15/02/2025: In this Trattoria you feel pampered by a very relaxed and genuine environment. The owner, Mrs. Cristina, is very attentive to every request and extremely professional, always advising you perfectly. In the kitchen the husband, aided by a young cook, always produces very good dishes that are very beautiful to the eye. I highly recommend it.

30/11/2024: A wonderful experience: enter slow food mode, as they say "it takes time to prepare a good dish with love. Cristina is fantastic and makes you feel pampered. We ate raw and cooked appetizers (try the cod meatballs), first courses and delicious and tender fried food. Recommended place to spend a quiet evening with quality raw materials transformed with love and expert hands, there is no shortage of off-menu proposals with original but balanced combinations.

20/09/2024: Frittura indecente, forse perchè dovevano chiudere a hanno dato fondo al pesce surgelato rimasto. Il menù MISERO, si può scegliere tra poche cose. L'insalata di mare non c'è, dicono loro per il fermo biologico, ma altri ristoranti la trovi e buonissima! Forse solo loro lavorano l'insalata di mare fatta con pesce fresco! :))) In due abbiamo mangiato poche cose e tutte cattive e sul conto di 70 euro ci hanno fatto 2 euro di sconto NO ricevuta fiscale. Pietanze servite su contenitori di cartone, tutte.

06/01/2025: Lunch began with a request for the menu which was followed by the refusal of the owner who said "I'll do it" (ditto for the wine list). It's a question of transparency and professionalism, regardless of the food. The customer has the right to know how much the dishes offered to him cost.

01/03/2025: Excellent food, well cooked and very well looked after. Mr. Giorgio, who serves the tables, is very friendly, empathetic, polite and respectful. He explains the dishes and is ready to suggest choices. Three menus for three different tastes; seafood, land and vegetarian menus. Possibly, rather than à la carte, tasting menus are available for both tastes. Let me start by saying that these are not the usual tasting menus where small portions are served. At 'L Gòj the tasting menus are made from normal quantities. A good cellar and possibly bulk wine. Very good desserts. Here we are at the bill. After everything I said above one would expect who knows what amount. Well, that's not the case. The prices are average, indeed I dare say, even less. The invitation is to try it yourself. The large car park, adjacent to the venue, helps you not go crazy trying to figure out where to leave your car. Private and enjoy your meal!

16/02/2025: Ordered 3 portions of baked catch of the day, which arrived as if it had been boiled and tasteless, to make amends to the manager, against our wishes he sent us a portion of mixed fried fish (not bad), however, from the bill, he wanted to underline that he had not made us pay for the fish, but on the other hand he made us pay €60 for mixed fried fish. We felt cheated!!!

23/02/2025: Il Piropo is one of our favorite places Elena and Michele are always very kind and welcoming. The kitchen offers a wide choice of dishes with their fish specialties and more. All accompanied by a good selection of wines. Recommended for any occasion!!

Quality of the food without praise or infamy: the chef's hand is excellent, but given the weight of the price list, the raw materials must be of the highest level and not mediocre. There isn't a refreshing atmosphere in the restaurant, everything is a bit cold, but if you want to warm things up to the point of rudeness, it's enough to criticize the owner for one of "his" dishes. Little professionalism. Never again.

10/03/2025: The “teresina” risotto is very good As well as the steamed fish and vegetable dish. Nice wine list with many Romagna references (rightly so), "natural" wines, national and foreign labels. It wasn't just the dessert that thrilled me, a mascarpone puff pastry cushion with chocolate and orange, because there was very little mascarpone. Probably filling a pastry adequately would break it. Placing it in a different way can probably solve the problem and give you the opportunity to enjoy all its ingredients from the first to the last bite. Friendly and prepared service. Adequate price. Thank you

16/03/2025: A big problem to find parking, otherwise good pizza in a welcoming environment, with top service. Slightly high prices, like - now - everywhere.

07/03/2025: The pizza wasn't that great, there were no first courses, the service wasn't very prompt, the dessert wasn't good and not even a little was spent... in short, not to be repeated.

24/03/2025: Sono stato due volte in questo ristorante, a pranzo e a cena e mi sono trovato bene in entrambe i casi. Piatti veramente buoni e servizio gentile e puntuale. Conto coerente con quanto consumato.

21/09/2024: Factory on the shores of Lake Bolsena not far from the town. We were two families with 3 children, 2 of which were under three years old. Beautiful well-kept lawn with regular ground (they don't even lay towels on the ground to preserve the turf), beach-style umbrellas and sunbeds. The entrance into the water is characterized by large stones but on the left, near the pier, there is a strip of sand to enter without problems, clean water even in the afternoon, the best stretch of the lake still remains the Bolsena Montefiascone Marta Capodimonte side both for water cleaning and landscaping. The catering part can be improved: you have to order at the bar from the relevant menu, indicating the table number and take a drink, then the waiter will bring the ordered food, which is very good, to the table. Unfortunately it is not written anywhere and, at least to us, no one has told us.
