11/04/2025: Nice renovated place but I have to say that I remembered this very different famous restaurant a few years ago. The cuisine has changed, the fish is fresh but no longer cooked the old way and less abundant. I had ordered an island-style monkfish and after half an hour of waiting it arrived rare! I sent it back, the waitress apologized and offered me a quick mixed fry, and I had to accept, but I didn't go to eat that! Very long waits where we filled ourselves with good bread, yes but not good... I got the ravioli filled with fish which was good but the pasta was borderline raw. A quarter of a glass of wine is 7.50 and oh well... you know, fish dinners are expensive, but what was missing was the classic simple flavor of intense fish which I didn't taste because it was mixed with too many ingredients. Too bad I had other memories but maybe they were another management....

07/04/2025: Arrived around 6:30 for dinner with a friend and was greeted with a warm welcome from the staff. The service throughout the evening was very attentive, and I appreciated the nice selection of sparkling wines. One of the highlights for me was the option to try all the appetizers—such a great idea! Out of the eight different options, the fried artichokes were my favorite. For the mains, both the lamb steak and grilled chicken were beautifully cooked and presented. A very satisfying and well-rounded dining experience.

28/02/2025: We had lunch on a Sunday with friends and family. The first thing I would like to praise is the owners' great availability: they waited for us even though we had traffic delays (each of us guests came from a different region), they accepted the change from 4 to 7 people right away and offered a small aperitif to everyone. They were very kind to everyone. The food is excellent, varied and not at all predictable: the pecorino flan with confit pears and the mushroom pici with crispy black cabbage are exceptional. The meat is excellent. The setting is a wonderful glimpse of the Tuscan hills, unmissable. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

12/04/2025: Second time going - food was fabulous! Staff were friendly and wonderful. Space got a little too warm for me towards the end of the night. Would definitely go back.

04/04/2025: I waited for a reservation, but when I got there, there wasn't a single person there so I sat by the window and the view was the best even during the day. Perhaps because we were the only ones there, they treated us kindly and the food was very delicious. In particular, the wine you recommended went so well with the food that I even took a picture of it!

Ero arrivato in ora tarda a Firenze e affamato cercavo un luogo dove mangiare, molti locali avevano già la cucina chiusa e nonostante fosse vicina l’ora di chiusura del locale il proprietario (che mi aveva visto correre poco prima fuori dal locale, diretto all’albergo) non solo mi ha fatto accomodare, ma con grandissima professionalità mi ha consigliato su cosa preferire per la cena. Il minimo che posso fare è lasciare una recensione e la promessa di tornare appena tornerò a Firenze. Ps Provate il petto d’anatra, eccezionale.

15/01/2025: Con il nostro gruppo abbiamo trascorso la sera di capodanno a cena ed è stata una esperienza meravigliosa, bravissimi tutti, hanno avuto una attenzione super per gli ospiti e ci hanno fatto trascorrere una piacevole serata di fine anno, un merito speciale ai piatti preparati, i primi buonissimi e ben fatti, a seguire dei gustosi secondi che essendo in tanti abbiamo provato quindi le diverse proposte, complimenti ancora per la bella serata che ci avete fatto passare, grazie a voi tutti

15/03/2025: We had dinner in this trattoria yesterday. As a starter (primi) we both had soup. The soups were okay, but they cost 20 euros each - quite a lot considering they were just average and the service forgot to bring us bread. Our dishes: 1. Primi / First Menu: Crema di broccoli con pancetta croccante / Broccoli soup with crispy bacon – €20 2. Primi / First Menu: Zuppa toscana con cavolo nero e fagioli / Tuscan soup with black cabbage and beans – €21 3. Main Menu: Stracotto di manzo alla fiorentina con patate / Traditional Florentine beef pot roast with potatoes – €28 4. Main Menu: Fegato di vitella alla salvia with verdure di stagione / Veal liver with sage with seasonal vegetables – €26 We consider the price for the main courses to be okay again, but here too the food was only mediocre. The veal liver was particularly disappointing - it had no convincing taste and could have been prepared much better. The ambience was also fine, but we sat close to the door where it was drizzling, so I felt cold. Overall, the food was just average, the service wasn't particularly attentive, and the prices are too high for the quality. We left the restaurant with a rather bad feeling and would not recommend this trattoria.

14/04/2025: Delicious pizzas, friendly and helpful staff. You have to wait a bit before sitting down even if you have booked, due to many customers. On the other hand, where you eat well, there is crowding. I recommend it

10/04/2025: There were 12 of us and we ate a pizza, many of us with additions, a probable reason why some dishes were missing but were prepared for us in a short time. Very beautiful and elegant place but for my personal taste the lights were too dim. The pizza dough was very, very good, the seasoning was not excellent: I had a pizza with salami which I didn't like because it was very artificial. Very clean place and average prices. Pizza and medium beer €25.

Generous plates with quality products, flexibility when we asked for a table on the terrace when it was not initially planned to eat there. A magnificent and very natural setting We highly recommend this address, we will return there

12/04/2025: I returned with my family after 5/6 years when I met him for lunch breaks at work. The quality of the dishes has improved greatly, as has the decor. Fast and very friendly service. 4 stars for now because I want to go back to try the pizza and also land-based dishes... for now we have eaten fish-based dishes. Generous portions. Average prices... a fish first course around 14/16 euros.
