23/07/2025: Very clean place, even with respect to the clientele. Nice, quiet, shaded by the large pergola, excellent for aperitifs or a quick sandwich. I came to a karaoke night with a reserved table, ate well, drank even better, and had a great time with those less fortunate but with a great zest for life.

13/10/2025: A spartan tavern like it used to be. No menu and only two menus, one with mushrooms and the other with limited choices. Three appetizers, two first courses, and two second courses. The tagliolini with ragù are light on meat; the ones with porcini mushrooms are better and tastier; the fried ones are good. The prices are still reasonable. The owner is friendly and the staff is friendly.

07/10/2025: Aside from the slightly dated feel of the place, which I don't care about, certain dishes are unmistakable. Spaghetti with clams arrived without the slightest hint of garlic. When I tasted them, they were buttered spaghetti—I repeat, buttered. The sauce for the sautéed clams was absent, with clams "thrown" on top. The dish might have a flaw, but messing up such a common, classic dish is a sign of incompetence. It's a shame, because the other two dishes were decently made and saved me from giving a terrible review. The staff was pissed off, but even when I made my reservation over the phone, they asked me in the afternoon whether I'd be eating à la carte or pizza, whether I'd have raw or cooked food. How do I know what I want for dinner at six in the afternoon? My response, "I'll see when I get there," was followed by a "whatever," which honestly tempted me to cancel the reservation.

26/09/2025: Overall an excellent dinner, a bit like a roller coaster though, alternating above average dishes with dishes with banal errors, standard service but a bit listless... but still a pleasant place to return to

07/10/2025: ...what can I say... Orto dei Nonni is a truly authentic venue, nestled in a stunning landscape. We turned to them to help us plan our wedding and our daughter's baptism on a tight deadline. They managed to coordinate everything flawlessly, offering both excellent catering and impeccable bed and breakfast service for our long-distance guests. Healthy, plentiful food, featuring a variety of their own ingredients, accompanied by excellent Piedmontese wines 🍷 A value for money unlike any other ✅ Congratulations 🎊 again, and thanks to Lidia, her husband, and the entire staff...

02/10/2025: Truly, many, many compliments for this agriturismo, which is, to say the least, perfectly run, from the location, which is immaculately kept and spotlessly clean, to the traditional and non-traditional dishes cooked with passion, the punctual and impeccable service. Mrs. Lidia and her husband are truly exquisite people, attentive to the customer and very precise, as are their staff. The wedding reception was a great success. I highly recommend this agriturismo. 31/10/2025: We were there today, October 31, 2025. We had lunch outside at the tables facing the town square. The weather was perfect. The service was prompt and courteous. The hot and cold appetizers were special and delicate in flavor. The tagliolini with hazelnuts were superb! The braised meat was exceptionally tender and tasty. The hazelnut cake with zabaglione made by them (like the fettuccine and the bread), all with an excellent local Bonaeda. I'd say I made a good impression on my four guests! 24/10/2025: I have to be honest, a group of friends and I booked a table at the Gelsomino restaurant and had lunch. The place looks nice, but honestly, neither I nor my fellow diners were thrilled with the food. The service was barely adequate, not to mention the confusing selection of dishes, from the tasting menu to the à la carte menu.

14/10/2025: Ooooh!!!! Finally a pizza worthy of the name!!! Real pizza with a high crust! Quality ingredients, delicious, non-acidic sauce. Fabulous (sweet) lobsters...highly recommended for those who love real pizza!!

24/10/2025: The best agnolotti with roast beef sauce we've eaten in 12 years in Piedmont. So good we didn't even have time to take a photo. I'll just leave you with the taste of the remarkable bonet bianco. Everything was delicious!

20/09/2025: I've been coming here for years, excellent food, no cover charge, very kind owner, if I may recommend... it would be better to remove the plastic protection on the counter because it somehow reminds me of Covid and it's rare that they are still used.
