t just learn how to make pasta — we created one of the happiest memories of our journey. If you're considering a stay at Castello di Sinio, don't hesitate. It’s rare to find a place where hospitality, warmth, expertise, and true passion come together so naturally. Denise and her staff have built something remarkable, and we are already dreaming of our next visit.

20/10/2025: i recently stayed at the Castello for two nights and the Hotel emailed me to ask how my stay was. I responded by email, but sadly never heard back. I was in two minds about posting but as I never heard back please see below my view. I think that the hotel needs investment if seeking luxury and guests to want to come to the hotel for more than one night !! There needs to be a slight adjustment in the Hotel attitude which starts with the main gate signs that say no arrival before 2 pm, no outside visitors and then you also find that you can’t use the pool after 2 pm on departure day without being charged extra. In addition the Hotel has such a beautiful garden area, it’s a shame they don’t bother putting any cushions out and making it look nice other than leaving undressed tables and ones immagination as to how nice it could be. The hotel needs to create a more welcoming atmosphere with a lunch menu and dinner menu. Seems particularly weird that people will drive up to 30 minutes to other restaurants, but no one seems to want to drive to your hotel for lunch or dinner. You need to ask yourself why...... The pool chairs are particularly uncomfortable and should have cushions and they should be placed out every day automaticaly. In the bedroom it’s a shame you have to ask for a mattress topper and decent feather pillows in order to have a comfortable nights sleep. The bathrooms, particular the showers need a little bit of an upgrade. At least there is plenty of hot water..... No idea if the air-conditioning works but if it doesn’t then that would make a disastrous night sleep in your hotel. Luckily we were able to sleep with the windows open this trip. The furniture in your reception area is so large that basically makes it almost impossible to sit round without having to put one’s feet on top of the coffee table ! When sitting here people dont want to stare into the kitchen so door should be kept closed. It’s a great shame, but with 10% more effort maybe it could be 50% better. I would not rush back nor recommend to others based on my experiance. Next time would do more research as there has to be better as a very pretty area of Italy In the meantime we did have a lovely time touring the Barolo villages, tasting wine and eating in other restaurants.
