Mimma and Antonio thank you again for another fabulous Sunday at La Pignata!

Cozy place, excellent food and friendliness. The quality/price ratio is also excellent.

We had dinner on Friday and had the opportunity to try this historic place in Taranto. A nice welcome and courtesy marked our arrival at the restaurant. For dinner we opted for the house appetizers and a tomahawk. The first part of the dinner then unfolded among the typical flavors of Apulian cuisine, with various dishes expertly prepared by the chef. The second instead was a vision for the eyes and a pleasure for the palate, after having chosen it on the tray, it was brought to us cut (cutting phase correctly carried out live in front of us) and then placed on a hot plate which completed cooking (depending on taste). During dinner we were pampered by the room service who was attentive to our every need. Finally Antonio, owner and true soul of the place who follows all the customers from the beginning to the end of the meal granting, as happened during our dinner, a cheerful happy birthday for a nearby table. To try and try again. A warranty.

Pausa pranzo di lavoro veloce e gustosa. A più riprese ho avuto il piacere di provare il loro menù senza restare mai deluso da una cucina tradizionale, genuina, con prodotti di prima qualità. Appena seduti focaccia calda e squisita offerta. Antipasto della casa ottimo per qualità e quantità. Carne ben cotta e di ottima qualità. Frittura freschissima e abbondante. Seppia alla griglia che si scioglieva in bocca. Servizio cortese, veloce e informale senza essere invadente. Prezzi rapportati alla qualità e quantità di quanto servito. Consigliatissimo. A distanza di breve tempo siamo ritornati con amici in questo ristorante prenotando un tavolo con anticipo per venerdì sera; abbiamo ordinato il loro antipasto composto da innumerevoli portate di terra e a seguire ci hanno offerto un assaggio di spaghetti alle vongole; per completare dolci e amari; è stato tutto di ns gradimento, gentilissimo il personale al servizio del NS tavolo; un doveroso ringraziamento ad Antonio che gestisce con tanta passione questa attività; contro 26€ a persona.

Dopo qualche anno siamo ritornati a cenare con amici in questo ristorante; sempre molto gentile e professionale tutto lo staff con a capo Antonio; abbiamo optato per l'antipasto composto da innumerevoli portate di terra; a seguire siamo passati direttamente al dolce optando per il salame al cioccolato; da bere oltre ad acqua dell'ottima birra alla spina; è stato tutto graditissimo, corretti i tempi di attesa; conto 45€ a coppia.
