13/09/2025: I had lunch with friends today in this beautiful pizzeria restaurant. From the starters to the desserts, everything was really good. Everyone was really welcoming, plus it was wrapped in a postcard-like setting.

04/09/2025: Very nice location with a lake view. Tables are a bit cramped for four people. Friendly and fast staff. Extensive menu and good food. Prices are a bit high. There's also a children's menu.

24/07/2025: The pastries are very good, and the lady at the counter does her best. Unfortunately, especially in the mornings, when she has to meet the demands of the clinic's staff and clients, in addition to washing dishes and replenishing raw materials, unexpected problems can arise in the rush, such as coffee overflowing from the cup or water from the glass. I repeat, she does her best, and probably, even if I had worked in the same job for a while, I couldn't have done better. I would recommend having someone else help, at least during the critical hours. Another observation I'd like to make—and let it be clear, this isn't meant to be a negative, but simply an observation in case it might be helpful—is the hazelnut cream in the croissants. Especially in the summer, this cream tends to become runny, with the risk that (as happened to me) when you bite into the pastry, the cream will leak out copiously from the injection sites, potentially messing up the customer. In this regard, I would recommend using a thicker product, at least for warmer weather, or, if possible, adding natural thickeners like potato starch to the cream. Otherwise, everything is fine, from the waiting time to the quality of the products to the courtesy of the service.

29/12/2025: A wonderful experience, excellent food, and friendly service... After dinner, we inquired about availability for Christmas lunch, and, thrilled by what we'd eaten, we decided to book... We couldn't have made a better choice... the Christmas lunch was truly EXCELLENT...

28/12/2025: I went to this osteria today, which I found on Maps to find some typical local dishes. Well, what can I say? The place is surrounded by greenery, surrounded by mountains and hills. The interior is all wood, with a beautiful wood-burning fireplace that heated much of the place. Finally, the food tastes great, from appetizers to dessert. Even my girls were surprised by the flavors, with what we ordered. The pasta was homemade, and not to mention the roast goose was SPECTACULAR. A little tip: add a good chocolate dessert. Thanks to all the staff, you never stop improving. I will definitely be back. THE BEST.

26/07/2025: I'm a regular at this place and I think it's the best for poke. They have a great selection of ingredients, the staff is super friendly, and they even have a loyalty card that gets you a free plate of gyoza after 10 pokes. Highly recommended.

15/11/2025: Valentine's Day dinner 2025: a fairly varied set menu. We went to this restaurant because it's supposed to be a well-known name in the city. We entered and only after a while were we called to sit at the counter (quite uncomfortable for such a high-priced dinner). We were crammed in among bottles of wine and various decorations, even though there were still a few tables free (and they remained that way throughout the evening). After choosing the wine (the chef arrogantly wanted to choose for us even though we explicitly told him what we wanted), a plate of breadsticks, crackers, and bread arrived, not at all crispy and lacking in flavor. The dinner continued with quality dishes. At one point, the chef scolded one of the waiters (who had always been extremely kind and provided impeccable service) in front of the entire dining room. The icing on the cake was dessert and coffee at the end of the dinner. Only at a few tables did the chef serve strawberries with chocolate, leaving a few guests without them. Since it was a set menu, it should have been included with all courses. The food was good, though, it was a shame about the setting, which completely failed to live up to expectations and the bill.

01/02/2026: It's a historic restaurant in Asti, but it hasn't evolved at all. The quality has significantly declined, and the space is really cramped, to the point of being, in my opinion, even dangerous in the event of an accident. The pizza, if you like it thin, isn't bad, although I find it a bit bland. The service is fast and the price is fair. Acceptable, but not worth returning to.

30/11/2025: The place is small with tables close together, they work two evening shifts, an old-school pizzeria, crispy thin pizzas without a crust cooked in a wood-fired oven, good and light, after one you'll want to eat another, fried calamari portions are not large and not the best in taste, desserts are store-bought profiteroles, panna cotta (hard) with store-bought sauces, chocolate cake with a soft center not exceptional. The white wine in a carafe is good, the red beer is good, and the prices are also good. I recommend it for eating pizza.

18/08/2025: Good morning, today, my mom and I visited this restaurant for the second time in Serralunga d'Alba. The first time was for a quick coffee, but today, after visiting the castle, I really wanted to go. It's hard not to eat well in Piedmont, but today I was proved right with other dishes I tried at this restaurant. Before entering the streets leading to the castle, we found this restaurant. I immediately loved the hospitality and the simplicity of the dishes—in this case, the traditional approach—with which they prepared everything. We started with an exceptional and beautifully presented Fassona beef appetizer, followed by rabbit as a main course, served with potatoes and steamed vegetables. Finally, we finished with an exceptional hazelnut cake served with vanilla ice cream, all accompanied, of course, by a delicious 2021 Barbaresco. A top-notch lunch at a good price considering the general price increases, but above all, I want to emphasize the friendliness, professionalism, and helpfulness—things that can't be taken for granted these days. We have a small dog, and they kindly brought us water on a very hot day. At the back of the restaurant, we have a beautiful terrace overlooking the Langhe. I highly recommend this place and hope it stays open, since from what I understand, it will be closed due to internal issues. I hope they resolve the situation and that this restaurant, which for me is a symbol of tradition and good Piedmontese cuisine in Serralunga d'Alba, remains open.
