28/10/2025: Very friendly atmosphere: Nico, who served us, is truly charming and knows how to deal with customers. We had lunch with two glasses of very good wine, superb dishes, and impeccable service. I'll definitely be back with great pleasure!

26/10/2025: Booked a week ago for my dad's birthday, we arrive and the owner tells us that he accidentally cancelled our reservation, okay it can happen, but at least he tries to make amends somehow, instead as if it were normal he apologizes and sends us away.... Unprofessional, be careful if you book call to reconfirm!!!

07/10/2025: Today I stopped at this bar, I can't rate the food because I only stopped for a coffee, I found parking right in front of the bar, there is a covered room outside with tables where you can also smoke 😜 anyway fast and very friendly service, kind and nice girl so good, thanks

26/10/2025: I'm not questioning the food, which was decent; but the saleswoman asked me for €6. I gave her a €10 bill, which she refused because she didn't have any change. It was Sunday at 12:30 p.m., at the Alba white truffle market, so there were lots of people. She forced me to pay by credit card because she didn't have €4 to give me back! I find that shameful.

18/11/2025: A typical Uba Volta trattoria with excellent food, cooked to perfection. The appetizers are special, the pizza is delicious, not to mention the spectacular grilled meats...and the homemade desserts are delicious...all topped off by the warm welcome from the family who runs the place. We'll definitely be back!

05/11/2025: I stayed at this hotel for two nights in the superior double room. The room was apparently recently renovated and was extremely clean, with a comfortable bed and pillows, and a super-functional and comfortable bathroom and shower. Perhaps the temperature was a little low. I dined one evening in the hotel restaurant, choosing a menu specially designed for the festival held on the weekend of November 2nd in Baceno. The dishes all featured local ingredients, were well-executed, and presented as expected. I ate truly well. Breakfast was quite varied and had everything you could need. The restaurant and hotel staff were always courteous, smiling, and helpful. Convenient on-site parking is available.

15/08/2025: Working with customers means welcoming them, or at least not making them feel uncomfortable with your jokes. I arrive with friends for a drink, and when we ask for pineapple juice, instead of replying, "We offer local organic products, so we have other flavors," we're told, "We have Piedmontese products, and until proven otherwise, pineapples don't grow in Piedmont." This wasn't even accompanied by a laugh or a smile to soften the unsolicited joke about where pineapples grow. The waitress's communication problem persists when she asks for three small bottles of water, with a counter-proposal, "Okay, let's make a large one," bringing us a glass carafe. It's unprofessional to communicate with customers in such a colorful and off-putting manner.

01/03/2026: We have stayed at the Castello twice and both times were amazed by the level of service and the quality of the food. Even in the Barolo region where restaurants are held to a very high standard Denise’s menu is a cut above. All these rhapsodic reviews from seasoned travelers are well deserved. I look forward to a third visit.

We didn’t just learn how to make pasta — we created one of the happiest memories of our journey. If you're considering a stay at Castello di Sinio, don't hesitate. It’s rare to find a place where hospitality, warmth, expertise, and true passion come together so naturally. Denise and her staff have built something remarkable, and we are already dreaming of our next visit.

23/11/2025: Unfortunately, my experience at this laundromat was very disappointing. Today I brought some clothes to be washed and found the place to be poorly maintained and quite dirty. The washer-dryer I wanted to use wasn't working properly: the filter was full of dust despite the requirement to clean it before use, and the machine kept my money without starting the wash cycle. I tried contacting the manager seven times, but received no response. A laundromat should guarantee functioning machines and a minimum level of assistance, which, unfortunately, I didn't find in this case.

30/11/2025: Great place to stop for a hot meal on the hike to the peaks. Reasonable prices. They don't have Satispay, but they do accept credit cards. The South American waitress was friendly and helpful!

21/07/2025: We booked an aperitif dinner for 15 people two weeks in advance for 7:30/8:00 PM. On the appointed day, at 6:30 PM, the owner called us in a very rude and impolite manner, slurring his words, and claimed they'd canceled a birthday party and were closing and going home because it wouldn't be convenient for them to only be open for 15 people, forcing us to hastily find another place. What can I say? Kudos to you for your professionalism!

12/12/2025: It's a really nice bar...comfortable, quiet, and the girl serving is delightful. I've only tried breakfast. But as soon as I can, I'll try the aperitif. Definitely worth a visit.

21/09/2025: Delicious pastry shop. I went on Tuesday morning this week and found the atmosphere truly welcoming and friendly. I tried the Sicilian cannoli and zeppole and was blown away.
