14/10/2025: I was in the area for work and, after a colleague's recommendation, I decided to stop for lunch, and I have to say it was an excellent choice! The food was very good and the portions were generous. The owner was kind and welcoming. I would return.

03/08/2025: Extremely slow service, they got the orders wrong for all three tables that were occupied, the fried food was full of oil, the steak was badly cooked, the only decent side was fries, and the price was high for the service and food offered. Not recommended.

07/09/2025: At 1:30 PM, the place had several empty tables. We went in for dessert with our coffee. At the entrance, we asked if we could sit down, but a very rude waitress told us to sit at the counter. We left. To think we've been going to this place for a while, and the food and desserts are good. Unfortunately, she didn't respond appropriately, as it's not a restaurant but a bar, and we had the right to sit down. Anyway, they lost two customers. I don't recommend it because of the service.

03/09/2025: It was truly an unforgettable experience. We have rarely entered a place run by such a rude and ignorant group (I believe a family) (in the sense that they completely ignore the rules of good business and hospitality in a public place). The cake was unremarkable, and the cappuccino was more like a latte. We felt rejected even before entering, and when it came time to pay, we were forced to scrape together coins because, naturally, this place, run by unspeakable characters, only accepts cash. Surely the owner of this pleasant place will be happy to know that (since we live in Sanremo), from now on we will avoid Col di Nava and will only take the highway to have breakfast at the service station... until they open a place where a kind lady makes cakes... Even in Ormea. The business community is ashamed of you.

21/09/2025: We ate very well, four of us, each ordering a different dish, and it was all delicious. The staff and Mr. Wang were very kind and smiling.

03/09/2025: Terrible experience. I came to this bar with my boyfriend and two friends: one ordered water and mints, the other a bottle of water, while the two of us didn't want anything. The blonde waitress spoke rudely to us, saying, "This is a bar, drinks are mandatory." So I asked for two sweets and was told the minimum order was €1.50 (unheard of). Since I didn't have cash, I asked my friend to get me a bag of chips, which we then split. When we sat down, the owner (I presume) came over and asked my boyfriend what he wanted to order. I explained to her that we had already gotten the chips and were sharing them, but she responded very rudely, telling me to shut up and that she was talking to him. I started to get nervous and asked her if it was "illegal" to share a bag of chips, and she said yes, adding that the bar is her house and that it was up to her to decide whether I should speak or not, even going so far as to say offensive things about my mother when I walked away and threatening to call the police. At this point, I waited for her to call them, and rightly so, no one came. What was she supposed to say? "Hi, the customer ordered a bag of chips for two"? Do you think they would arrest me? Oh well. After several insults, saying I'm rude, a liar, and disrespectful, she even approached me with a threatening air. When my boyfriend and I split up, she even told my friends, "If she didn't have any money, you could have just said so." Now I want to know, after the whole drama over a bag of chips, if I had come to you and said, "I don't have any money," would you have left me sitting? No. Someone who has no money doesn't go to a bar. I had money, but I prefer to spend it in bars where the staff is more polite and kind. This behavior was unacceptable in my opinion: we felt treated with disrespect and without any professionalism. I won't be returning, and I don't recommend this place to anyone looking for a welcoming and respectful place. Not to mention the prices, which in my opinion are too high.

03/09/2025: My experience at this bar was unfortunately very negative. I was with some friends and one of their boyfriends: I ordered a bottle of water, my friend a mint water and a bag of crisps, while the other two had no intention of consuming anything. At that point, the staff approached us in a rude and unprofessional tone. Subsequently, a senior employee insisted that we needed to consume at least €1.50 per person. An unpleasant discussion ensued: instead of handling the situation with courtesy, they became arrogant and aggressive, even going so far as to threaten to call the police for no valid reason. The scene escalated further, with offensive remarks directed not only at my friend but also at her family members, and even approaching my friend as if raising their hands and saying "shut up." Such behavior from the staff is unacceptable in a business that should welcome customers with kindness and politeness.

05/07/2025: Éste fue el servicio más desagradable y grosero que he experimentado en el mundo en 55 años. Nuestro camarero, Antonio, dijo que no era posible compartir una pizza. Debes pedir 2 . Cuando quisimos compartir algo con otros viajeros dijo: No es posible. Los viajeros se fueron. No pedimos más comida y nos marchamos. La pizza era mediocre. Ahórrese la experiencia de un hombre que intenta débilmente vender más productos a sus clientes. Crecí en el negocio de la restauración y fui dueño de uno durante 26 años. 07/09/2025: It's a beautiful restaurant, the decor is typical but be careful!!! As luck would have it, it's impossible to pay by credit card and the bill is steep, written in Italian. Impossible to decipher! The "food" is very basic, the owner encourages you to order deer or wild boar meat, the bottled water arrives already opened 🥴, (probably tap water). No menu for aperitifs because only in the evening! Italian wine 🍷? Well, then a basic German beer charged without having seen the menu... the surprise later. So an aperitif board for 2, two beers 🍺, a coke, a lasagna, ravioli sprinkled with parmesan, polenta with a piece of beef cheek (cooked like a pot-au-feu, tasteless) 2 desserts, again without a menu to check the price... Well, 126 euros. So I'm going to ask for an explanation because the French know it well, eating in Italy is much cheaper than in France. Last time in Sestriere for 2 we paid 40 euros!! Aperitif, antipasti, two dishes and two desserts!?!? What is this madness? The boss when I asked him to explain the bill not very pleasant, and by the way 9 euros service charge, lol the first time I pay service charge! So run away, on the snow front the restaurants are excellent and really cheap and the menu ♥️. September 2025

14/10/2025: We stopped for a business lunch for three, after placing the order it took about 25 minutes for a plate of pasta to be brought, while the second courses arrived in three installments, meaning we ate individually, which was absurd given that two out of three were the same dish chosen, all served in 1.5 hours... price 57 euros (business lunch)

31/08/2025: €14 for a gluten-free pizza with ham and zucchini (with frozen dough). Practically double the average price of a pizza, and the quality is also poor. I strongly advise against it.

15/08/2025: I've never written reviews for any restaurant, but I feel compelled to. I ordered two pizzas a couple of months ago, €38, heavily topped, and so large that I couldn't even finish them, even folded in the box due to their size. Since we were so happy with the service months ago, and since we were new customers (I'm not mistaken, we even had a discount with a flyer handed out with the discount), we ordered three more pizzas this evening, almost €50, literally without toppings, thin as a sheet of paper, the dough half-raw, full of oil, and a burnt edge, and one of the pizzas was even missing one of the chosen ingredients. I ordered a beer, which arrived hot and undrinkable, and the Coke was ice cold; I don't see the point. I don't know if the management or the chef has changed in recent months, but this evening it felt like we'd bought the lowest-quality frozen pizzas on the market, put them in a box, and delivered them. It's a shame. Judging by the photos on the website, you'd expect excellent quality pizzas. Unfortunately, from what I've seen, not all that glitters is gold. This will be the last time we'll order from you.

12/10/2025: Disappointing Experience I had noticed this restaurant some time ago and had fond memories of it. Management had recently changed, I was told, and with it, the atmosphere. I booked through the link here that redirects to TheFork on Google, which asked me for confirmation just hours beforehand. However, when I arrived, the person at the door reacted rather arrogantly, saying that nothing had been found and that "he already told them to remove it, but they don't listen" (almost blaming me, as if it were my fault). No apology, just an annoyed tone, despite the reservation being perfectly visible on Google and no one asking me about it. Once we were seated, the waiter served cutlery and placemats brusquely, slamming everything on the table (buccheri, bread, wine) and huffing and puffing. Frankly, I felt more like a burden, as if I were a nuisance, than welcomed. The pasta e fagioli had an acidic aftertaste and wasn't to my liking; To be fair, I'll refrain from speculating on the reason, even though I have my own idea, but I preferred not to continue with the dish. No one asked why it had remained almost untouched. The other dishes, as noted in other reviews, were poor value for money. The only positive note: the two waitresses, very courteous and helpful, made things a bit easier. In short, I was attracted by the old reviews and photos of the dishes, but I think the atmosphere has changed, and the management certainly has. Personally, I don't think I'll return, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

03/10/2025: The quality has dropped quite a bit. The appetizers are still good, but the first courses are tasteless, often bland. Very limited vegetarian options. Even the wines don't seem to be that high quality. They're also expensive. It's a shame because this place seemed promising at first.

10/07/2025: Dopo la visita ad una mostra, ci siamo fermati da 049 per la cena. Ambiente grande, ben arredato con un bel bancone (in un’altra occasione abbiamo consumato un buon caffè), piuttosto rumoroso ma non sgradevole. Personale veloce e professionale. Abbiamo scelto: Insalata 049 (insalata mista, pomodorini, Olive nere, carote, patate al vapore, toma, uovo sodo, salsa di senape); Hamburger 09 (200 gr. Di carne, salsa barbecue, bacon, cipolla caramellata, lattuga e patate fritte). Accompagnati da una bottiglia di bollicine. Siamo stati soddisfatti sia del cibo che del servizio. Prezzi corretti. Lo consigliamo

08/04/2025: Dopo una visita alle mostre, sempre piavevolissime e ben gestite al Castello di Novara, è comodo fermarsi nel dehor di questo locale. Bella la vista sulla piazza e sulle mura del castello mentre osserviamo il passeggio e il via vai dei clienti sotto un caldo sole primaverile. Comode le sedute, solidi e adeguati i tavolini in metallo. Il servizio è discretamente veloce, compatibilmente con l'affollamento che nelle ore canoniche non manca. Il dubbio è fra un aperitivo con qualche sfiziosita' o un più classico menu ( panini, piadine, toast, insalatone e qualche altro piatto). Scegliamo una piadina con prosciutto crudo San Daniele, squaquerone e rucola (7 €) e un maxi toast (5 €). Da bere una tonica alla spina (4 €) e una mezza minerale (2 €). La piadina è ben imbottita e decisamente buona, lo stesso vale per il toast. Il personale è gentile e attento. Con il coperto (1,5 €), spendiamo in tutto 21 euro per una piacevole pausa ristoratrice.

29/06/2025: Cena un coppia sulla piattaforma galleggiante. Personale gentilissimo. Cibo ottimo e abbondante. Vino buono. Atmosfera stupenda. Prezzo giusto per ciò che abbiamo mangiato.

08/06/2025: Quando vado a mangiare in un locale solitamente quando c’è tanta gente il mangiare è pessimo oggi era peggio di pessimo, mi è piaciuto mangiare sulla piattaforma con l’arietta anche se faceva caldo, in un locale avevano la musica altissima e nel rispetto di tutti mentre si mangia andrebbe spenta ma loro sono così ( e non dico di che etnia parlo)saranno i titolari a provvedere se vogliono avere più o meno persone, una cosa è certa a me non mi vedono più!
