Welcoming place, excellent service and high-quality winter food. We celebrated New Year's Eve with the à la carte menu and it was truly fantastic. The owners are very kind and nice.

Sunday lunch before visiting the Mercatino degli Angeli in Sordevolo. There were three of us, including our little girl who now eats like an adult, so for appetizers we chose: fried breadsticks with culatello flakes, which our daughter loved. My wife chose a vegetable fry with Piedmontese semolina, dry and tasty. I chose a sublime raw beef dish with crunchy vegetables and a light bagna cauda. Overall, the combination wasn't bad. Perhaps the anchovy overpowered the deliciousness of the meat, but that's a matter of taste. Next, we ordered a first course for my wife: duck ravioli with julienned vegetables. The pasta had a lovely egg pasta color and was overall very well received. My daughter opted for a second course: braised beef with vegetables that melted in her mouth. I chose a sirloin steak with a Roquefort sauce and potato wedges. Needless to say, this dish was also a hit. Finally, more out of gluttony than hunger, we chose three desserts that capped off a very successful lunch. The wine that accompanied us was a 2020 Bramaterra. The service was always courteous, attentive, and never intrusive. The bill was adequate for the dishes offered. We'll be back soon.

Lunch for two during the week. The atmosphere makes you feel right at home. Very welcoming. Excellent food, crispy breading. Excellent service, my only complaint is the wait times. Even though there were only six of us in the dining room, we waited a long time between courses. However, I must say that if you're rushing out for lunch, you probably have other needs. We still felt just the right amount of pampered service. The prices may seem high; the name "taverna" suggests something much less pretentious. In the end, with two appetizers, a first course and a second course, two glasses of wine, water, coffee, and two desserts (homemade), we spent about €100 total. But that's in line with current prices. The quality is unquestionable, so the price is fair. We'll definitely be back.
