10/10/2025: Unacceptable and rude treatment!! We were three adults and arrived at 9 pm on a Friday... with a concert going on just a few meters away... with the intention of having dinner and a drink. It doesn't seem like a late hour to me, especially in a restaurant located in a tourist area. As soon as we entered, we were immediately asked to leave by a waiter (the one in the photo), who rudely told us that if we wanted something "small" to eat, we had to go to the other bar, because we couldn't stay there. We simply looked at the menu, and he repeated the same phrase several times without any kindness or courtesy. This attitude seemed disrespectful and unprofessional. An evening ruined by service that was decidedly below expectations. I do not recommend this restaurant.

18/10/2025: The place is truly beautiful and well-kept, the service impeccable. The waiter was very professional and friendly. They even brought you flavored water to get you started. The menu is quite varied. The idea of ​​doing tapas so you can try different things was very nice. The food was really good; I had a very good pulled pork sandwich, as were the ravioli. We were very satisfied.

20/10/2025: Discovered this little place by chance while strolling through the streets of the Quadrilatero district. I recommend making a reservation (especially on weekends) because it's very popular and tends to fill up. The staff is friendly, professional, and welcoming. The dishes are distinctive and surprisingly excellent! We tried several meat and vegetable dishes and were truly satisfied! I can't decide which dish to recommend, all unique and delicious! Another highlight is the option to pair your dishes with Georgian wines—a truly unique and immersive experience!

26/08/2025: What a great restaurant, run by the loveliest family. Outside you enjoy a typical Piedmont view, and inside you sit in a charming old ruin. The family is truly exceptional – wonderful cooking, warm hospitality and great advice on both wine and food. We stayed in the Castello next to the restaurant and were lucky enough to eat here three times. We look back on it with great joy. Grazie!

21/06/2025: È stata una cena squisita sulla terrazza con vista. Siamo partiti da un antipasto leggero di pesce (fettine di spada e tonno) e tortino di melanzane, per passare ai primi dal gusto delicato (gnocchetti e ravioli), a seguire i secondi di carne (brasato e agnello) ma anche il salmone in crosta di sesamo. Abbiamo concluso il tutto con dei desserts ottimi. Il tutto accompagnato da un buonissimo barbera e dalla cortesia e simpatia del proprietario. L'impiattamento molto elegante ci ha permesso di assaporare il cibo dedicandogli il giusto tempo.

The point is knowing how to make them taste good, if you decide to serve them. You could have simply said no—a real chef does that, if a request doesn't meet his standards. But if you accept the order, serve it, charge for it, and then insult the customer, then the problem isn't my ignorance... but your presumption. And while we're talking about professionalism: when you declare "8-10 grams of white truffle," the scales aren't optional. Because if the measuring tool is "the chef's eye," then we're no longer talking about cooking, but about expensive improvisation. I haven't smelled truffle—neither on the nose nor on the palate—and that, in a dish from a restaurant that claims to be serious, should be enough of a reflection. I understand that it's easier for some to call an "ignorant customer" than to actually weigh what they're serving. But you see, that's the difference between a chef and an improviser: one accepts the comparison, the other justifies himself with insults. Besides, a restaurant that sells pans at the entrance is self-explanatory: perhaps they hope customers will go home and cook better. Regarding chatgpt, who writes reviews for me... I suggest you start using it by searching for the word CELIAC DISEASE so you can perhaps avoid your ignorance poisoning people... 😘

Very friendly staff, a historic property with plenty of charm, a beautiful, clean, and comfortable room, and a very good dinner.
