01/03/2026: We have stayed at the Castello twice and both times were amazed by the level of service and the quality of the food. Even in the Barolo region where restaurants are held to a very high standard Denise’s menu is a cut above. All these rhapsodic reviews from seasoned travelers are well deserved. I look forward to a third visit.

23/11/2025: Unfortunately, my experience at this laundromat was very disappointing. Today I brought some clothes to be washed and found the place to be poorly maintained and quite dirty. The washer-dryer I wanted to use wasn't working properly: the filter was full of dust despite the requirement to clean it before use, and the machine kept my money without starting the wash cycle. I tried contacting the manager seven times, but received no response. A laundromat should guarantee functioning machines and a minimum level of assistance, which, unfortunately, I didn't find in this case.

30/11/2025: Great place to stop for a hot meal on the hike to the peaks. Reasonable prices. They don't have Satispay, but they do accept credit cards. The South American waitress was friendly and helpful!

21/07/2025: We booked an aperitif dinner for 15 people two weeks in advance for 7:30/8:00 PM. On the appointed day, at 6:30 PM, the owner called us in a very rude and impolite manner, slurring his words, and claimed they'd canceled a birthday party and were closing and going home because it wouldn't be convenient for them to only be open for 15 people, forcing us to hastily find another place. What can I say? Kudos to you for your professionalism!

01/03/2026: It's a shame to swindle musicians to line your pockets :) €25 each for two slices of low-quality pizza and a few drinks seems like too much. We were only there for the musicians, who weren't even paid!!!

18/10/2025: The pizza is good. Tonight we ordered pizzas at 7 PM. My partner left 5 minutes early because we called as soon as you opened... so there was no way around it. But apparently you're just kidding because we've been waiting 40 minutes and they're still not ready. The organization is shameful.

09/01/2026: If you're looking for cleanliness and good Piedmontese cuisine, you're in the right place, but don't expect anything else, nor any form of welcome according to the minimum standards of good manners, even before hospitality. At the reception, and for any of your problems, as well as for the throwing of food onto your plate—a surprise throw because there's no menu and no one tells you about it (a shame, the dishes are delicious and the cook is exceptional), no one will ask you if you'd like wine and what kind, and for all your requests to the reception "staff," you'll encounter rudeness if not impoliteness: are you cold in your room? Cover up. A great shame, because the female staff is incredibly skilled and competent. Knowing how to do a job well and with care isn't something everyone can do, but for guests to pay the price for these poor management decisions, I find it crazy and counterproductive for the facility. Since price lists don't exist, prices are subject to strange fluctuations, especially if you don't need a receipt or invoice.

01/02/2026: Absolutely negative experience! I visited this bar two months ago by chance, and as soon as I walked in, the lady behind the counter (I assume the owner) seemed almost annoyed by my presence even though she didn't know me. I plucked up courage and ordered a cappuccino, where the milk was the temperature of the sun! Never again.

16/12/2025: I used this hotel for two short stays in Pinerolo. I stayed in the Residence, which was modern and renovated, but like all residences, it was a bit cold. I also had the opportunity to try a room in the main building: the furnishings were a bit retro, but comfortable and more than suitable for my short stay. Central and convenient location. I appreciated the kindness of all the staff and especially the restaurant, which deserves all five stars. Franco Stuardi

15/12/2025: I was very hesitant to give it 4 or 5 stars, but it would be 4.5 if possible. We were greeted extremely kindly by the staff, who seated us and spontaneously moved us from our table to a larger one. The wait was a bit long, especially for the starters. Overall, the vegetable udon noodles were good but not exceptional, while the salt-and-pepper shrimp were excellent. The veal with asparagus was decent but original. The mixed fried fruit, not shown in the photos, was also beautiful. The prices were quite reasonable. Recommended for a quiet evening.

10/09/2025: A good place for any occasion, from a quick get-together with friends, a gelato or dessert for one person, to large group events, or anything else. The artisanal gelato and pastries are definitely good, exceeding expectations. However, there isn't always a wide selection on days and at quieter times. There's plenty of space, both inside and on the terrace to the north of the building, as is the large parking area. The only downside is the prices, which are shocking. Everything is well above average, even compared to places in the center of Borgomanero and even Arona, not to mention the shop next door... 😵‍💫 bordering on illegal.

04/03/2026: I don't understand the keyboard warriors who "dislike" Gaudenti, a nice, informal place with good products. So let's keep the good bourgeois places, with a cup of coffee for €1.50 and now monopolized by his majesty Gerla, who is literally "gobbling up" all the pastry shops and bars in Turin. Meanwhile, Gaudenti is being closed, and there will be another pizzeria after Amici (which is also owned by the same person, guess what...). Turin, carry on like this, complete hara-kiri. 07/02/2026: We ordered two takeout pizzas, a Margherita and one with porchetta and potatoes, and finally a tiramisu. The pizza dough was tough, like cardboard, and the porchetta and potatoes were missing the potatoes. The dessert, what can I say... sour, it went bad. I hope I don't end up in the hospital with food poisoning.

22/01/2026: Even though it changed its name from totó pizza to marèe, the pizza is really good and the atmosphere is family-friendly, I recommend it.

10/01/2026: Average rating between the location of 5, and food/service just above 1. An interpretation of Piedmontese cuisine good for tourists with sloppy and slow service. The dishes aren't up to par, especially the tajarin with 30 egg yolks, a pale, deathly white color. If I return, it will be for the location.

17/08/2025: Enchanting location. Excellent food, with extremely thoughtful and meticulous presentation. Exceptional service, despite the scorching heat, was not only for us but also for our dogs. Well done!
