10/08/2024: A good restaurant, quite well known in the Circeo area, I'm happy to have tried it. The menu is certainly interesting, I tried the tastings, the hot ones were much better than the cold ones but overall a good selection of tastings. Spectacular mussels, I have to admit. It's a shame about the service, maybe it was because that evening they really had a lot of seats, and there were really a lot of people. In fact, we arrived at the reservation time and had to wait 10 minutes, during dinner the power went out for a few minutes, service was a bit slow and not very attentive. However, maybe it was just an unfortunate series of unfortunate events. But I will come back to change my mind because I think it is one of the best in San Felice for dining.

You had an isolated and welcoming place, high quality raw materials from fish to pizzas. You intended to move into that surreal aquarium where the fish - customers find themselves facing dishes that have become embarrassing. One of vs. a must, the scampi cream risotto for example, managed to make a table of my friends feel ill a few days ago. Have the installation and management costs of the new location advised you to plan radical savings on raw materials? A dispassionate piece of advice: sometimes a step back is a sign of humility and intelligence. Return to your previous location and your former quality. You and your customers will benefit. If, regarding my objective criticisms in this regard, the dear owner would like a personal discussion, I will be happy to meet him for a coffee. I'm not a "keyboard lion" but a person who has always put his face to it. So see you soon, I hope.

17/08/2024: Beyond the very tavern atmosphere, the quality of the fish is appreciable. What really doesn't go down well is the negligible quantity of the portions to say the least: both for the risotto and for the frying they were absolutely not worth the price.

Uncommunicative and friendly staff, awful meatballs with anchovies (bread only), dish rating definitely not among the best eaten in the city and very expensive (€30), overall unbalanced value for money. The environment could be much nicer and nicer. It's a shame because it would have been nice to have a point of reference for our evenings in Gaeta even independently...

03/09/2024: Prenotiamo per curiosità, ingannati dalla pubblicità sui social, che sono sempre più convinto andrebbero chiusi per legge :). Per dignita lasciamo perdere la qualità del servizio, degno di una media trattoria dei castelli romani ( senza offesa per quest'ultimi ). Lo spettacolo si apre con l'impossibilità di avere del normale pane (perche il locale dispone solo di focacce alte 5cm) ed un cameriere che ti versa nei calici del vino da 30 euro senza nemmeno degnati di farlo assaggiare prima. Passiamo poi ad un antipasto da 40 euro comprensivo di cozze gelate e/o prigioniere di una coltre di pangrattato bruciato che nemmeno un castoro avrebbe violato. Seguono dei primi piatti dove per il sentire l sapore del mare abbiamo fatto ricorso a tutta la nostra fantasia.....prima di uscire noto una parete piena di foto con attori e persone dello spettacolo. La cosa mi restituisce una grande soddisfazione e conferma che la popolarità spesso non si sposa con il buon gusto....

All very fresh fish and molluscs that in the nearby towns presumptuous snobbish restaurants would charge 150 euros per person, Terracina, Sperlonga, where the Rai half-length figures or Enel presidents go. There's a surprise here. The menu. In France you can choose the Degustation to taste a bit of everything and save money. Here is the only restaurant in Italy that has the Surprise menu where Chef Francesco gives his best. All things considered, it costs less than free choice on the menu. Exceptional every time, it is a challenge won by the Chef who innovates without strange tastes while respecting the 0 km flavor which is now very dear to them. It was all full. Impeccable service. Delightful place. The crazy sum of 30 euros for the not famous menu. It should double or triple like the shopkeepers on the coast do. I've never met them before. Thanks to these innovative gastronomic operations, they are ancient recoveries of values ​​and flavors. And let people understand how lucky they are. For now, thanks. And see you soon. 01/09/2024: Dinner with friends, the spaghetti with clams was tasteless. The frying is nothing special. However, the ideas proposed by the chef in the surprise menu are good. Friendly service. Fairly large internal table area. External tables 2/3 sloping tables a little uncomfortable but that's the pavement of the historic center that is made like this.

27/08/2024: In fact we couldn't order what we wanted, several starters were missing and he insistently offered us only the house starter. Having booked the day before we asked about the availability of gluten-free foods and we received a positive response, another surprise, when ordering, the owner, Gianfranco, informed us that the gluten-free first courses on Saturdays are not prepared, therefore either the risotto or opt for second courses. Thanks only to a very kind waiter we managed to have two portions of red snapper which were not available before 🤔. I thank the staff for their professionalism.

08/07/2024: Durante il matrimonio dei nostri amici i camerieri continuavano a togliere i piatti a noi invitati nonostante non avessimo toccato ancora cibo. Non potevi alzarti un attimo a fumare una sigaretta che in due secondi ti levavano il piatto! Ho mangiato solo il primo, gli altri piatti non sono stati neanche toccati da me, che spreco!! Capisco che il matrimonio dura fino a tardi e che bisogna rispettare le tempistiche, sicuramente i camerieri vengono indicati così, però in questo caso è stato veramente eccessivo e fastidioso! Inoltre: buffet finito subito e non ricaricato, sigari finiti subito e mai ricaricati, per non parlare del PREZZO ESORBITANTE PAGATO! Aggiungo anche che durante il matrimonio, di sfondo, c’erano bagnanti di ogni tipo e venditori abusivi che sostavano esattamente dietro a dove si svolgeva la funzione. La funzione viene svolta in un luogo angusto e piccolissimo, la pedana dove si cammina è molto pericolosa per bambini ed anziani, non ci sono abbastanza sedie per tutti, insomma UN POSTO DOVE NON TORNEREMO MAI PIÙ

The food is really great, the staff friendly and helpful. A special mention to Alba, attentive to every little detail (especially for us newlyweds)

18/08/2024: I don't want to dwell on responding to the owner's response regarding a review made by my cousin... regarding the disappointment with how the evening went... starting with the wait despite the reservation!!! Even though it was the middle of summer, and we were 10 people!! THE WAIT WAS EXAGGERATED!!!. I forgot maybe because we took too many different things as dishes???? bah, but maybe people have different tastes?!??? then I continue…. 2, THE FISH COULDN'T BE EATEN! And not because my sister-in-law is from Desenzano!!!! (for those who don't know, fish from the lake doesn't have much flavor compared to that of the sea... but it doesn't stink, it's not dark, and it doesn't taste strange in the mouth!!! )IN FACT THEY ALSO HAVE OTHER REVIEWS REGARDING THE FISH THAT IS NOT GOOD!!.. my celiac nephew only behaved politely in answering the questions that were later asked to him about the dish he had eaten, even if it wasn't what he had asked for!!! But that's okay... anyway I don't want to continue... because I wouldn't finish anymore... I definitely don't recommend it... especially if there are 10 of you... Or more!!!!! And if you are above all a lover of fresh fish or if you are celiac!!!!!..I forgot….
