01/06/2026: Incredible service and delicious food! We arrived at our hotel after 8hrs on a train, exhausted and starving and this restaurant was the perfect oasis. Ragu and duck were delicious, vino della casa was delicious and the cheesecake was one of the best I’ve had in my life. Highly recommend.

26/05/2026: Tiny restaurant with a single owner and chef. Easily the most authentic restaurant I have been to in Firenzie! Had the tagliatelle with squid ink and clams. Flavorful, filling, and reasonably priced! Owner does not speak much english, but is very accommodating and friendly! Will definitely come back! ☺️

Beautifully presented. A plate of pici cacio e pepe, perfectly cooked and with an excellent sauce. The other plate of risotto with Tuscan cheeses and asparagus tips, an excellent dish with a delicate flavor. The staff was very friendly and open to a chat after dinner. Recommended for a dinner in Florence.

04/05/2026: TRULY SUPER!!!!!!!! A gem not just for tourists, but famous and historic. The location is elegant, the staff friendly. But the highlight is the food. The best dinner I've ever had in Florence during my stay. NOT TO BE MISSED IF YOU'RE IN FLORENCE.

01/06/2026: Authentic, delicious, friendly, and reasonably priced. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays, but open on Saturdays with outdoor seating by the fountain in the piazza – reservations recommended. Parking can be a bit tricky. Highly recommended!

25/12/2025: I had a wonderful time at Masò, a rustic and welcoming place in the center of Florence. Good food, fast service, and generous portions at fair prices. Experience with a little girl Even though it's not exactly a place for families with small children, the staff was super hospitable: they welcomed us kindly, making sure we had plenty of space and making us feel comfortable without any problems. A pleasant lunch, we'll definitely return.

09/05/2026: An absolute highlight in Florence! You can immediately taste that everything here is freshly prepared with love. The quality of the ingredients and the flavor of the dishes are truly excellent; every meal was incredibly delicious. The cheesecake, in particular, was unbelievably good—honestly, one of the best I've ever eaten! After our first visit, we knew we had to come back. If you're looking for authentic, fresh food in a special atmosphere, this is the place to be!

27/05/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed a fantastic tagliata cinta (wild boar) with red onions. My girlfriend had a delicious pasta guitarra. Superb presentation, very friendly service. Cozy, relaxed atmosphere. And free parking right outside the door as well. Highly recommended.

20/05/2026: A bad experience due to the poor service organization. Furthermore, the atmosphere wasn't good; the servers were doing their best to compensate for the disorganization. The pizza area wasn't large enough to handle both takeout orders and all the restaurant's tables. It took two hours for seven pizzas.

06/05/2026: DISGUSTING! This place is a disgrace to Italy! The tablecloth was dirty, the knife and fork were dirty. The Chef pizza we ordered was disgusting and inedible. Specifically, it was half-baked. The egg looked like snot next to the pizza. My partner took one bite and left 98% of the food there. We sent it back. We expected them to have the honor not to charge for this horror. But they had the nerve to pay. Unfortunately, I don't speak Italian so I didn't even try to negotiate with them. NO ONE SHOULD GO TO THIS PLACE THAT IS A DISGUSTING RESTAURANT! ... REPLY TO THE OWNER'S REPLY: It's your fault that the pizza my partner ordered was bad. The waiter said to put it back in the oven for a few minutes. But if you serve a disgusting dish, why are you surprised that the guest doesn't eat it? And when trust is gone, why should we ask for another dish if you couldn't even prepare the first one properly? I didn't order that pizza. It wasn't good either, but at least it wasn't as snotty as the other pizza. Shame on you for serving poor quality food. We were in town for 4 days, ate at Il Ciampo restaurant 3 times and we had no problems with them. In fact, at least they can make pizza there. Unfortunately, they were closed on Monday, so we went to you. But we already regretted going to a place that is a mockery of a restaurant. I suggest you get a new chef and maybe clean up the restaurant. You would do better to apologize and not complain. If you do this, you'll go broke. And then I'll open a bottle of champagne.

10/05/2026: Sunday dinner. Not many options in this part of town. This place came up in our search. Close to our hotel. Totally enjoyed our pizza with prosciutto. Spaghetti alo scoglio was superb. Service was fantastic!

From the very beginning, the tone of the conversation was unprofessional: instead of simply offering his availability or otherwise, he began to lecture me, emphasizing his status and asking for an introduction from me before deciding whether to collaborate. In my opinion, this is not appropriate behavior. A professional should respond clearly, politely, and directly, accepting or declining with grace, especially considering that the request was driven by the client's needs and not superficiality. Furthermore, he misinterpreted the situation, as if he were considered a "second choice," without truly understanding the context. In any case, when a client is willing to pay, the focus should be on offering quality service or declining respectfully, without presumptuous attitudes. Overall, an underwhelming experience in terms of professionalism.
