22/08/2025: We discovered this trattoria by chance after a wine tasting in the area, and what a pleasant surprise! Simple yet elegant, it's the kind of place where every dish immediately reflects the highest quality ingredients, all locally sourced, cooked simply but with incredible flavor. For starters, we had a selection of cold cuts, including a fantastic culatello with gnocco fritto, beef tartare, and vitello tonnato, each plate better than the last. For the main course, the braised suckling pork belly, crispy on the outside and tender inside, was truly delicious. The wine list, it goes without saying, is excellent; it's hard to pick a "wrong" bottle. Prices are slightly above average. 25/08/2025: We are two cyclists, and after seeing this place, we returned due to the kindness of the lady who, along with her brother Marco, welcomed us with cuisine that was nothing short of amazing!!! The appetizer was exquisite, the first courses were excellent—plin with lavender and herbs—and the tagliolini with mushrooms were excellent!! (Marco was honest and sincere in saying that since we didn't have porcini mushrooms, there were no mushrooms, but the dish was delicious anyway!!!) And what about the second courses!!! The delicate and sublime tongue was excellent!! Antonella's desserts were delicate and sublime!! More courtesy, kindness, professionalism, and honesty in the cuisine, with exquisite use of raw materials! We will definitely return and recommend this gem and rare pearl for superior quality slow food!!!

21/07/2025: Che dire, il nostro ristorante ideale della domenica, senza troppi fronzoli ma che bada soprattutto al sodo (la cucina). Abbiamo trovato questo storico ristorante, perso fra le colline del Monferrato casalese ed è stato una piacevole sorpresa. C'è il menu fisso (cosa che io preferisco) ma volendo anche la carta. Si parte dai classici antipasti monferrini (molto apprezzato che la signora passi a chiederti sempre il bis), semplici ma buonissimi (cito la carne cruda di fassona, la frittatina al gorgonzola, le melanzane,...) poi la scelta tra uno dei due primi e uno dei due secondi. In realtà, alla fine, siamo riusciti ad assaggiare tutto: agnolotti al ragu bianco e risotto alle mele, trippa in umido e tagliata (eccezionali) , perché la signora passa a chiedere se si vuole un assaggio (generosissimo) anche di ciò che non si è scelto, stessa cosa per i dolci (alla fine abbiamo assaggiato anche il bonet). Una considerazione sulla lamentela che ho letto relativa al servizio "troppo veloce"; personalmente non sopporto quei posti dove ti siedi alle 13.00 e ti alzi alle 17.00, con tempi biblici tra una portata e l'altra. Va bene parlare, ma lo si può fare anche mangiando, quindi, per me, qui allo sciapa pum, la sequenza e i tempi delle portate sono stati perfetti! Infine, il vino scelto (della zona) era ottimo e i prezzi decisamente onesti. Quindi, anche se veniamo da un po' lontano, ci torneremo sicuramente.

29/06/2025: Da tempo frequentiamo questo ristorante e vorremmo farlo più spesso perché è sempre inappuntabile sia per la qualità della cucina sia per la cordialità della padrona di casa che porta avanti una tradizione di famiglia iniziata tanto tempo fa.

23/07/2025: A truly chic and elegant place. Different from the usual restaurants. Service was a little slow, but since it was a Sunday lunch, it might be perfect for those who want a relaxed, unhurried experience. The off-menu first course was exquisite: ravioli stuffed with scallops and shrimp, creamed in butter and lemon...tasty yet delicate, each flavor was distinct. The French fries were delicious, and the Sacher torte with a double layer of jam was superb. The view from the place, between buildings and along the road, leaves a bit to be desired. Oh, I forgot...the spritz was super generous and absolutely delicious!!!

22/06/2025: Parking easy to find, very nice and clean place, excellent and friendly service, excellent raw materials, well presented and prepared dishes. Prices are below average for a gourmet restaurant.... so it's mandatory to try👍. Compliments to the Chef and see you soon

20/07/2025: Premesso che spiace sempre molto lasciare recensioni e commenti negati ad un locale, credo però sia doveroso farlo nella speranza che possa essere vista tale constatazione come un critica costruttiva: Ci siamo recati in questo locale colmi di molte aspettative attratti da location indubbiamente molto bella e spunti ricercati. Ma quando ci si siede alle 20-45 e ci si alza più di due dopo riuscendo a mangiare 2 piatti su 3 ordinati (un antipasto e due secondi) per una attesa davvero troppo lunga, e su tre ti arriva un’ora dopo un piatto non tuo che nemmeno mangi, tutta la magia viene meno, inclusa la fame che ti passa. Si nota, che Al resto della sala arrivano piatti con tempi diversi ed era palpabile la confusione in cucina e tempi lunghi di attesa, già velatamente accennati dalla responsabile in sala. Il piatto non nostro, che a mala pena assaggiamo più per fame, lo lasciamo lì, e ci viene offerto per scusarsi per l’errore. Successivamente per rincarire la cosa ci vengono offerti due calici di vino rosso (se posso permettermi decontestualizzati dal Momento che bevevamo un bianco, ma nn importa.. si apprezza l’impegno) Ciò che nn ci può stare, è che al momento di pagare il conto nel riepilogo ci si chieda di pagarlo. E ci si faccia notare l’omaggio della Barbera cosa piuttosto sgradevole, ma soprattutto dal momento che nessuno aveva chiesto facendo la stessa fine del piatto non nostro. Credo che le serate storte capitano a tutti, ma è anche pur vero che se si cerca di ricucire errori non si devono fare altri scivoloni al momento di concludere. Suggerisco più attenzione, in tutto.. avete un bel locale a mio avviso pieno di potenzialità.

Quedamos tan impresionados con el flujo constante de comida y vino bellamente preparados y los generosos extras. Recomiendo encarecidamente este restaurante : el mejor dinero puede comprar
