22/04/2025: We had a wonderful meal, excellent service and very friendly owners. I recommend trying it.

16/04/2025: The service was great. There was no one there when I went there. The environment was very quiet. The food was delicious and the price was not expensive. The location is in a small alley and it will be a bit hard to find for the first time.

Posto pulitissimo così come i servizi. Non si trova in riva al mare, ma in un contesto meno panoranico, comunque nel pieno centro cittadino. Se devo scegliere tra panorama e sapore, opto per la seconda ipotesi. Complimenti ai proprietari, umili e gentili come mai prima d'ora.

It was a wonderful experience because to an impeccable and prompt service was added an exceptional quality of food, with dishes based on very fresh fish and well presented. I highly recommend it.

Recommended by friends we go for lunch and recommended by the waiter (super kind and professional) we agree to try the tasting menu excellent and super abundant appetizers, two tastings of first course and a second course in the price were also included the dessert (we were unable to eat it because we were too full) bitter and coffee at the price of €50 per person and forgot water and wine in the price ... we will gladly return highly recommended

Among the typical local dishes is the Tarantino calzone, a sort of half-moon ravioli drowned in tomato sauce with horse and flakes of caciocavallo cheese. They usually make generous first courses in a large pan, regardless of who had booked a tasting they still offer it. Truly super welcome.

30/05/2025: We had dinner and not knowing the place we started looking on Google we were attracted by the photos of some dishes I assure you up close they were spectacular even better the flavors were unique and delicate a spectacle for the palate the service was excellent I would have put only one star only because I learned from little Diego that he is an Inter fan he is also the dad but alas unfortunately there must be a flaw we cannot be perfect we are not robots 😉😜 .... 24/05/2025: I ended up there by chance and I have to say I liked it. Clean, very welcoming environment. You immediately sense that you will spend a few pleasant hours. The welcome from the staff then gave the right push. The refined dishes and generous portions. Attention to detail that certainly makes the difference. I recommend this place to those looking for a touch of style without too many frills.

It rarely happens to me to leave a restaurant with the feeling that everything has been done with coherence, competence and respect for the territory. Ambasciata Orsarese is one of those places where traditional cuisine is not only told, but actually experienced. The raw materials are local, fresh and of evident quality. The special effect is not sought, but balance: each dish has a meaning, a story and solid preparation behind it. You can perceive a real short supply chain, without compromises. The service was perfect: trained, courteous and present staff at the right point, without forcing. From someone who works in the sector, it is nice to see a room managed with this level of professionalism. A place to keep in mind for those who love authentic cuisine, done well and without pretence. I will definitely return, and I will recommend it with conviction.

11/05/2025: We discovered Macchiaviva during a trip to Grottaglie and were really impressed. There were four of us and we had lunch choosing a first course each, accompanied by a fried fish to share and, to conclude, two homemade desserts. Everything lived up to expectations, but the mussels, very fresh and tasty, and the artisanal desserts, which show the passion and care with which they are prepared, deserve a special mention. The dining room staff and the owner family welcomed us with great kindness, demonstrating rare attention not only towards us, but also towards our dog, who was pampered like an honored customer. We will definitely be back!
