04/11/2025: One of the Mc's I use most often and the staff and the place are always nice to return to.

26/10/2025: The place is clean and not crowded, and it's a pleasure to eat there. The staff are courteous and helpful.

14/09/2025: We waited an hour after ordering for a pizza. And not a word of apology. It was good, but...that long wait isn't my thing.

10/09/2025: Lo Stivale is a true pizzeria for locals. No tourist traps. The pizzas have a lovely thin, crispy crust and generous toppings. Delicious. The homemade desserts are also delicious. The prices are very reasonable. In short, we'll definitely be back.

16/09/2025: Very disappointing because of misleading advertising. The server announced that the appetizers included nachos, peanuts, and complimentary bruschetta. Unlike the larger tables, there were no bruschetta for us. The cocktails were good, but we were disappointed because there's much more generosity elsewhere. Avoid.

05/10/2025: An unplanned lunch stop while just passing through Callianetto was a pleasant surprise at Ciabot, where, even without a reservation, I was lucky enough to find a table. Two appetizers and a main course were very good, simple in their simplicity, with friendly and fast service. I'll have to return because the menu was all inviting, but my stomach wasn't big enough! Special mention for the green tongue... Spectacular!

04/10/2025: The magic of dining! Unpretentious, sincere cuisine that takes you back to ancient flavors, the bold ones that gently caress you... A quiet place to gather with friends or family. The dishes are traditional with a touch of something extra, perfectly executed and beautifully balanced. Daniela is a cook, a host, a traveling companion who knows how to guide you with cheerfulness and discretion, and with the genuineness of an old friend. 25/05/2025: I would define 4 tables and 1 baby grand piano: the wonderful atmosphere of this place. We ate the Piedmontese boiled meat on the trolley and I think he is the only one in Turin to serve it in this way. An excellent dessert from a small Piedmontese winery, strictly Piedmontese meat from local breeders, pears cooked in the dolcetto for dessert and to finish the coffee in the moka with a complimentary homemade liqueur. 09/05/2025: Very few seats (positive for me) which makes it intimate and with a pinch of magic. Typical Piedmontese dishes such as fried food, bagna and others. For me, boiled meat, sauces, wine and appetizers are certainly the best dishes. Maybe just a bit expensive compared to the portions which are really small. Courteous, polite owner made us feel good 😉

03/03/2025: It's not a tasting. It's a culinary experience. Filippo is capable of stirring emotions in every way. The quality of the food is astonishing, with flavors you'd be hard-pressed to find just around the corner. The wine is extraordinary and offers customers the opportunity to choose the finest products from the finest labels. It's certainly not a place for everyone, but then again, everything of value has its fair price. Fantastic.

23/04/2025: Nothing to say about the location and the quality of the products, however the owner was rude towards me and my wife. The son, however, kindly offered us a bitter to apologize.

13/10/2025: We arrived a little late for lunch and asked if there was room. The waitress told us we could get in line: the place was full, and a couple was already waiting ahead of us. After about ten minutes, they seated us, and as soon as we were seated, they informed us that the kitchen had just closed and they could only serve us platters. We accepted, more out of hunger than anything else, even though we had come specifically to try the polenta of the day. The platters were generous and made with quality ingredients, but the price (€77 for two with a water) seemed a bit high. Overall, a decent experience, but it would have been more appropriate to let us know right away that the kitchen was already closed.

13/10/2025: I hate to give 5* for the food, service, and ambiance, because that's what's really worth it. I'm giving it 1 star because it's not possible that every time someone pays in cash, the receipt never gets stamped. It's not possible! At least give them a discount!

20/08/2025: A wonderful place to stop for a coffee with exquisite homemade pastries. The waitresses are very attentive. The cakes are baked downstairs in their own oven.

14/07/2025: Very friendly, typical and above all very well-equipped little town! I would like to give a huge thumbs up for having made bins available almost everywhere, which fortunately forces tourists to respect them! I was afraid of walking around the lake and I must say that I was surprisingly surprised by the facilities!!!! Tourists are spoiled! The little tourist train, nice! And above all very practical! The island to visit, a haven of peace!!! Very quick crossing by small boat, with very friendly and attentive staff. Small downside.... There are many restaurants, menus and drinks that are decent, but from the start and automatically we are spoken to in English, whereas it would be more pleasant in Italian!!!!
