25/08/2025: A simple fishmonger's shop from the outside, but once you sit down and eat, it's a real spectacle.
Fish, first courses, second courses, appetizers, fried dishes—something incredible. I personally had cooked salmon with side dishes, two mixed fried fish dishes, one calamari dish, and for the first course, the seafood lasagna. What can I say, ladies and gentlemen? Delicious, to say the least. The atmosphere is very basic, but if you want to return to tradition and origins, it's the perfect place.
I highly recommend going.

Vincenzo's chef's scialatiello is the synthesis of poetry and love.

The dishes we ordered were worth the wait.
The mixed fried food served in a crispy, non-greasy cuoppo, the rice ball and pasta frittata were excellent.
The first courses were served in a pan, so you could taste all the flavors of the various ingredients. The only flaw, for my taste, was that the pasta was a little undercooked.
The girl serving us was quick and attentive.
We didn't have to wait long for our dishes.
I recommend reserving a table since there aren't many.

21/06/2025: We showed up without a reservation because we were intrigued by the menu displayed, at an unlikely time, on a Saturday evening, in the middle of the summer season and...we were welcomed with kindness, promptness and professionalism by all the staff. Quick service, truly tasty and very fresh dishes. We will return tomorrow!

01/08/2025: We ordered two fresh fish, a mix of vegetables and fried potatoes.
Unfortunately, the skin of one fish was burnt and it tasted like that. The vegetables were also cold but maybe that's typical here.
I reclaimed the fish and got a very delicious polpetti (octopus).
The service was very nice and the reclaim was no problem.

20/06/2025: This evening I ordered a shrimp and calamari fry to eat at home, (I'll start by saying that I'm a fan of this dish, and that I order it wherever I go) the result was... FABULOUS. One of the best I've had (despite not living near the fishmonger) if not the best. A piece of advice, try it.

....ah, I forgot, everything is seasoned with an excellent dose of sympathy which never hurts.

24/08/2025: A historic restaurant in old Gaeta, tucked away in a small internal square.
Exquisite food and local ingredients. Their signature dish, the calamari, is a must-try.
Also try the sautéed truffles and the octopus alla Luciana.
The waiter Franco is an institution, courteous and professional.
The prices are fair, the tables are beautifully set and have tablecloths.
The trattoria has been there since 1920... and it will stay that way because it's one of the best restaurants in Gaeta. It's not a tourist spot; it's for locals who love good food.

The service was excellent, the staff was very kind and helpful, the food was incredible, every dish we ordered was prepared to perfection.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming.
I recommend trying this restaurant.
Kudos to Matteo and Chef Mirko.
24/08/2025: In my opinion, this restaurant has significant potential to reach a high level. The atmosphere is refined, and the staff is friendly, polite, and patient, as well as very responsive in providing service. However, we felt the attention to detail still needed improvement. A chipped glass at the table, and the wine list was out of date (the alternative wine offered was very good but not on the list). We found the ingredients to be of high quality, with a very good mixed antipasto. However, my friend's first course was very salty. In short, there's still a step to take to truly position itself at the top of Terracina's seafood scene.
