We wanted to tour the beautiful Langhe and found this place very charming. Modern and very clean. Excellent service, truly excellent quality of ingredients. A traditional dish with a trio of appetizers, ravioli del plin, sliced ​​Fassona beef, and panna cotta with honey. We drank Barolo, all their own production. A truly positive experience! We promised ourselves we'd return for the winery tour and another wonderful lunch!

Everything was perfect: the staff were friendly, helpful, and kind. The food was excellent, the prices fair. The atmosphere was modern and designer, and there was an entire wine cellar (they are direct producers) to visit and taste. Another highlight is the location, just outside the town of Barolo, which allows for convenient parking. Well done.

A fantastic place to enjoy typical Tuscan dishes with the option of tasting wines from their cellar. Ideal for discovering the quality of their wines. Special thanks to the very friendly staff. I would definitely return with immense pleasure.

We had a truly wonderful time. Delicious food and very friendly and helpful staff! Their homemade focaccia was a real treat, even my 8-month-old daughter ate it—and you know, babies don't lie! The wine selection was carefully explained! We'll definitely be back to try the rest and do a proper tasting!

We went there for my birthday on Saturday, April 4th, and I personally had a great time. The prices seemed lower than other restaurants in the area, but we ate (and drank) well. The only thing is that I expected a more "rustic" atmosphere, even though it was very well-kept and clean.

The bistro boasts a contemporary and bright style, thanks to large windows offering spectacular views of the surrounding vineyards. The cuisine pays homage to Piedmontese tradition, revisited with a light touch and clean aesthetic. Highlights include Vitello tonnato "come una una volta" (old-fashioned veal with tuna sauce), ravioli del plin with three roasts, and a selection of carefully aged local cheeses.

04/05/2026: We ate at the restaurant the evening of April 2. I have to say that this is the perfect place to stay. History, elegance. great museum time pieces but sadly the food was lacking. We were so disappointed. The meat was dry although the taste was there. The wine we chose was two times the price of the wine we had chosen the night before (same wine and year). We were so disappointed that we chose not to have a dessert. The lack of sauce, visual enhancement and staging of the food was disappointing. The hotel itself is breathtakingly inspiring and frankly I would stay here and probably will in the future but I will not eat in the restaurant.
12/04/2026: What a joy to have discovered this magnificent castle! The beauty of the site and its surroundings, the quality of the rooms and restaurant, as well as the spa and wellness center, and the kindness and professionalism of the staff, always there to meet your needs and make your stay as comfortable as being at home. And the icing on the cake: a private guided tour by the Director to discover the history of this castle, a listed cultural heritage site in Italy. I loved it!!!! Thank you, Marie, April 2026

Ristorante Perlage

16/04/2026: After hearing so much about it, I went to lunch at Perlage last Sunday. A wonderful discovery! Upon arrival, the building's vibrant colors are striking, denoting taste and personality and instantly instilling a sense of joy. Upon entering, we were greeted by one of the owners who escorted us to a table in one of the rooms. The interiors are also very original and decorated! The atmosphere is charming and welcoming. Moving on to the menu, I immediately fell for the fried fish, offered in so many different variations, each more original than the last. It's a shame they didn't offer the "Big Bang," the version with Nutella sauce (!). Never mind, it'll be another reason to return. I had the "New Orleans" version, with Creole sauce and onion rings, and my wife had the "Acapulco" version with pico del gallo sauce. Both were delicious! The fried fish was impeccable: light and dry. Not to mention the originality of the presentation: the New Orleans is served "plated" in a model pink Cadillac, the Acapulco in a small sombrero! All washed down with a truly pleasant sparkling rosé, whose label I unfortunately don't remember. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the desserts, because after the abundant fried food, we didn't feel like ordering them. Anyway, the final verdict is: highly recommended!
