02/11/2025: Exciting, surprising, and curious. You have to be open-minded and willing to try new experiences and discover that eating can also be an adventure! Dining "in the dark" is an opportunity to be pampered while savoring new or familiar flavors, which sometimes you can't distinguish simply because you can't see them. Everything was beautiful, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the chef was top-notch.

10/11/2025: I was invited to an 18th birthday party, and we loved everything! In fact, I gave 5 stars for everything, but 4 stars conservatively because I don't know the prices and, therefore, the quality-to-price ratio... Otherwise, I highly recommend it. I particularly recommend the crudo dish, with shrimp, oysters, and other bivalves—spectacular even for those who aren't used to raw seafood.

31/10/2025: The atmosphere was intimate and very welcoming. The table service was prompt, but cold and disinterested. Throughout the dinner, not even at checkout were we asked how it went. The child's cavatelli with tomato sauce was completely overcooked, but he ate it anyway because he was very hungry and didn't want to wait any longer. The pasta was so soft it broke on the palate. I had a first course with creamed peppers, but it was very bland (I generally eat very lightly at home). The octopus appetizer on fava bean puree was good, but the portion was really small, so you have to ask for bread baskets. I didn't like the chestnut dessert, but I should point out that personal taste may have played a big part. I had intended to report this at the cashier if asked how it went, but nothing happened. Too bad, never mind. I chose it to celebrate my birthday and had high expectations overall, but for now, I wouldn't recommend it. UPDATE: NO, the customer isn't always right. I've adjusted my "food" rating (from 1 to 2). In fact, the child's pasta was inedible (zero), the octopus was a 3, and the bland first course was a 2. A "2" rating is probably more likely. In any case, I don't think it's very elegant or polite to criticize using such terms. But reading your responses, even to other less-than-positive reviews, only presumption, sarcasm, annoyance, and arrogance emerge. You need to accept that perhaps something went wrong with some customers, instead of criticizing everything in a harsh tone as if it were unacceptable and out-of-touch reviews. I even thought about returning to change my mind, but it put me off. Good luck.

29/10/2025: Always in search for a good meal in every location I visit. PerBacco did not disappoint one bit. Located a bit off the main strip, this place still maintains a warm and cozy charm about it. The surprising highlight was the complimentary stater of olives fried in tomatoes. For appetisers, the grilled octopus is mandatory. Perfectly cooked, not chewy and the tips of the tentacles were lightly charred and crunchy. For mains, rely on the owner to recommend a seasonal dish as the menu is on rotation. For dessert, I had a seasonal dish of chestnut mousse and whipped ricotta with dark chocolate.

12/10/2025: I had lunch with my family at this restaurant in Polignano, located just steps from the town square, on the recommendation of a local friend. As soon as I left, I called to thank him for the recommendation. The restaurant is welcoming and clean, the owner, who is also a handyman, is friendly, unpretentious, and never intrusive. Above all, the portions are generous and of the highest quality! The seafood cavatelli, in particular, prepared by the owner's mother, were spectacular! I know for sure that when we return to beautiful Polignano, we'll have no doubts, despite the fierce competition, about where to have lunch! Oh, and I almost forgot...the prices are fair, which further enhance the overall impression, which is overwhelmingly positive! Congratulations!

27/09/2025: Very good, flavorful dishes with perfect portions. The price is very fair, even including the bottle of wine. The fennel liqueur is a must-try! The restaurant is surrounded by greenery and is very welcoming, especially the small dining room in the internal courtyard. The staff and owners are knowledgeable, hospitable, and friendly, with special attention to our dog, Macchia. A final highlight is the unexpected company of cuddly and well-behaved kittens of all ages, from the nearby farm. Well-groomed and clean, they are available for adoption by anyone who will fall in love with them! We will definitely be back at the first opportunity!

Very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful staff, in addition to the owner and the head waiter/chef who are always ready to satisfy customer requests! Hot and cold appetizers of seafood and meat typical of our Puglia that you can see in the photos, speak for themselves! Hot bruschetta! Made to order! Raw seafood, very clean and portions are just right. For the rest, generous portions and high quality. The only flaw is no fried food, but I think that's the strong point: there's no point in covering up the flavor of fresh fish with fried food! A grilled fish and octopus, cuttlefish and shrimp is 100,000 times better! The meat alternative is also excellent! Really good fresh pasta with shellfish! A nice portion of fruit and everything at the right price without going overboard! Excellent value for money. From appetizer to dessert! Very hot and crispy Sporcamuss! The only problem: reservations are a bit long, they're always fully booked! We waited 3 months, but it was worth it! And we've already rebooked! It has several air-conditioned rooms, so it's a great place to stay! Highly recommended! Kudos to all the staff.
