The place is run by staff who are decidedly too old, the food is edible but nothing memorable, fixed price menu of 16 euros per person (December 2025), we ordered an extra quart of wine: 4 euros more, in an area where you open the taps and wine comes out, it seems really too much to me.

I used to go there in the 90s for work reasons in the area, I came back and I must say that nothing has changed, a restaurant from other times with an excellent quality/price ratio, excellent and abundant dishes, a big thank you to all of Marcello's family for the welcome. Well done

We stumbled upon it by chance from Asti (10 minutes away), but I'd go back because the quality of the food is truly excellent. A historic family restaurant for generations. The owners are very kind. The raw meat and bagna cauda are top notch.

Recommended by my father, who used to go there many years ago during his business trips to the Asti area. Simple, typical Piedmontese dishes (I recommend the ravioli with ragù) are truly delicious. Affordable prices, fast service, and truly friendly staff. Everything was excellent.

13/04/2026: I'm reporting an unusual problem that has recurred three times in the space of two weeks: no coupon code or promotion for any of the offers available at the drive-thru doesn't work. Using the same code in the app and at the internal kiosk works perfectly. It might happen once, but after the third time, I suspect they're intentionally disabled to prevent people from using them.
07/04/2026: Excellent, fast, and very attentive to their customers. I think there are always professional managers, morning and night, who make sure everything runs smoothly, including cleaning.

Il Bar Della Piazza

20/09/2025: 1st, the oven is permanently shut down, they don't make any pizza. They only serve coffee and ice cream (both are excellent). 2nd, the blond middle aged lady was unpleasant, unsmiling and had an attitude like " get your ice cream and get lost", 3rd the place is an wonderful village piazza.
