19/07/2025: My mom and I went for lunch: the floor is accessible by elevator, there are tables inside and outside, with an excellent covering that keeps things cool, protects from rain and hailstorms, and is surrounded by greenery. Simple and very good dishes, impeccable and friendly service, a beautiful place to eat in peace, we'll be back! Compliments to the gentleman who waits at the tables and to the ladies in the kitchen!

07/06/2025: Ours was a special experience, pilgrims traveling on the Don Bosco Way, we notified Mrs. Roberta and stopped for lunch at this restaurant. A little tired and especially fatigued by the heat, we found kindness and willingness to be able to choose what to eat, which allowed us to continue our journey without weighing ourselves down. We chose the appetizers: light, genuine and in the right quantity! And the desserts of course.... all really good! Compliments to the staff! And thanks again!

04/09/2025: Very nice location with a lake view. Tables are a bit cramped for four people. Friendly and fast staff. Extensive menu and good food. Prices are a bit high. There's also a children's menu.

26/08/2025: You're practically sitting on the beach, in a family-friendly atmosphere, and the excellent quality food in generous portions confirms that you've chosen the best bar/restaurant in the area.

15/08/2025: Working with customers means welcoming them, or at least not making them feel uncomfortable with your jokes. I arrive with friends for a drink, and when we ask for pineapple juice, instead of replying, "We offer local organic products, so we have other flavors," we're told, "We have Piedmontese products, and until proven otherwise, pineapples don't grow in Piedmont." This wasn't even accompanied by a laugh or a smile to soften the unsolicited joke about where pineapples grow. The waitress's communication problem persists when she asks for three small bottles of water, with a counter-proposal, "Okay, let's make a large one," bringing us a glass carafe. It's unprofessional to communicate with customers in such a colorful and off-putting manner.

14/08/2025: We opted for lunch at this restaurant, but we didn't look at the menus at the entrances—very bad, I'd say! There's little choice, in fact...very little! Menu branch until 11:30. The specials of the day were announced verbally, thinking they were a first and second course menu, even though the menu says "First and Second Course Menu," which could include water or coffee, but they don't. But there's no cover charge, and the bread they make costs €2. Vegetarian dishes, sandwiches, and traditional dishes, but with few options. Maybe they're trying to optimize the menu just so there's not too many options to choose from. In the end, we chose: A first course menu A second course menu A plate of gnocchi A fruit tart Water €37 Would I go back? No!

10/05/2025: C'était un lundi soir. Nous logions dans le centre de Turin. Tous les bons restaurants étaient complets. Nous avons atterri au Bifro. En poussant la porte, nous avons compris que l'endroit manquait d'authenticité. Au final, une facture délirante pour un repas banal. Aïe !

21/06/2025: Great bakery. We lived in the same building, and the smell was fantastic every day! We tried all sorts of croissants, and they were truly delicious and highly recommended.

07/06/2025: We went for an aperitif on Saturday at 6pm. We ordered 2 proseccos, 1 iced tea and 1 iced coffee with some snacks. We brought the drinks to the outside table and we started off badly. After 5 minutes, 2 small savoury croissants cut into pieces and a bowl of crisps arrived. At 6.40pm a girl started to clear away the whole outdoor area, removing chairs, tables and closing the umbrella.... making us understand that we should have gotten up... So we did... I went in to pay... 28 EUROS FOR AN APERITIF THAT WAS WORTH HALF.... I brought everything to the table, there was nothing to eat and you gave me a prosecco for 10 euros???? NEVER AGAIN..... HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

19/08/2025: We chose this location for the picnic in the vineyard they offered. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by a girl who, I must say, was VERY KIND and extremely helpful. But it was a nightmare. Okay, sandwiches and wine. She pointed out a single tree as a reference for some shade. Now, if you're offering a picnic in the vineyard, let it be in the vineyard! The tree was occupied. So we set off walking in 37-degree heat, looking for a place to sit. I almost felt sick!!! The girl then brought me a glass of magnesium because she saw me... We reached the top and nothing. The photos on the website are extremely misleading; there are no prepared picnic spots, no bales of hay, no blankets, no tents, my ass!! And the poor thing didn't even know what was at the top of the hill; she'd never been there... So, when she told us there were plants at the top, we were the ones who told her there was a road and the plants were on the edge of a sheer drop. Absolutely negative, no ifs, ands, or buts. An experience suggested just for the sake of it, perhaps to be done in the evening.

29/07/2025: We got married here, and we couldn't have asked for anything better. The setting is enchanting, meticulously maintained, and refined. Beauty, hospitality, and passion reign supreme. The cuisine is top-notch, with Michelin-starred dishes that speak for themselves: from the exquisite aperitif to the tastefully selected wines, to the four courses served at the table, which were simply sublime. We received enthusiastic compliments from all our guests. But what truly made everything perfect was Monica: a constant presence, discreet, kind, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. She guided us with care and dedication from the very first meeting, offering precious advice and a rare availability. We always felt at home, welcomed as people, not as clients. Never, not even for a moment, did we sense that annoying, self-serving attitude that unfortunately often comes across when the word "wedding" is mentioned. At Tenuta Carretta, everything was transparent, sincere, and cared for with the heart. We would marry them 100 times over, and with them.

24/04/2025: Purtroppo, forse perché era il giorno di Pasqua e il locale era al completo, abbiamo riscontrato poca professionalità, lentezza esasperante, 35 minuti tra una pietanza e l'altra. Qualità della cucina scarsa. Antipasti pochi ma buoni. I primi piatti sconditi e insipidi, il risotto al vino fumé acido e immangiabile. I secondi di carne, menomale che la quantità era scarsa perché cucinati almeno due giorni prima, peccato per le patate buone ma di quantità scarsissima. La pastiera buonissima. Prezzo troppo alto per la qualità. Personale poco attento alle esigenze e opinioni dei commensali.

23/02/2025: I discovered flavors of yesteryear with a delicious Piedmontese-style fritto misto, a welcoming place, and very friendly staff. I also liked the fact that you could eat slowly, without being rushed by overly fast service, so you could savor everything, chat, and enjoy the meal. Fair prices, we'll definitely be back for the paniscia 🤩

15/06/2025: Ottimi piatti della tradizione piemontese. Abbiamo cenato e mangiato anche a pranzo e abbiamo degustato varie pietanze, tutte ottime. Dolci compresi. Proprietario e personale molto ospitali e gentili. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

16/05/2025: Siamo capitati in questo ristorante quasi per caso, due coppie di amici accomunati da diverse intolleranze alimentari, tra cui glutine e lattosio. Quella che doveva essere una semplice cena di passaggio, si è trasformata in una bellissima sorpresa. Il menù è incredibilmente versatile, con numerose opzioni senza glutine (praticamente tutto il menù), ma ciò che ci ha colpiti di più è stata la disponibilità e l’attenzione dello chef: pronto a modificare piatti per adattarli anche a chi ha intolleranze al lattosio, senza mai farci sentire “di troppo” o complicati. Abbiamo sentito davvero la cura, la passione e il desiderio sincero di includere tutti nella bellezza di un pasto condiviso, fuori casa. Un’esperienza che ci ha riempito il cuore, oltre che lo stomaco. Torneremo sicuramente in questa piccola perla di Torino.

06/08/2025: I often come here in the evenings after work when I don't have time or desire to cook. The staff are delightful, friendly, and helpful. They know my usual order and serve me almost without asking. Wait times are minimal, even when I order takeout. Excellent pizza and super competitive prices! Add it to your favorites. Well done, guys, and thank you!

01/08/2025: An excellent burnt kebab. Dry, with virtually no yogurt sauce. One of the worst kebabs I've ever eaten.

31/05/2025: Easter Saturday, trip to Miradolo Castle, we look for a quick lunch. We find this trattoria... to return to. First and second courses well prepared and also a little refined, simple but clean place. Clean and attentive service. The bill? Surprise for two 22 euros. I will definitely return. Of course it is a trattoria and not a restaurant with stars but I assure you that I have eaten better than many renowned restaurants. 2 years ago I wrote that I would return and so I did. Again 5 stars. Good and well presented food. Very kind staff. A confirmation. Returned for the third time. Complete lunch with dessert for 2 people for a total of 36.00 euros. But I especially want to praise the pasta with cherry tomatoes, tuna and very light "bagna cauda". A delicious dish. Congratulations.
