07/04/2025: Cute place and not being giant it is quiet, super friendly and helpful owner, attentive to every need. Really good dishes, top quality products. Fair price for the quality of the products. I will definitely come back to discover other dishes.

05/05/2025: Amazing spot right on Lake Garda! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The Italian food was delicious — fresh, authentic, and beautifully served. A perfect place to relax and enjoy great cuisine. Highly recommended!

04/05/2025: We went for an aperitif on the terrace next to the restaurant. Terrible and watered down aperitifs, we asked for some chips but they didn't bring them, not even a napkin... negative experience. Luckily the location made us forget the bad experience a little..

07/04/2025: A very nice renovated little place that you would never expect from the outside. Very friendly and attentive staff. We had pizza which we really liked. The meat and fish dishes that passed were very inviting (and plentiful!). I would happily go back to try them!

24/04/2025: We had lunch with a group of friends, super good and very abundant dishes, very fresh fish. Excellent grilled fish and meat. The staff is super trained and kind. Amazing final bill, 6 of us with two bottles of good wine and two courses each including side dishes, €35. Great for the place and where it is located.

05/05/2025: Sunday evening dinner, 2 adults 2 children. We arrive very early, but they kindly seat us with a smile and friendliness. Nice place, both externally and internally, contemporary with references to the past. We order pasta with meat sauce for the children, which arrives quickly, and this is a good thing. Portions perhaps too large for children, it's a shame because we don't like waste, so we make up for it by taking away the leftovers (please, equip yourself with disposable trays that close well, rather than those covered in foil!) For us adults we order 2 appetizers (vaporata and carpaccio), and 2 first courses (spaghettoni with pea cream, clams, gurnard, and mezzamaniche tomato water and prawn tartare). Good appetizers, although in the case of the steamed dish the prawns were ahead of cooking, and I was expecting a little more variety in the accompanying sauces. The chopped artichoke served as an accompaniment honestly adds little to the dish, as well as making it difficult to taste the wine paired with the fish. The carpaccio, good, with a strong flavor for a raw fish, perhaps could have been pushed more with an acidic and savory sauce to better balance the important taste of the fish. First courses a real plus, the spaghetti with gurnard peas cream and prawns very good and pleasant, while an honorable mention goes to the Mancini mezza manica with tomato water and tartare. Sweet, fresh flavour, with a note of basil to close a truly excellent first course. I would also like to point out that the first courses are sufficiently abundant. Pleasant service, very present, perhaps too much for those who prefer more privacy. But in our case, 2 chats with the staff were pleasant and sincere, during dinner. Good price quality. We will return with pleasure.

03/05/2025: Ordered the passatelli for 17EUR..... Grand total of 2 shrimp and not much else for seafood in an overall small portion. Mostly key pasta and sauce. Shame that it's in a great location.

19/04/2025: Llegamos aquí cansados y hambrientos. Nos alojamos en una villa cercana y la mayoría de los lugares están cerrados después del almuerzo. Fueron muy amables y nos hicieron los platos como lo solicitamos. Tuvimos un bebé con nosotros y queríamos plato de pollo. La comida era fresca y servida con una sonrisa.

11/12/2024: Locale tipico anni 80, nel bene ma sopratutto nella genuinità dei toscani. Le pizze sono discrete, con i tevoli tutti occupatiu il servizio si rallenta prezzi molto buoni.

23/03/2025: Sono rimasta basita. Porzioni così risicate in tanti anni non le avevo mai viste nemmeno nei ristoranti di lusso! E di locali ne giriamo parecchi e di vario tipo. Mi sta bene pagare un prezzo mediamente alto se mangio bene e con porzioni medie, ma se ordino una grigliata mista di pesce per 2 e mi arriva un piatto pieno di foglie di lattuga e verdure crude per nascondere il vuoto e mettere solo qualche pezzo di pesce allora proprio no! 140 euro in 4 per due acque, due primi ( miseri) , due antipasti ( miseri ) di pesce e una grigliata che secondo loro era per due ma era per una persona…due piattini anch’essi miseri, di insalata mista che facevano piangere…ma ripeto se ci avessero servito delle porzioni perlomeno dignitose non sarebbe stata assolutamente una questione di prezzo, perché le tariffe oramai sono quelle in giro nei ristoranti di medio livello, ma se mi alzo da tavola che non ho mangiato quasi nulla allora ci rimango davvero male. La qualità dei piatti è comunque buona. Almeno quello!!

18/09/2024: Da tre anni ormai ( cambio gestione)per noi è tappa fissa alla domenica per prendere il sole in tranquillità e gustarsi un ottimo pranzo. Tengo a precisare che non è la solita cucina con menù tradizionale di pesce ma invece c è un attenta ricerca della materia prima, sempre fresca, alla fine si trovano degli ottimi spunti per piatti diversi ma molto gustosi. Personale sempre attento, educato e preparato ad ogni vostra richiesta. Un particolare ringraziamento va a Filippo il titolare molto gentile. Consiglio a tutti di provare almeno una volta, non rimarrete delusi! Prezzi onesti. Continuate così 😉

05/05/2025: Highly recommended stop for those on motorbikes in the Po Delta area! Rifugio La Barricata is perfect for a relaxing stop after kilometers of banks, canals and wild nature. The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, with plenty of space to park motorbikes safely. Excellent dishes, perfect cooking, genuine flavors, generous portions as hungry travelers like. The fish is fresh and you can taste it. Friendly and helpful staff, fair prices.

07/04/2025: Quiet and welcoming place, ample parking, everything was excellent. At our table we all had pizza, among the best in Imola (and there aren't many left) I saw large portions of first or second courses at other tables which were very tempting and with a very nice presentation. The place was full and there was a lot of takeaway, continuously, despite this the waiter on duty last night was always impeccable and I really congratulate him because he managed everything, orders, service, cake cutting (which you don't pay for here unlike other places and pizzerias!!!), he cleared the table, he managed everything alone with the room full. Truly deserves praise! Always with kindness and availability. All rooms extremely clean. Prices normal. The only flaw was that we waited a long time for the pizza but we had been warned upon arrival and with the room full we were expecting it. I hope it was an exception that the waiter was alone or at least that's what it seemed to us. Unfortunately in the reviews I have often seen people complaining about having to wait, for us it wasn't a problem, for their pizza it was worth the wait, but for others it is a critical point. Even the pizza chefs had no respite. Last but not least, the pinsa is exceptional!!!! Crispy on the outside but not dry, soft on the inside, a cloud that melts in your mouth, divine!!!! Truly congratulations to all the staff, perhaps a few more units would make it easier for the workers and lead to shorter waiting times, otherwise everything was perfect!!!! We didn't have a candle for the cake and the waiter used a lighter with the flame lit and remained there with us long enough to blow on it, too cute 🥰 thank you!!!
