19/12/2025: New pizza delivery girl, arrogant and rude to me first and foremost, and to my boyfriend... I didn't scold her at my door, only because she obviously pities him, it's clear she needs it... But when it happens once, twice, three times, I get really pissed, considering I pay for the delivery too... So, next time she gets insulted by me, or by whoever's at home, she'll keep it down and keep quiet. I'm a bit of a jerk, and I don't feel like being an idiot. About the pizza, nothing to say.

16/12/2025: Best dough in Settimo. It doesn't make you bloated or make you drink a liter of water overnight. Well-topped pizzas and friendly staff. Always on time.

21/02/2026: Friendly staff, good location, but that's not enough. I'm sorry, but your ginseng is unsuitable...it left a really unpleasant aftertaste. Any advice? Change brands.

05/01/2026: Everything was delicious, from the classic pizza to the "cloud" pizza to the desserts. The restaurant dishes served at other tables were very inviting, both for their presentation and aromas. The place is small, clean, and well-kept, although the furnishings and color scheme make it feel cold and unwelcoming at first glance. The staff were friendly, professional, and always smiling. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area again.

12/02/2026: A go-to place for breakfast, lunch, and aperitifs, offering high-quality and imaginative pastries (fruit croissants, marron glacé, chocolate, and a wide variety of desserts). The savory options are also excellent (pizza slices, savory brioche, toast). It struggles a bit when the place gets crowded and the afternoon hours are a bit short.

24/01/2026: My daughter's birthday party. I ordered a variety of pan pizzas. The dough was super easy to digest and flavorful, with generous toppings and excellent value. The staff were friendly and helpful. Delivery was right on time. I recommend!

24/01/2026: I like the wide selection of pizzas and the fact that they do take-out calzones, which not everyone does because they don't have the right kind of box. It was also well-filled. If I had to say anything negative, we didn't really like the taste of the cooked ham. Maybe next time we'll try pizzas without it.

22/11/2025: I bought a fruit tart for my mom's birthday. The prices are too high and truly unaffordable, especially for a very small tart (even though I ordered it for 10 people). If I had known for sure that the price would be so high, I wouldn't have chosen this pastry shop.

09/01/2026: Went as a couple... no beer, I was told it had run out, I thought it was on tap, but they didn't even have bottles... Menu written on an A4 sheet... Asked for pizza with tuna, but the tuna had also run out... just out of politeness we didn't leave... A veil over the pizza...

21/10/2025: I've had the pleasure of eating at Il Pirata on several occasions (birthdays, parties, and even more relaxed dinners) and have always had a great experience. I was there for a party on Saturday, and the delivery times were reasonable, especially since you can't expect pizzas to arrive in 10 minutes when a restaurant is full. The pizzas are very good, and the value for money is top-notch. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which is something you can't take for granted. Highly recommended!

14/11/2025: Absolute madness: a coffee costs €1.40 (without commenting on whether it's good or not, because that would be purely personal). But paying that kind of money for a coffee here is completely out of line. They're certainly taking advantage of the fact that the bar in the shopping center across the street has closed. The result is that you can rip off a customer once... I doubt it'll happen again (for anyone). Not even at service stations, which are notoriously expensive, do coffees cost that much. I live in Milan, and in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele I pay €1.20!!

13/03/2026: I'm truly sorry to leave a negative review because I never do. In fact, two years ago I left a 5-star review for the zeppole, which I really enjoyed. I've been there several times over the years, and I must say I always feel very uncomfortable, but this time I feel compelled to write my impressions. The owners are a husband, wife, and daughter. I'm sorry to say that the parents are unfortunately not very friendly or welcoming to customers; they don't smile, which wouldn't hurt, and I've often heard them respond rudely to some customers. I've placed orders over the phone a few times in the past, and the lady has always been less than welcoming. In the shop, you always feel ignored. If you want a croissant, you can't help yourself like in many cafes, as the windows aren't accessible to the public, and I understand that. But the lady doesn't come because she's often in the workroom, and her husband next door doesn't call her, so you're left waiting for them to serve you. Then, suddenly, the lady arrives and leaves without asking what you need. You're left waiting for a long time, which isn't ideal when you're in a bit of a rush. Her husband next door, who oversees the coffee shop, works with his head down, rarely looking up, and even there, you have to wait a long time, so there are two lines waiting for someone to notice you. Once I saw that his wife hadn't arrived, I asked him if he could fill a croissant with pistachio cream. Annoyed, he goes to the workroom, but when I get home, it tasted like butter, looked like it was a few days old, and had only a teaspoon of cream. A few days ago I went, as usual, to get a vegan croissant for my son who has serious intolerances. I really wanted to be served quickly for fear that someone would take the only one in the window, since they always make very few of them. I waited a long time for them to serve me, then I finally managed to ask, but the croissant was already gone. The lady told me she was baking more, so I asked her, paying for it in advance, if she could put it aside for me and that I would come back later, asking how long after and what the filling options were. So after asking for the one I wanted, she told me to come back in 15 minutes. I paid my daughter at the cashier (who is usually always very kind and smiling), I explained everything to her too, I left and then came back after 10 minutes, the lady said to me "Madam, it hasn't even been 15 minutes!!!" in a sarcastic tone and turning her back on me without any friendliness. I politely said that it was no problem and that I would be back. After an hour, I returned. I expected to quickly pick up the bag set aside for me near the register. Instead, her daughter, after having everyone in line pay, opened a bag and went to get my croissant, which was in the display case with all the others, risking missing it if someone asked for the same type. At this point, I said, "Luckily no one took the one with my filling..." She replied, "Oh well, it's the same!" I wanted to reply that it wasn't actually like that, but I didn't want to argue. I left feeling very annoyed and annoyed. I believe that as a customer, it's uneducated and unprofessional to receive such treatment, and that if you're tired of working, perhaps it's better to leave the job to younger people, especially if customers then have to come to the pastry shop reluctantly and feel like they're a nuisance or a distraction!

Besides the fact that you can no longer order yogurt at the counter and then sit down—you're practically forced to order it at the table, paying more, with fewer toppings to choose from, and even receiving a smaller quantity—they now only give one packet of sugar per person. We witnessed a truly horrifying scene: the girl had ordered takeout yogurt, while the rest of the family also wanted to eat while seated. They didn't let them sit because the girl had already ordered their takeout. And as if that weren't enough, we also saw two elderly people being moved to another table for no real reason. Absurd.

12/11/2025: Stayed across the road from here for a few days and came in every day for breakfast and coffee. The team behind the till were courteous, kind and patient with my lack of Italian vocabulary. Great coffee too!

04/11/2025: Very welcoming and bright place. It's a shame that spending €4.50 for a frozen gluten-free brioche means they'll never see me again. Not even specialty bakeries that offer fresh products have these prices.
