18/09/2025: We had lunch at this refuge before setting off on the hike to Lake San Bernolfo. What can I say? A wonderful experience all-around! The refuge is easily accessible by car and is located in a stunning natural setting with a cool stream and wide green meadows that disappear into the surrounding woods. As soon as you enter, the atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect from a well-maintained mountain refuge, respected by its owners. The staff is always friendly and helpful, whether recommending a dish or chatting about the history of the valley. We also really appreciated the refuge's idea of ​​providing post-it notes for guests to stick in the bathroom so they can leave a message for other travelers, and we obviously couldn't resist leaving one of our own, which we can't wait to find when we return. Add to all this the absolutely fair prices, generous portions, and amazingly high-quality dishes, and you have the perfect recipe to convince you to visit the Dahu refuge. You won't regret it.

23/10/2025: Fabulous! I found a spotlessly clean room with perfect linens + towel (for the shower) + shampoo (I booked a triple room where I found 2 clean bathrooms). I slept great at night! The property has so many amenities (kitchen / laundry / bar... / outdoor area / co-working and much more...) Usually I'm more into hotels but this time it was a great experience 😊 I recommend it.

24/08/2025: On Sunday, August 24th, I called to reserve a table for lunch. The owner was courteous and accommodating to my request. The restaurant is very welcoming and ideal for couples and families, with excellent service and friendliness. Regarding the choices I made (Fassona tartare and ravioli al tuccu), both the portions and the ingredients were of excellent quality and deliciousness. The flavors were delicate and decidedly delicious. I highly recommend the restaurant, as the friendly staff and the food are a perfect combination for an absolutely positive experience at the Molare restaurant.

09/10/2025: Large room, large bathroom, and large balcony. Clean. Good breakfast buffet. A bit noisy on weekdays, right on the street. Parking is available across the street. Staff and manager are friendly and accommodating. They always try to accommodate. Approximately 2 km to Stresa, not recommended for walking. No continuous sidewalk. Part of the way is on the street.

25/09/2025: A wonderful little hotel with very friendly staff who are happy to answer any questions. The hotel is located about 15 meters from Lake Maggiore. From the balcony, you have a wonderful view of the water. The breakfast buffet is fantastic! Everything you can imagine! One special mention should be that the boss bakes everything herself; it's simply amazing. We'll definitely be back.

20/08/2025: An ideal place to spend a few days in complete tranquility. The pool is well-maintained, as is everything else, of course. Fantastic views of the hazelnut groves. Excellent wine and food, with authentic local dishes, especially homemade! The staff is available for everything and very friendly. Highly recommended!

27/10/2025: In Castellania, where everything evokes the legendary Fausto Coppi, we were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The warm and discreet welcome is excellent, and the local cuisine is excellent, starting with the excellent Montebore and goat cheese, and continuing with the array of dishes on the traditional local tasting menu. The trofie with Montebore, the raviolini del plin with wild boar, the braised beef, and so on were particularly delicious. The prices are truly reasonable.

12/10/2025: We were welcomed and treated by the owner with a kindness that's hard to find these days. Her culinary passion is evident in her eyes. The food is excellent, with a special focus on local products, which were explained very well to us, including any allergies or intolerances. There were four of us, and we had a "tasting" lunch, with appetizers, first courses, and a spectacular second course (beer-cooked pork cheek), dessert, and coffee. Locally produced rosé wine. Everything was top-notch. Thank you!
