09/05/2025: Beautiful bar on the outside and with large, spacious and comfortable interiors. Suitable for breakfasts, aperitifs, cafeterias. Friendly staff and a pleasant environment, even if especially in the afternoon it is mainly frequented by elderly customers.

07/02/2025: Stop before Antonio Ornano's show 300 meters away from the theatre. Very good sandwiches, prices too. The 2 guys who served us were kind and quick. It was Thursday evening and there was a room set up with tables for a burraco tournament, really nice and quiet.

25/06/2025: Total rudeness from the lady with dark hair, we arrive, we want to sit down and we clear her table because with cups from previous customers, we ask to order and she tells us to wait. Then other people come in and order before us. She steps aside and the other girl does other people first.. It almost seems like someone is bothering us in this place!

I would like the shopkeepers of San Salvario to consider the fact that even if you put a couple of chairs outside the door after two minutes you will find people sitting and ordering. That is, being in that area is a significant advantage. But this must be a further incentive to provide the best possible service. Having said this, I wanted to understand why, last night, at our request to drink your vermouth, which is also produced by you and therefore certainly a distinctive element of the place and your point of pride, we were served less than an inch each in a small glass. A dose that I consider just a taste. I don't know how much it cost because my friend paid, but none of the 5 of us at the table were satisfied with your precious and very good vermouth. Sorry but you could have offered us a whole bottle, 5 of us would have finished it without difficulty. Maybe you thought about our driving license points but we live in the area, it wasn't necessary. So I invite you to review the doses of vermouth served... it's an excellent product. Be more generous, you will see that you will have an excellent return. See you soon Fabrizio

22/04/2025: I had to get a better idea of ​​this place, especially after hearing about its "industrial chic style" and the selection of informal platters and plates. Unfortunately, my experience was anything but positive, and I'm sorry to say it, but this place barely deserves 2 stars. Let's start with the cutting board, which should be the flagship of a place like this: cured meats and cheeses that seem to have come from the refrigerated counter of a discount supermarket. No particular flavours, no artisanal quality, just flat and characterless stuff. Chicken wings? Definitely terrible: not very tasty, almost rubbery, and served with a sauce that was unable to mask the lack of freshness. The environment, of course, is interesting with that mix of industrial archeology and modern design, but when the food disappoints so much, even aesthetics take a back seat. The service was average, neither particularly slow nor particularly attentive, but certainly not enough to lift the experience. If you are looking for a place to eat well in Turin, unfortunately this is not the case. Maybe it's fine for a quick aperitif (if you don't care about the quality of the food), but for a real gastronomic experience, there are much better options in the area. It's a shame, because with a little more care in the selection of products, it could be a completely different place. I won't be returning, and I don't recommend it to anyone looking for more than an Instagrammable setting.

06/03/2025: Avevo vinto una box di Boscolo a un Premio Letterario (la Fine Dinner - 159 € per una cena per due persone) e ho scelto (ahinoi) questo ristorante. Ho avuto molte difficoltà nella prenotazione nonostante abbia seguito alla lettera le indicazioni e abbia chiesto più volte conferma telefonicamente, e, una volta giunti sul posto il proprietario (Nicola?) è venuto al nostro tavolo e in modo poco gentile ci ha detto che non potevamo usare la box perché bisognava attendere che Boscolo rispondesse (o qualcosa del genere, perché parole ne ha dette tante). Allora io ho risposto che avrei cenato altrove e ho fatto per alzarmi ma lui, piuttosto di cortese e trattandomi letteralmente come una barotta ignorante (o almeno, io in quel momento mi sono sentita tale), ha attivato tramite il sito di Boscolo la box e in meno di 15 secondi Boscolo ha risposto. Da quel momento la nostra cena è stata un incubo: frasette ironiche ma taglienti da parte del sig. Nicola che invece trattava gli altri clienti con deferenza, allusioni al fatto che io avessi "parlato fin troppo" quando invece avevo semplicemente spiegato che la prenotazione con la box mi era stata confermata con ben 2 telefonate e, alla fine, al momento di salutarci, si è ancora permesso di chiedermi se mi ero calmata! Io? Ha fatto tutto lui! Che non fossimo clienti graditi è stato chiaro fin dal primo momento, quando ci ha chiesto da dove arrivavamo e se eravamo già clienti, e la sua grande scortesia ci ha rovinato una serata di relax. Quanto al cibo, nulla da eccepire (se non che io e il mio compagno di questa avventura abbiamo dovuto PER FORZA scegliere gli stessi piatti perché così ha imposto l'onnipresente signor Nicola), ma un buon ristorante si valuta anche sul piano della cortesia... Insomma: un buon ristorante è dove ci si sente a proprio agio e non dove il proprietario o chi per lui ti umilia in continuazione? ESPERIENZA PESSIMA, OVVIAMENTE DA NON RIPETERE. Quanto al sig. Nicola... non glielo ha mica ordinato il medico di essere presente sulle box di Boscolo! Se tali clienti lui noni reputa all'altezza del suo locale, eviti accuratamente e scelga chi è degli di sedersi ai suoi tavoli!

26/07/2025: The strong point of this restaurant is definitely the enviable view of Piazza Vittorio and especially the Mole Antonelliana 🔝. The location is very quiet and secluded, being on an internal street right under the Monte dei Cappuccini 💯. The food, however, in my opinion doesn't live up to expectations. Many dishes on the menu are classic, with medium-high prices and portions that are a bit too small. It remains average for a good Piedmontese restaurant, like so many others 🤓.

20/06/2025: Today I purposely go to the place from Milan at 12.15. The counter is almost empty, a few arancini with meat and butter and two other little things. Different prices compared to the video of a few weeks ago of Franchino the criminal. Total disappointment, little selection, too bad. I took a half-liter bottle of water and ran away.

25/04/2025: A wonderful discovery: it is a new management thanks to which the pizza is very light, good and with highly refined recipes and raw materials. The use of the best flour guarantees a dough that is very easy to digest so you don't feel sleepy, thirsty or general slowdown caused by digestion. In fact we were also able to taste the desserts, which were really delicious! We will definitely be back to try all the delicious pizzas available. Kind and very honest owner, fair prices, even a little low for the quality offered. Highly recommended, we will return often!

27/07/2025: This is terrible, I made an order and they brought me another one. There were 4 of us, they brought 3 glasses, we asked for another glass 3 times, they didn't bring it, I had to go get a glass myself. Then they brought it to me. The dishes are expensive, the portions are small, the photos and food do not match. The waiters are slow and not very friendly. There is a price and I want it to meet my expectations. This is the first time I've found myself in such a situation.

Yesterday we asked for spaghetti with ragù but it seemed like pasta with sauce (without minced meat), risotto with saffron (without saffron) in short I was very disappointed with how the quality of the food went down like this 😞
