03/06/2025: Davvero una scoperta questo ristorante a conduzione familiare a Porto Badino, ce lo aveva consigliato un amico e ci siamo fermati piuttosto tardi come orario ma non ci sono stati problemi. Un antipasto abbondantissimo di sautè di cozze, frittura di paranza, alici e moscardini, tutto locale, tutto buonissimo, ma talmente abbondante che ce lo siamo portato anche a casa. Spaghetti con le vongole davvero gustosi. Torneremo presto, anche per partecipare a una delle serate musicali che ci hanno detto di essere da non perdere!!

19/04/2025: A beautiful discovery! At the Tartufo Restaurant you eat divinely... well-finished dishes, authentic flavors and truly special attention to the customer. The environment is welcoming and familiar, perfect for a relaxing break or a nice evening with friends. The owner Pasquale with his collaborator Valeria are delightful people! I will definitely come back… highly recommended!

29/04/2025: Premessa: non mi permetto di esprimere un giudizio sul cibo, non essendo un esperto e nemmeno appassionato di crudi, ma esprimo un parere sul modus operandi del ristorante (ho effettivamente trovato riscontro solo ora, leggendo altre recensioni negative in merito) ovvero, nel momento della lettura del menù, si avvicina con molta gentilezza e cortesia il gestore per chiedere se si può procedere all'ordine...mentre si sta decidendo, chiedendo informazioni sulle varie portate, il gestore con molta discrezione chiede "volete provare un misto di antipasti così che possiate assaggiare un po' tutto?" ...e lì la trappola è scattata, ovvero si gioca tutto sull'interpretazione della frase: uno si aspetta un misto di antipasti da poter condividere con i commensali, ma nel conto finale ci sono i singoli antipasti quotati come da menù, ovvero come singole porzioni. A seguire un primo ciascuno, "un misto di dolci" (la tattica è la stessa :-) ), una bottiglia di vino e una di prosecco, conto finale: euro 612,00 in cinque persone (scontato a euro 550,00 perché le 5 ciotole di lumache di mare , costo euro 70,00, erano "offerte dalla casa", pagate comunque quindi 8 euro :-))) Ripeto non discuto la qualità del cibo perché non sono un esperto e nemmeno voglio mettermi contro chi dice di essere esperto, ma decisamente una esperienza negativa dal punto di vista della trasparenza e della comunicazione. Peccato perché a mio avviso non è una buona operazione e ne vale la reputazione.

29/04/2025: Premise: I don't allow myself to express an opinion on the food, not being an expert or even passionate about raw food, but I express an opinion on the restaurant's modus operandi (I actually found confirmation only now, reading other negative reviews on the matter) that is, when reading the menu, the manager approaches with great kindness and courtesy to ask if it is possible to proceed with the order... while you are deciding, asking for information on the various courses, the manager very discreetly asks "do you want to try a mix of starters so that can you taste a little of everything?" ...and there the trap is sprung, that is, everything is played on the interpretation of the sentence: one expects a mix of starters to be able to share with the diners, but in the final bill there are the individual starters quoted as per the menu, or as individual portions. Followed by a first course each, "a mixture of desserts" (the tactic is the same :-)), a bottle of wine and a bottle of prosecco, final bill: 612.00 euros for five people (discounted to 550.00 euros because the 5 bowls of sea snails, costing 70.00 euros, were "offered by the house", so you still paid 8 euros :-))) I repeat, I am not discussing the quality of the food because I am not an expert nor do I want to go against those who say they are experts, but it is definitely a negative experience from the point of view of transparency and communication. It's a shame because in my opinion it's not a good operation and it's worth its reputation.

06/04/2025: A very nice sandwich bar located in the center of Gaeta. On Saturday evenings there is always karaoke. Excellent food, staff always friendly. It is also very convenient for parking.

18/01/2025: Terrible, empty, I order a cappuccino and croissant but I'm forbidden to have breakfast at the counter "we are working at the counter, we don't have breakfast, only coffee" (???)

05/06/2025: Fabulous! We had lunch here on a weekday, the restaurant is elegant, the staff is kind and helpful, the waiting times are very limited. The food is delicious, I recommend trying the linguine with razor clams and a light sprinkling of chili pepper. I can't wait to eat there again. Last night, we had dinner here again, with my wife we ​​had spaghetti with shrimp and courgettes (Mrs. Stella is worthy of her name) and a mixed grill of fish for the second course. Well-executed dishes and genuine condiments.

26/04/2025: Everything excellent and well cooked. Fried calamari, very light and not at all greasy, ditto for the cod. Not least the gnocchi with grouper and spaghetti with clams. Compliments!!

The starter for two was really little, it was fine for one person and the two first courses were a real disappointment, good but the quantity was really paltry!!! Only the prices had increased... FAILED IN THE MOST ABSOLUTE WAY

09/10/2024: Locale molto carino e sito in una caletta molto molto bella. Il cibo offerto è anche buono ci mancherebbe...ma prezzi davvero esagerati. Una bottiglia di vino, per esempio, di una cantina di Ponza euro 48. Al supermercato euro 15. Mi sembra un rincaro davvero esagerato. Credo che debbano essere un pochino rivisti i prezzi.

06/10/2024: We had dinner at this wonderful place (We were enchanted by the amazing location) -arrogant staff - if I pay the first €30 he must know at least something, instead nothing (there were four of us, all four of us had the same problem) -spaghetti with lobster sauce? Pasta with tomato. Not to mention the desserts!!! I'm sorry, amazing location but with the service and food we're just not there

08/04/2025: Excellent reference to Circeo! Compared to the past years in which I frequented it, I think it has changed its format and is currently a restaurant, but it is still an excellent place to return to eat good fish. Right menu and variety of dishes, with simple and well-made proposals. Friendly and helpful staff, attention to cleanliness.

17/11/2024: Das Lokal wir von jungen Leuten geführt, die motiviert und speditiv arbeiten. Die Speisen sind einfach aber gut, die Stühle hoch und nicht sehr bequem. Aber man kommt nicht hierher, um einen ganzen Abend da zu verbringen.

23/09/2024: Restaurante de comida marinera con muy buenas opciones de platos tradicionales de la gastronomía ponzese. Estuvimos muy bien y disfrutamos de comida de calidad a precios razonables. Muy ricos los espaguetis con almejas y migas de pan tostado. Se trata de un plato estrella que nos aconsejó la maitre.

14/01/2025: Andato a Gaeta per vedere le luminarie e staccare un pò la spina..spinti dalla pubblicità in giro per il centro e sotto consiglio del proprietario del B&b decidiamo di andare a provare "la Cocina di Popolla" per cena. Essendo una sera di Gennaio ci accomodiamo nella sala interna ma ha spazio anche esterno. Locale gradevole ed accogliente , servizio altrettanto cortese e attento alle richieste. Appena entrati come benvenuto ci danno una sorta di "Bun" con scarole, per antipasto ho provato dei gamberi in tempura e una mayonese a limone fatta da loro e come primo un pacchero con polpo e olive nere. Riassumendo il tutto era gradevole, (maggiormente i paccheri e la loro mayonese notevole) ma tutte e tre le pietanze provate avevano un unico comune denominatore : Troppo Condimento! .. Contando che i prezzi per i primi sono anche un poco sopra la media, bisognerebbe aspettarsi anche pietanze "sopra la media" per fare un upgrade" e giustificare il tutto. Punto di vista che ho espresso anche allo Chef il quale è presente e gira sovente tra i tavoli, cordiale e simpatico.

01/11/2024: Locale con vista suggestiva in stile rustico e semplice, a conduzione familiare. Nonostante non avessimo prenotato ci hanno accolto benissimo. Cibo buono a base di pesce fresco con porzioni generose e ben cucinato. Prezzo modico. Sicuramente ci ritorneremo

05/10/2024: I'm sorry for Mr. Luca Altieri's review but.... I've always found pizza excellent, perhaps one of the best I've eaten so far. The rest of the catering is also more than good. If we then add the friendliness with which you are welcomed, what do we want to talk about! I recommend it to anyone who wants to find a truly familiar environment, as well as good food!

22/05/2025: I recommend trying the lobster for breakfast. Nothing to do with the crustacean, but it is a sweet with a sfogliatella riccia base. For the rest what can I say……. Even at lunch/dinner the food is fantastic and the staff is kind and very friendly. Excellent place
