16/06/2025: The place has gotten worse since it was renovated. It has dead colors like gray and the atmosphere is that of a company canteen. Before the renovation the portions were decent, now they are halved. When there is the Fair in Terranuova Bracciolini they are even half of half. And the price remains the same. Last night I ordered a tomato salad that consisted of a tomato with two basil leaves on a very large plate, I should have paid half of what it cost. But the thing that surprised me even more and for which I had not been back for a long time was the behavior of the owner in a specific moment. It was me and my mother, an elderly woman, we were eating in peace when the waiter who served us, a bit with the typical Neapolitan color and talking continuously and in a different voice asked me for my phone number. I was incredulous and very embarrassed, and I was not, as I am now, savvy enough to know how not to let off the intrusive people immediately. Caught off guard, I gave it to him right then and there, even though I didn't want to. He gave me his and, as soon as I left the place, I immediately wrote him a message asking him to delete my number A strange memory flashed in my house. When, many years ago, someone told me that you have to be nice to waiters otherwise they might spit in your plate. So I took courage and went to the owner to simply ask her that when I returned there to eat she should serve me a different waiter. And I explained to her why. If the restaurant had been mine, I would have immediately apologized for what had happened and maybe, or rather probably, I would have offered a dinner to do so in a tangible way. She instead started talking and talking, still amazed that I didn't feel flattered by a man's compliments. She said that women should always feel flattered by men's compliments. That many men act like flatters even with her who knows how to handle herself and bullshit like that. Now, if she likes to receive compliments from men, that's not my problem. But I don't think at all that a waiter should take these confidences without invitation and without authorization, without a justifying context. I haven't been back for a long time. Last night was a coincidence because there was no parking available elsewhere, but I doubt I'll ever go back. That waiter stopped working there after a while, and the one who is currently there on a regular basis, Massimo, is a discreet person and does his job without ever being intrusive. Despite this, I'm not satisfied with too many aspects.

12/07/2025: We had a very good meal. The pasta with mushrooms and scallops was very tasty. The pasta with lobster and the lasagna were good, but not outstanding. The atmosphere was very quiet, which was a good thing. The service was friendly, but not particularly warm, and we had to wait quite a while for our order to be taken. We must say, though, that we arrived very late, and the staff were probably already tired. It was still a good restaurant visit.

23/05/2025: The restaurant looks nice and we managed to get a table without booking. The menu is varied, with a lot to choose from. The food itself was fine - we definitely had better food in Sicily…even 5 minutes down the road in Santa Flavia. For us, the staff let the place down - it’s very difficult to enjoy your meal when you feel like an absolute inconvenience to the very arrogant and miserable staff.

28/06/2025: My experience at Dinamo was unfortunately very disappointing. Although the place is pleasant and well-kept, with air conditioning that certainly made the environment more comfortable on a hot evening, everything else left much to be desired. The menu was extremely limited, with no vegetarian alternatives and few options in general. The "offers" proposed were not really advantageous and, in some cases, were even ignored: we had been promised two free dishes, but only one actually arrived. The service was chaotic and not very attentive. The waiters, although present, were too insistent, not leaving us the necessary time to choose calmly. Furthermore, the dishes were served at completely different times: I started eating only when everyone else had already finished, and although the inconvenience was reported, there was no attempt to remedy it. The orders arrived wrong, the waiting times were excessive and the cooking of the meat - the strong point of the place - was decidedly unsatisfactory: in some cases the meat arrived almost raw, even though it had been requested medium. It all ended with a really high bill, disproportionate to the quality and service received. Too bad, because the place has potential, but after this experience I will not return.

14/07/2025: Beautiful view, period. The staff, unfortunately, is poorly trained but occasionally friendly. The food, I must say, is poor quality; I was disappointed.

12/07/2025: We were here with my family for lunch and it initially seemed like a nice restaurant with a nice view and outdoor seating. We ordered our meals and the service was fine, not rude. The food they brought us didn't taste good at all, we ordered pasta with tomato sauce and two hamburgers, but it wasn't good at all, the pasta was filled with some strange dough and the hamburgers had a strange sauce that wasn't written on the menu at all. After we finished eating, the biggest problem came; we waited 30 minutes for someone to come take our food away and bring the bill. And you might think that it must have been full and that the service was busy, but there was no one in the restaurant at that time. Several times one of the two waiters passed by the terrace, one outside wiping the tables around us and the other (also outside) wiping and putting away the cutlery while watching a movie. We tried to make eye contact with them but still nothing. Finally we ran out of patience and went inside to pay. The other customers who left before us were paying outside, so it wasn't a system where you pay at the bar.

18/07/2025: Every time we come back from Turin we stop at the Paranza restaurant with fresh and delicious fish at excellent prices... highly recommended

27/06/2025: We wanted to overdo it a bit, taking 2 appetizers, two first courses and a second course and the second course was already full, since the dishes are really full fortunately. The waiter was very kind also to advise us and the place is wonderful on the sea.

27/06/2025: Waiters who don't pay attention to you or deceive you by telling you that they would arrive in 2 minutes but disappear. Too bad the food is pretty good. The view is the only thing worth it. A piece of advice? If you like standing outside and staring into space while they gently tease you, then this is the perfect place otherwise: run away while you still can.

03/06/2025: Inside the Byron hotel, the Magnolia offers many emotions thanks to the cuisine of Chef Marco Bernardo who combines the tasty cuisine of the South with experiences gained abroad, creating exceptional and refined meat and fish dishes. An extensive and well-composed wine list. A location with few seats but luxurious and modern. Staff at the highest levels in terms of service.

04/05/2025: Zeker één van de beste restaurants in Scalea. Gelegen op een sfeervol pleintje in het oude centrum. Beperkte menukaart maar meestal staat dit borg voor verse en kwaliteitsvolle producten én dat bleek ook zo te zijn. Zeer vriendelijke bediening. Een topervaring.

26/04/2025: Posto finora perfetto stasera tanta delusione. 2 paccheri all astice 70€ ove in questi non c era nessun connubio. Non è una questione economica ma solamente pura mancanza di combinazione culinaria/soporifera. Non so se tornerò x dare un ulteriore chance. Saluti e buona vita
