18/02/2024: My partner and I had dinner at Acqua Pazza, as we wanted to have a fine dining experience in Ponza, to celebrate the ending of our vacation in summer 2023. We went for the tasting menu whose dishes you can find in the pictures I am attaching to the review. We found the food well-cooked, simple, and yet tasty: personally, the dishes which really stood-out were the little ravioli with liquid tomato sauce and the chocolate dessert with several consistencies. The wine pairing was perfect as we savoured a white wine locally produced. There were - however - two negative sides to notice. Understanding we are taking about fine dining and high-end restaurants, we personally prefer a more informal atmosphere: we noticed that the restaurant manager was overly present and supervising all the operations, which made the experience a little bit too tight - maybe this can open a room for discussion and supervise the staff from a more distant situation. Secondly, a young couple started to smoke electronic cigarette in the table close to ours (thankfully, they left soon), with no action taken. Overall, I would recommend trying this restaurant as the location on the cliff is A+MAZING, the food and the wine pairing are worth it, and we had a great and romantic night.

02/11/2023: It is the only starred restaurant in Ponza and there must be a reason. Intimate and welcoming place with a wonderful sea view. I found the tasting menu excellent as well as the attention and service (even if we had to ask to slow down for a moment to avoid eating hastily). The entire menu is top-notch but the cuttlefish appetizer with pea and artichoke cream is truly superb. The swordfish marinated in soy was also cooked impeccably and very tasty. Sweet final level. The tasting menu costs 90 euros and is worth every penny.

23/09/2023: Ristorante carino serietà e gentilezza del personale Abbiamo mangiato veramente bene e siamo stati sulla terrazza all'entrata con tutto il bel panorama difronte. Consigliato (per chi vuol spendere qualcosa in più)😉🤣

13/09/2023: Il ristorante è grazioso e pulito. La qualità del cibo eccellente a cominciare dalle polpettine di melanzana offerte come entree insieme a vari tipi di pane tutti buonissimi! Antipasti deliziosi dalla parmigianina di melanzana alla scarola ripassata etc Poi abbiamo assaggiato un primo di risotto con gamberi e granella di pistacchio...super!!! La signora che ci ha servito (che poi insieme al marito sono i proprietari) veramente squisita e simpatica e attenta alle esigenze del cliente. Rapporto qualità prezzo onesto per la qualità del cibo! Bravissimi! Se torniamo a Ponza sicuramente sarà una tappa obbligata!

22/10/2023: Tutti gli anni nei fine settimana vado a ponza nel periodo estivo E pranzo sempre qui e devo dire che non lo cambierei con nessun'altro posto Cibo ottimo e pesce fresco ,prezzi accettabili .

16/10/2023: Sono stato a pranzo in questo ristorante proprio ieri con la mia compagna, personalmente per la prima volta. È stato tutto assolutamente perfetto, dal silenzio surreale ma bellissimo che si respirava nell’isola, dalla cortesia dei due giovani camerieri, sempre sorridenti, alla scelta del tavolino davanti al porto, e per finire dalla bontà dei piatti scelti. Un misto di antipasti di pesce, disposti in cerchio nel piatto, da assaggiare preferibilmente in senso orario dietro consiglio dello chef, estremamente buoni. Uno spaghetto al riccio di mare da ricordare per la cottura della pasta, per la bontà del Riccio e per l’impiattamento. Un’ottima Falanghina e dei dolci molto buoni. Conto assolutamente perfetto, con un piccolo sconticino non richiesto ma sempre benaccetto. Non conoscevo questo posto, ma mi sono ripromesso di tornarci ogni volta che tornerò a Ponza. Grazie a tutto lo staff!

19/09/2023: Siamo andati a cena per la prima volta in questo ristorante e la scelta si è rivelata più che buona: l'ambiente è piuttosto semplice ma anche curato e la vista sul porto è sempre piacevole. Il gateau con baccalà è squisito così come l'originale parmigiana rivisitata; altri piatti provati non ci sono parsi degni di particolare menzione. Personale affabile e cortese. Prezzi piuttosto elevati, ma non troppo.

17/09/2023: Ristorante storico di Ponza che si affaccia letteralmente sul mare! Location molto gradevole e ben frequentata. Interessanti tutte le proposte e trovati ottimi tutti i piatti provati in particolare la pasta con i gamberi di Ponza. Servizio attento, gentile e veloce. Prezzi adeguati alla qualità!! Da consigliare!

30/03/2024: Informal pizza restaurant. We were out of season right during the annual opening period. We tried both the pizzas and the fish; both excellent. Probably the only wood-fired oven on the island. The fish was really fresh and cooked well. Not to mention the kind and welcoming staff. In particular, Alfredo the pizza chef delighted us with his stories and ways of doing things. He could be a stand up comedian! If we had had a bed we would have stayed for the night as well so as not to leave the fantastic atmosphere. Affordable prices and in line with the island.

30/03/2024: The best wood-fired pizza in Ponza. We ate an excellent pizza in a nice and welcoming place. Alfredo the pizza chef and all the staff were very kind. We will definitely be back!

05/09/2023: Sono piuttosto"tirati" risparambiosi nelle quantità delle pietanze: la qualità è buona mediamente non eccelsa. Pasta con gli scampi: n. 3 dico 3 scampi in tutto!

03/09/2023: Il posto è un po’ difficile da trovare ma se si va all’ora del tramonto è tutto davvero indimenticabile, il panorama che si può avere su Palmarola è qualcosa di inspiegabile. Il cibo è buono ma mi aspettavo di meglio, il polpo arrostito ottimo ma purtroppo il pesce spada alla griglia niente di chè, la frittura assaggiata dalla mia amica invece era super. Una lode al giovane cameriere napoletano davvero bravo e simpaticissimo. Prezzi non economici.

02/01/2024: Une guinguette en bord de mer , ambiance et cuisine typiquement italienne , pasta simple et bonne produits frais, vins enjoués On y vient facilement en bateau et l on passe un moment joyeux et sans pretention

02/10/2023: Beach restaurant in a stunning location. Friendly, professional and pleasant service. Excellent food with many local and special products. They even picked us up by boat from the other side of the bay. High price but absolutely fair for the research in preparation, the view and the service offered. Well done

03/02/2024: Ottimo il caffè, buoni i dolci. A colazione si possono utilizzare i tavolini senza supplemento. Il personale non è però particolarmente simpatico.

10/10/2023: We had dinner at the beginning of October attracted by the enchanting location and refined environment. We had seen high prices but wanted to pamper ourselves. Unfortunately, a large part of the menu was not available due to the end of the season....and so we must either redo the menu with what is available, or communicate it immediately. Even the wine chosen was not available and they asked us if it was okay to replace it with another label that wasn't even on the wine list. The poor waiter was not in the profession and did his best. But with the asking price I expect professional service and a precise menu. Poor frying, good and seasoned paccheri al S. Pietro, anonymous mixed grill. For the desserts, only 1 Sfogliatella was available, the ones from the bakery were better, paid 8 euros, without even a bit of garnish. In the end they wanted to offer us a fennel liqueur, but a limoncello arrived because the other one was finished. Exhilarating!!! I'm sorry but you need to review your standards. The end of season excuse doesn't hold up. If you can't stay in line with the prices you ask for, close early or review the price list. The following evenings we continued on. Disappointed

01/10/2023: Cena con un gruppo di amici, l'unico piatto decente : i ravioli di pesce. Chi ha ordinato la pasta al pesto ponzese l'ha rimandata al mittente, e la cosa incredibile è che nessuno del personale ha voluto informarsi del motivo per cui non sia stata gradita. Fritto misto da pizzeria. Sconsigliato

23/09/2023: Abbiamo cenato venerdì sera, atmosfera suggestiva dovuta al cielo coperto che avvolgeva il porto di Ponza. Vista panoramica accompagnata da portate di qualità, consigliato il trancio di tonno: uno spettacolo! Prezzi onesti, siamo stati talmente bene che abbiamo prenotato di nuovo per la sera successiva!
